I actually kinda like Lost. I got it for like 10 off newegg and sold it back to Amazon for like 5 bucks.

It was like an interactive episode, its just a shame it's not really cannon. And I'll agree with the running from the smoke monster bit, you run and hide when ever you hear it. Once I beat that part I was very happy. My advice would be play it with a walkthrough since you can actually miss visiting stations if you don't know how to reach them. It was also an easy 1000GS.

Red Alert 3 has been dead for a few days. I actually managed to order it and check out two days ago but Newegg actually deleted my order without a trace.

i think the campaign is just multiplayer bot matches, though it includes 2 player splitscreen. i'm interested in picking it up too, though the online community is likely very dead.

What system are you getting it for?

Single-player is nothing but bot matches. Some are impossible without a buddy, since you need at least two human players playing to succeed (your bot friends are never useful).

It's probably worth it for PC, but not for consoles. I have the PS3 version.

It depends if you like the gameplay. It is extremely fast paced. The single player is just the multiplayer with bots. IMO, it is worth the $10.
 
For anyone on the thread with UT3 for 360, we should setup some CAG games. I just ordered a copy and would be interested in playing with some people.

Not really, no. I beat all but the last "final match" on the insane setting. The bots are reasonably helpful.

Did you order a new copy? From your post, I'm not sure if you meant you ordered new and got a re-sealed copy but you're glad it's not the Spanish game you got and it's scratch-free.

I've ordered one game from NewEgg before (FIFA Street 3) and I was quite suspicious it was a re-sealed copy even though it had the original MS seal attached. The plastic wrap was flimsy and when I looked at the game disc, it had some cardboard-like particles even though the manual hasn't been thumbed through and the disc was scratch-free.

Anyone else with a similar experience?

I bought it new. Some people were saying they got a Spanish version or one of their discs were scratched. I was just saying how mine was perfect.

DMC4 PC seems to be about $6 (with shipping) for a new copy on Amazon marketplace. Since it is Marketplace, can't guarantee if they really are new but for the hell of it, I placed an order with the cheapest one. I already played through half the game on a borrowed PS3 copy last year (just got bored of the backtracking) and for this price, I don't mind owning it.

That actually sounds like an awesome game. I saw it at gamestop a while ago and just thought it'd be a crappy film game that ABC greenlighted as a cash cow.

I haven't played Hell's Highway on the PC but I've seen it used as a benchmark quite a few times. I would think it would be decent since it's just an FPS. I enjoyed it on the 360 over the Summer. Don't hate me if I'm wrong :bouncy:
 
Hmm...I wasn't super crazy about the game when I played it on the consoles, yet for $10 it almost seems worth buying it for PC, 'cause it would certainly be a great way to kill time on the go if need be!

FYI... I recently (last week) ordered Crackdown for a friend and it was resealed, like stated in the original post. Still had the MS seal and I opened it up and everything still looked brand new, except that the plastic on the back of the case was a little warped (I'm assuming from the heat of resealing).

I think GOTY edition is a better deal for $20 since it comes with Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles DLC which I think buying individually would cost at least $20-30.
 
I'm a sucker for collector's editions, so I think I'll be picking up the Oblivion SE. Pretty sure I've seen Shivering Isles for around $10 before, so for the same price I'll be able to get a much nicer package (although is Knights of the Nine included with Shivering Isles? Ehh, no big loss if it isn't).

Oh and just to be sure, the one on Newegg is the one with bonus DVD, Septim coin, map, etc, right? I've only seen that referred to as the "collector's edition", for some reason newegg bills this one as "special edition". Probably the same thing that they just named differently for some reason, but I figured I'd mention it anyway.
 
I am so tempted... I have this game on Xbox 360, but I kind of found out too late that the PC version is ultimately superior (thanks to modding).
