To anyone getting that code, have you bought memory from newegg recently?
Nope. It said mine was for shopping for hard drives. Funny thing is I didn't buy any, I just had them in my cart when I was comparing prices.

I don't know if the drum set is any good, but NE has the Rock Revolution w/ drums for $20 free shipping. I know the game isn't worth a crap but for a shipped set of drums it's not bad.

Dammit, I DID actually buy a hard drive from NewEgg, along with a crapload of games in the last couple of months but no code for me. :(

actually mine said

"You have been randomly selected to receive the below coupon—a small token of thanks for shopping for Xbox 360 Games at Newegg. We don't often send out these types of coupons, so be sure to use it before it expires"

with xbox 360 games in bold

What was the subject line on the coupon emails? It would be helpful to know what to look out for, as I tend to skim the account that I have them sending email to, and might well miss it if they did send it to me.

I just saw Cheapy's post, and I see Fuel for 10.99. Anyone who likes arcadey racing games should get this, I definitely don't think it deserves the horrible press it got.
It's all luck of the draw... unfortunately. I love Newegg and buy from them often. I should get a coupon
Yeah me too, but I think in the minds of most marketing schemes, that disqualifies us from coupons. People who buy regulary don't need incentive =/

Finally jumped on Guilty Gear 2 for $8. Doubt it will get much cheaper than this lol

Update on PC GTA4: Newegg sent me another copy as a replacement for the one I received that was used/open - this replacement is also used/open. I wonder who the supplier is and if Newegg knows they are suppling used copies of PC games.

wow...MU2 for $26.99. I guess there's little to no reason to buy a game on release date anymore unless you're getting exclusive DLC that you can't live without.

I've purchased quite a bit from Newegg over the years. In July, I purchased a 7.1 home-theater system from them. And, I was able to talk to a CSR (online), and receive a hefty discount.

In the last couple months, I purchased a bunch of items to build a home-theater PC. And each time I was ready to order, I was able to ask and see if they could knock some money off. Each and every time, they took a bit off. Sometimes, it was $5. Other times, with large orders, they even knocked off $20.

You may definitely want to talk them up sometime. They have great reps, and are a great company.

Uh, no. We need all the suckers who pay full retail price on release day. They support the industry so that we can have great games at great prices later on.

Received a replacement copy of Arcade Unplugged on the 360... This one is open as well. Sigh. Newegg credited my account at least and told me I can keep both copies of the game.

looks like mirror's edge is back up to 20 now... i was playin the demo again yesterday kinda wish i picked it up...

also for anyone wondering about Pure... i picked it up for 10 during the bestbuy sale a while back and it's def a sweet game... probably worth a lot more then 10
Wow...Pure is easily worth twice that $9.99 price point!
Agreed. I was able to snag it for $5 from Gamefly during their holiday sale using 5 GF dollars. The graphics are great and it's easy to pick up and play. It's the best game I have for my 3 year old since it puts you right back in the middle of the track a second or two after crashing or getting stuck or going off course. All he has to do is push the gas trigger and enjoy the ride. He only needs my help to start the next race.

Mirror's Edge is great. It's short, but I loved it.

I am about to order Red Faction: Guerrilla. Great price, but two questions for anyone who can answer them.

First off, does any one know of any Newegg promo codes?

Secondly, has anyone else ordered Red Faction? I wanna know if your copy was factory sealed or resealed.

My copy of Red Faction came factory sealed.

Just got mine today too and yes it is properly sealed.

Pure is sold out. I am pissed, I would've gotten it if that coupon worked on it standalone. I was still trying to decide what filler game I was going to get...

A few weeks ago I bit on Crackdown f/ $9.99 free ship because a friend and myself are going to co-op it. I ended up having some problems with shipping. The DHL shipping was showing it was delivered to my house but it was not there. Come 4 days later it did arrive but the package was open. Also the game was resealed but had the xbox label along the side. Was not factory sealed.

I had a series of exchanges with Newegg cust supt and they were really good. Ended up having to do at least four emails with them on the hopes of getting the shipping issue claim put though. I completely understand they needed to do this and asked a series of questions (confirm my shipping address, if it's possible somebody else picked up the package, ect).

Newegg did refund my purchase and I was really happy about that. After I received the package I emailed support saying it came and kept them up to date with what happened and did not ask for a refund and wanted to close the claim. They responded back saying due to my problems they were going to refund my purchase.

Mostly wanted to share the story here as everybody else has. Shipping took over a week but the DHL shipping showed about six days using the eggsaver. Really I'm not sure what happened but Newegg support overall was really good (on par with Gamefly when I had a similar issue and they refunded me) so if the deals stay good I'll totally again go with newegg.

Newegg has great customer service. I voted them for best customer service here on CAG. And btw, Eggsaver claims 4-7 days shipping.

Edit: I ordered Kingdom Under Fire. I will report back its condition upon arrival, if no one has already beat me to it.

Edit 2: KUF was sealed :)

Yup the DHL showed six days from order to delivery on the website and for free I was 100% fine with that. Something very odd must have happened after shipping. My order didn't come to my drop off till about four days after DHL website said the package was delivered also the package was clearly opened. It was very bizarre I'll never know what happened.

Newegg support was prompt (I put in my first email on a Saturday afternoon and got a reponse a few hours later much to my surprise. Overall I had no problems with Newegg at all it was mostly the shipping situation that was odd.

I'm going to try another low cost order soon when some new $10'ish material comes out hoping for a better shipping experience because their prices are very good recently on games in comparison to most places.

DMC4 360 just came in, retail sealed.

-Edit-
For anyone interested, here's a list of the newegg games I've purchased in the last two months that have come in retail sealed and no problems:
Devil May Cry 4 [360]
Mirror's Edge [360]
Unreal Tournament 3 (x2) [360]
Shadowrun [360]
Kameo [360]
House of the Dead: Overkill [Wii]

Actually, Microsoft used the cheap style of shrink wrap for Crackdown, so it was actually factory sealed.

No they didn't. The only first party game I'm aware of that used non-Y fold wrap is Blue Dragon. I have never seen a copy of Crackdown that wasn't Y-Fold wrapped.

Many copies of Crackdown included the seal, as I have seen them in stores sealed that way and other people on here have reported getting it in that cheap style of factory sealed from other sites such as Amazon. Blue Dragon contained the same style of seal. Every copy of Crackdown at the Target and Best Buy's I have been to has that type of seal.

Got my copy of Condemned 2 : Bloodshot today for the 360 and it came factory sealed with the security sticker on it and this time they didn't screw up and have the disc freefloating in the spindle. it's when I see items in condition like this that encourage me to shop again.
You think KUF is worth $8? I'm thinking about getting it for my brother. I remember he liked the original's Xbox 1 demo.
Well they're not all that similar, it has none of the RTS elements... I would give the KUF on Xbox a 9/10, I'd give KUF:CoD on 360 a 6/10. It's enjoyable if you play it co-op (requires separate consoles for each player) but I'd steer clear of playing it solo.
