Anyone that wants NFL Head Coach 09 for $10, try your local Walmart. I've seen it there at multiple WM's in my area, so that might be a fallback option.

I passed on The Simpsons (360 version) at Best Buy the other day for $9.99. Went back later to get it and they were all gone and have regretted it since. For $7.99 and free shipping it is a no-brainer for me.

Thanks!

Thank's OP (Wildnuts02) just jumped on the Simpson, dark sector, & NBA Ballers for the 360. 3 game's for less then $30.00 buck's & 3 day free shipping..SWEET Deal, thanks again.....

If you don't already have Kameo, you have to buy it for $10. From what I hear from my friend, Dark Sector is also a must at $10. I haven't opened Dark Sector myself (and too bad I jumped on it when it hit $25).

Finally pulled the trigger on Blue Dragon and Dark Sector.

I have to add another recommendation for Kameo. I might very well have been viewing it through brand-new-next-gen-console glasses but I really enjoyed it when it came out.
dark sector is a steal at that price..
I got that game for 5 bucks, and i hate that game. :\

I bit on Battlefield 2. Still have never played it before somehow, and will probably still not find time to play it anyway but still bought it.
Why am i tempted to get get guild wars.... How does it work as a soloable game? Any good?
Definitely works as soloable... if you don't have other players to fill out your party, you can add NPCs. At that price, definitely worth it.

Thanks op, I went ahead and ordered The Simpsons. I sort of enjoyed the demo I played awhile back, and I watched some more video reviews, and it seems like a pretty fun platformer that I would enjoy. For $8 I'll give it a try - can't even hardly rent games that cheap nowadays.
What's the word on Condemned 2 for PS3?
Condemned 2 is an AWESOME game. If i were the type to buy games at release, this would have been one of them. it is a must buy at this price IMO.

Just bit Kameo(360), Dark Sector(PS3) and Stranglehold(PS3) for under $30 shipped. Can't beat that! Thanks for keeping the post updated!
Does anyone still play quake wars? for the price it sounds good, but is it really worth it?
Same question here, I don't want to get it only to find it's 100% deserted.

Good question-sort of seems like it was full co-op. That is SUCH a fun game though IMO. First GTA-like game I've actually liked.
does crackdown allow for online coop through the campaign (story mode) or just to mess around (kinda like how GTA4 is)?
Full ONLINE Co-Op through the story but I believe some of the nerd points are Solo only.

Hard for me to resist picking up the Simpsons for $8...

Ironically I would have picked that up if I hadn't played the demo :whistle2:/

I did buy the DS game ages ago since I guess it's kind of a competent fighter (actually I don't even remember at this point)

I beat Dark Sector last week after having bought it for $10. While not a perfect game by a good stretch, easily something that could be a great franchise with a little better level design and story telling.

Easily the best $10 I've played on the 360 thus far.

Played the crap out of the PC version of the game.

The levels are a little bland and the single player part of the game is blah as can be. If you play it multiplayer with friends, it's worth the price of admission. Nothing you haven't played before though.

I screwed up and accidentally bought it for both the Playstation AND Xbox last year. :D It was out of stock, and I ordered it for both, and forgot to cancel one.

Every time I see this thread I consider buying The Simpsons Game (360). At $7.99 with free shipping, I couldn't pass it up. Also, I had about $9 in my paypal account, so that covered the whole price.

Yeah plenty of people still play Quake Wars. I recently purchased it for $6 at Big Lots and was afraid that nobody would be playing this game but yeah it's still alive. IMO it doesn't match the Battlefield games but it's still a pretty fun alternative.

That actually brings me to another question, what's the deal with BF2 and all these damn expansion packs? The game is like 4 years old but in order to get all the expansions it cost like 40 :bomb:

Agreed I wish it had a better story line but it was just so fun collecting ORBS and getting stronger!

hell's highway for $10 seems like a pretty good deal. i heard good things about the story. it was dark and very emotional. and how can i refuse the simpsons game for $8??

I think the problem a lot of people had with Hell's Highway was that it is pretty much the same game experience as the original BiA, besides improved graphics. But for $10 it's worth it imo.

No one really plays the 2 mini expansions. The only worthy one is Special Forces which has a lot of servers and many players on them. Unfortunately people only tends to two of their favorite maps (Ghost Town and that other one I can't remember the name of).

If you're curious on how many people are playing Quake Wars, check here.

BTW what's up with NewEgg shipping the games via DHL?

ah i see. that might be a problem then. i started BiA: road to hill 30 twice and never got passed the 4th or so mission. i always got bored or distracted. perhaps i'll still give this game a try.

Picked up Crackdown because mine broke a month after I got it and The Simpson's Game since I been kicking myself for not getting it for 10 at walmart when I seen it then went back at it was gone.
It looks like Prey for Xbox 360 is Deactivated. Though I played that game and beat it.... it was pretty good.
Agreed it had been in development in one form or another since 1995, and had several major revisions. It was the first 360 game I played and I enjoyed it much. :applause: I wonder if Duke Nukem Forever will ever come out?!?

Thanks OP, I had purchased Lost (360) and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow (PSP) from this topic. Both arrived quickly and brand new. $10 a piece, can't hardly beat that.

The Simpsons (360) for $8 was too hard to resist. Thank you OP, but please get your avatar to put on some damn clothes.
that live arcade for $10 is a deal considering it comes with a 1 month code for xbox live, easily worth $4-5.
Indeed. A great value. If you don't need anymore XBL time, sell that for $4. Then, you got yourself six...yes, six...arcade games for about $6. Can't really argue with $1 a game.
