Note: You probably can try to PM these in stores like Walmart, TRU, CC, etc. Not that the game titles are impressive, but they are nice gifts for people who have yet to play a few of these games.

I wouldn't buy Polarium, you can find it for $10 in many places on clearence. I have seen it on clearence for $5 at Comp USA. I bought it from a TRU that was closing and it was $50 off a original price of $10.
These aren't $8.96, but they're still decent deals:

Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal (DS) - $14.99
Pokemon Trozei (DS) - $14.99
SOB i paid 22 for a used Demon seal. ITs worth it . Its like a Azure dreams clone.
Is Trozei good? Polarium? Both's demos seemed kinda dumb.

I MISSED AEON FLUX! DAMMIT!
I had a lot of fun with Polarium, but I thought Trozei kinda sucked. Maybe if you're really into Pokemon, it'll be a good buy, but otherwise stay away.

Polarium is fun in short bursts, but I very much preferred the puzzle stages. The "main game" just doesn't let you zone out, ala Tetris, but it isn't as strategic as Meteos.

Trozei...decent. There really isn't any challenge, though there is some skill involved if you try. Still, it's more often random luck that results in big combos and such. Reminds me of a Popcap game, but I can't remember which.

That description is spot on about Polarium. It is a great, cheap, pick up and play game. It is worth owning at $10.

Killer 7 for Gamecube isn't even sold on Newegg. Too bad because thats the only game I was actually interested in picking up.
I got Polarium for the DS. Even with the expensive shipping and tax it came to $14.60, which is worth it for a decent puzzle game.

I was on the fence about getting FIFA World Cup for the DS, but the shipping went from $4.99 to something like $7.89 - not a worthwhile discount for buying more than one.
since you're from SF, just head down at Toys R Us in San Mateo.
they have 5 copies of Polarium there for $ 9.99.
not price drop, but regularly priced, and anyone hardly notice it. :applause:
I was charged shipping for each game- so you do get raped for shipping. I still ordered it- but they do charge the shipping charge for each item- that's how they make their money- not that I blame them- I buy all my computer hardware from them unless they don't have something in stock that I want.
I don't know if you remember newegg of 2-3 months ago... but if to items had a shipping of $4.99, you'd pay a total of $9.98 shipping. They updated the system, and it's slightly better. It's not great, but it's better.

I remember a while back, that they allowed dvds and games to be shipped via USPS, I'm not sure if they still do that anymore though.

I'm really only interested in Gun for the GameCube, but I'm sure I can probably find it for the same price (if not cheaper) somewhere else.

Thanks for the deal though.

I was looking into getting another copy of Sk8land for a friend, but it appears to be out of stock. The listing's been taken down.
