Thinking about buying a new 360, but don't really need one that badly. Still, I've had this one for a while and could use the HDD space.
 
The sale banner said 1 pm PST. So they definitely said it, but it runs through BF, so I guess technically it could be any day.

Also, maybe they put the pic of the bundle in there to attract customers and mislead a bit.

The link that was in the OP, directed to a page on newegg that says the sale will start 11/21 1pm pst. If you click on that same link it no longer shows that banner instead it shows newegg's black friday deals right now as it should be. The issue right now is that it looks like newegg is saving there best black friday deals for a later undisclosed time currently (Most likely some point starting tomorrow).

The link that OP posted used to have a banner ad that said "1pm PST on 11/21." About an hour ago that banner no longer shows when you click on it, and instead you just get lists of crappy video game deals.

I'm guessing PST since newegg is based in California and the previous banner that advertised 1pm is based on PST.
 
I was going to try to snag a PS3 bundle on the chance that they will have one even though it wasn't listed on their sneak peak ad, but I'm done with it now. Too frustrating. I'll try amazon's lightning deal tomorrow, and if that doesn't work, it's off to walmart!

My rule for HDD is to not get anything over 2GB in size. They are packing so many bits into these spinning platters, even at 2gb I worry of one failing on me. But I still trust Seagate over WD. I hope the new technology for hard drives happens soon to greatly improve Space & Reliability.

Going to be hard to fit everything on your computer with just 2GB. But hey, safety first. :razz:

With a 32GB Flash Drive you could fit twice what you currently have, and no need for an expensive NAS for 14GB ;).

Quite honestly though, I agree with you that the 2TB is at. It's similar to when 1TB - 1.5TB became the norm, and had a higher platter count. They were prone to more failures, and not to mention the dreaded SD15 and 7200.1 Barracuda line with Seagate. I really need to replace my 1.5TB drive soon..

It didn't went live at midnight last year. I remember cause tons of people were complaining that they went to bed after midnight and came back on later in the morning to find out they slept past it lol.

Perhaps like the DOTD's then? Maybe around 2am? Your totally right though, I remember I stayed up all night waiting for it to hit, if im not mistaken, they went live last year 4am ish.

Sonic Generations, $15. That was my asking price. I was shocked not to see it going for $10 on Amazon, Walmart or any other retailer.

This will make an awesome gift over the holidays. Relive the days of Sonic 3 with some of the family I grew up with.

I was really letdown that it wasn't. $15 was my price, I took it. $5 isn't that big of a deal. $10 would have been much more consumer surplus for me though.

Here is to hoping for more deals. I think I may watch NewEgg much more than Amazon this year.
 
Does anyone know if the PS3 version of Sonic Generations runs well? I played the demo and it ran terribly, but maybe they fixed it for the regular release.
