Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna have a long wait again for my copy like I did with RSV2...?
 
The game is just shipping out today. From what I hear people who live on the West Coast will have the best chance of getting the game today.

Best Buy in CT said 2 PM in their ad... I'm gonna go after the gym to check it out.

That was only on select games. I'm not sure if they do that at all anymore.
 
Best Buy marks on their Ad that time is subject to change, so no go for getting anything out of it...

and inside the store it's advertised as tomorrow now, they didn't have it an hour ago when I went.
 
I'm going to have to drop from this league.

I just realized I have insufficient funds at the moment. Won't be able to buy this until October. I do apologize.

Could have been a early release how ever, since I see a lot of you guys havn't gotten it yet. The BB, Wal-Marts and CC have been notorious in this Area of FL for putting stuff out early. I remember when I got Stranglehold a week early cause BB put them out early.
 
Got my refurb 360 back... hopefully, it will last long enough (at least a year). Just in time for NHL 09! :D

In Canada, I guess we will have it by Thursday at worst.
 
I might still have a problem also, I have my copy reserved at a Gamestop where the guys are total dicks and a lost my pre-order receipt. I know all my info down to my customer number but last time this happened they gave me a hard time and would not let me pick up my game, I was lucky enough to find my reserve slip that time a day or two later.

p.s.
Before anybody asks, I pre-ordered at that one because I knew it would be the one I would be passing tomorrow. That way I would be able to pick up the game during work and not have to go out after work to get it.
 
well, no stores around me had it, checked 5... i'll have it tomorrow and have no work so, all nhl all day for me


EDIT... on another note, Pure Apathy, my friend bonesofhoudini bricked his xbox and is playing currently under tootsieroll69.. can u change bones to that name... he wants the number changed too, to 47 same position.. thanks

Ok I changed the things around that he requested. Please have you friend send a friend request to CAG NHL 09 too.

Any word on how jerseys work in EASHL? Can we customize colors/logos? I hope we can do some kind of green/yellow/black combo like the jersey designs several pages back.

I live in Canada, got my copy today.
 
Yeah, I'll get it tomorrow. After playing the demo longer, I really need a next gen hockey game. Ill take left D, but I can play Goal if it comes down to it. #88
 
I doubt we can use 'Ass' in our team name, so probably go with CAGs

If we can choose any city I would say:
the Toyko CAGs in honor of our leader.
Or Las Vegas CAGs because Vegas is all about money.

I was also thinking Tokyo CAGs.

Now another question. If I cannot make a custom jersey, who should we base our jerseys off of?

Just put in my order for in-store pickup at the local BB. Only cost $6 after using some digital coupon codes I had. Picking it up on the way home from work. Can't wait!

Also I like Las Vegas for the city.

I posted this a few days ago, but when I go and try to look at the CAG NHL 09 friends list on my 360, it says "No friends found." Bwa?

I'll pick up the game while I'm at work today, I'll be home around 10:30EST. Hope to get a game or two in with you guys.

Finally got my copy, time to play...

Tokoyo CAG's is cool... any jersey with lots of bright colors that look Japanese would be a cool compliment to the name.
 
anyone else not able to use the online...

for me it keeps saying I need to be signed on XBOX live and the EA servers... but I am on Live
 
Are there still any openings? If they 1st post is updated, I'll take LD or if someone has dropped out, I'll take any forward position. Let me know so I can resubscribe to Gold. My GT is Rikson and I've played the hell out of NHL '07 and '08 for the 360. I'm picking up the game today.
 
Scratch what I said earlier. Wal-Mart didn't get it today so I'll be waiting until tomorrow or Friday now. I'll get everything set up ASAP once I get the game.
 
Just got done playing a few games of the offline BAP, the first game wasn't so hot. It took me a little bit to get adjusted to having to do line changes, but towards the end of the game I had the hang of it. The second game went much better and we were actually able to get the win.

Nice goal AK85. The replay he posted reminded me of another idea I had. Once we get this thing rolling, I plan on making a highlight video and putting it on youtube featuring the best plays that the players on the Tokyo CAGs (city name still pending but I've seen more people on here in favor of Tokyo) made in online games. So if you make a great play, go ahead and save it and post it in here saying you'd like to see it in the video.

Just as an example, this is what my NCAA 09 campus legend career highlight video turned out like.

The CAG highlight video will be very similar to how this one was set up. I'll probably put up a screen with the player name and number, then show the replays for that player. Then I'll go to the next one.

I messed with the offline stuff, I didn't see an option to do the EASHL stuff without being part of a club. So I just went ahead and played some single player stuff.

Well it's either Wal-Mart or drive 20 minutes to the nearest Gamestop. I'd rather just wait until tomorrow when I'm going to be at work anyway to pick it up. Save some gas too ;)

Yeah I saw it, but you didn't post a number. Once you post the number you want I'll add you to the team.

Also I'm sure there are some people who are on the list that won't actually get the game for whatever reason. So I'm going to give everyone five days to join the team once I get everything set up and send out invites. The people who don't join will have their spot opened up for someone on CAG who has the game and wants to play on the team. Does anyone have a problem with me doing this?
