New Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles!

Just FYI these new e models do not have optical audio support which a lot of people including me use for headsets and older surround receivers.

I would love to replace my XBOX 360 S with a XBOX 360 E (love the arctic blue color and the console form, plus the promise of quiter operation), but no optical out kills it for me.

Because people actually like to play retro systems and not just forget they exist.

That's the jack for the AV cables I thought. Does it double for the headsets?

Yep, any 3.5 jack will plug right up in there. I'm currently using the XL1s and using this cable that's plugged into my television

With the new E, I'll just be able to plug this straight in the xbox instead of my tv.

When the Xbone's already been $300 or less with promos and free games, $250 for the same sort of bundle is meh.

The difference is that the xbox 360 has a library of games to play

It's a 500 gb hard drive and 2 games that can still net you about 30 bucks when you trade them in. Much better than buying all this separately. MS wants 110 for the harddrive alone. Then add that up with the 180 dollar core system and the two games.

Beware BLOPS 2 is a download code not a disc.
