Solid bundle. Anyone who wants to trade in either of those games better do so now!

Hopefully Sony answers with their own bundle, as the GS 50% promo suddenly has me in the market for a PS3.:pray:
 
Whoa. If I had money I'd be all over that and would sell my current 20GB in a heartbeat. Oh well. Maybe some mother time.
 
Nice, wondering if I should mention this to my co-worker...

Told him to wait for a deal after his launch console RROD'd last week, but he opted to buy right away. Then the Amazon GC/ME2 deal popped up, and now this. Salt on wound.
 
Hey people I bought the elite w/pure and lego game . Lately it sounds as if the internal fan is wacko and crazy . If I return mine to costco would they give me this new bundle instead and the one that I originally got ?

P.S. I bought a 3 year warranty from CostCo
 
Does this mean the used price on these games are gonna be coming down? Because I wouldn't mind getting either of them. But I would of rather had these games with my bundle instead of Lego Batman/Pure.

Something tells me that these will be in regular packaging (with the "not for resale" disclaimer) due to them both being two-disc sets. I'm sure the value will still drop, but I wouldn't expect seeing all four discs in one case for $9.99 on ebay anytime soon.

I dont see why not , But they may have the bundle u currently have for awhile , so I dont really know
 
That's actually a very good bundle... does anyone know if the games will be in separate, normal cases? If so, I'll probably buy this bundle at some point.

It's highly unlikely. In the past the bundled games came in one case.

That is a damn awesome bundle.

I wonder what Sony will do? Wii now comes with Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports (atleast at Wal-Mart in the foreseeable future) and now this MS? I guess Sony will stick to their "Well no one bought our console when it was more expensive, now that It's $299.99 we don't need to throw in games. Oh and It's in short supply."

All 360 internal fans are wacko :lol: They may find it weird if they find out you have a warranty you bought from them but you want to return it -depending on how long ago you bought it. Costco also tends to have the older bundles for a while before they switch over to the newest bundles so you may have to try and wait until the return policy is almost expired. But Costco usually has longer return periods than other places depending on the item.

They won't put Uncharted 2 in a bundle this fast.. they didn't start putting Uncharted 1 into a bundle until it was well over a year old.

Damn good bundle for new 360 owners. Although, I am somewhat surprised that they're still making 120gb units. I was sort of expecting 250gbs to become the new standard. (maybe by winter)
 
Anyone know how they package the games?
I'm thinking of ordering this; if a coworker wants to buy ODST from it.
Does MS have a separate case for each game?
 
Oh man, I need to decide whether I want to sell Forza 3 and Halo 3 ODST soon. I might end up selling Forza 3 at the very least.

Does that mean these have the Valhalla chip? I'm not going to get a 360 till they release their final version of the system.

That is a awesome bundle. Both those games more then decent. I can't wait to pick up the combo pack of these games on the cheap.

Where the F is the PS3 bundle that is this good? Its the only thing keeping me from getting one. I need that final push to actually buy one.
 
I saw this for Canada amazon and BEst buy and was hoping they would do it for the Us.

And they have. So i hope they won't sell out quick or something retarded like that, since i have to wait until i actually do my taxes and crap to actually pay for it.

Forza3 FTW. ODST?? Not to sure about that one, but hey even if i don't play it, it's still a great deal imo.
 
As far as packaging, previous pack-in games have been both discs in one case with Bizarroworld cover art. With ODST and Forza 3 being double disc games, expect the four-disc Lost Odyssey case and hope for individual packaging.
 
But see, Lost Odyssey was ghetto stacked 3 deep on the spindle with a sleeve insert for the 4th. I honestly cannot see them doing that for this. Unless they have made a new style of case just for this, I really think they will be packaged as they are now.
 
That's a pretty solid deal. Sucks that I just got the Lego Batman/Pure deal.

I was about to pick up ODST used, though, so I may wait until its price drops after this bundle comes out.
 
If I was in the market, I would get the lego batman/pure bundle right now with the $50 gift card from amazon (and mass effect 2 for only $30 more), sell off lego batman/pure for $10-ish net on ebay and just wait six weeks and the odds are you will be able to pick ODST/Forenza for $20 or less.

As someone mentioned previously, last years Halo3/Fable 2 bundles didn't last all that long....I wouldn't be surprised if this was also the case with this ODST bundle....I suspect this is more an effort to compete with Sony's god of war 3 launch in two weeks than some long term strategic move....I suspect that MS is wary of pumping out large quantities of bundles with M rated games.
 
I also imagine it wouldn't be hard for Microsoft to put out a case similar to TV seasons in the single DVD case (hinged tray).
