NFL 2007 Season Thread

What the hell kinda play was that Seattle?

LOL, I love how Hasselbeck tried to lobby the refs... "C'mon there was a receiver in the area. It was an incomplete pass!"

So, the Packers have some turnovers and everyone has something to say. Now they rip off a 28-3 run and all you haters have nuthin!!!!
GO PACK GO!!!

I thought that the jennings on jennings match up would prove to be huge for both teams. I figured the advantage for the packers with the size and strength of greg jennings would pay off, and its proving.

Yessir. This truth derives from everlasting and exclusive love for my (or our :D ) Vikings.

I'm glad to see Packers come back after a horrible start. Now if the Cowboys can win tomorrow. We'll have a pretty good rematch from earlier this season. Maybe Farve can get another chance to win in Dallas (0-9).

GO PACK GO!!! :applause:

Now, to make today even sweeter, the Jags will upset the Pats :D

Colts vs. Packers Superbowl - "The Hardcount/Audible Bowl" :p

i actually want the patriots to go all the way and win the superbowl (unless of course Big Blue is on the other side of the ball).

Giants beat Dallas 23-17
Pats beat Jags 20-13
Colts beat Chargers 27-17

I think the colts/chargers game will be the best this weekend....I just don't see the jags defense being able to ground the pats air attack....if TO doesn't play all that well due to the injury the giants have a chance...

Really? I expect the Colts to crush the Chargers by 21 points or more. The first time they played this year Peyton threw 6 interceptions, Marvin Harrison and Dallas Clark didn't play, the Colts were away (in sloppy conditions) and Vinatieri missed a chipshot field goal at the end that would have won it - they only lost 23-21. Gates isn't going to be 100% (if he even plays). I think the Chargers have as good of a chance to beat the Colts as the Raiders do tomorrow.
Garrard was down on that TD pass, definitely. Not that its any excuse.
I agree but I don't think it was conclusive enough to overturn the original call.

They showed it a second time during the Patriots drive... They showed that Garrard's whole leg was clearly down while the ball was still in the hand.

I'm not upset about the call because it was so close, though. Could've gone either way.

Yea I saw that but I still think it was way too close. I did learn something new though I have never heard about the shin being a part of the body that can down somebody

They really missed Kyle Brady while he was out, he's already made some great blocks.

I like these new cameras they're using, in the replays they can pan and scan around the same camera angle all across the field. Could really see what it could do when they showed the coverage in the endzone when Brady threw the TD to Watson.

I think everything except for your hands and feet are. (not sure about your head I guess)

Yea the head is I think, If I recall correctly a play like that played a big part in a Pats and Bills game about 5 years ago
I still haven't seen the facemask.
It was pretty clear. It was a big bunch, Harrison reached up and found the facemask.

Anyway, TOUCHDOWN Jags! Keeping Garrard/Hasselbeck as my Gridiron Fantasy QB's for the 2nd week looks like a great idea!
Anyone surprised of the *lack* of defense?

I thought forcing a turnover was a pretty good way of stopping an offense, but hey.

Agree with the guy with the All Day avatar. Tom Brady is going to throw a long one to Randy Moss right on the opening drive of the second half.... and the Patriots won't look back after that to win the game. :D

what a call! They have run that play as a run so many times this year. In a way that showed respect for the Jags because they assumed they were scouted very well.

Or not. Still, 3 points makes it an 8 point game. If the Jags stop the Pats here, they can win/tie it. If not, then they'll have a hell of a time trying to get back.
