NHL 2007 Season Thread
Love what the Pens did.

Washington got away with grand theft in getting Huet for practically nothing.
Do you think they'll trade Johnson now? They have 3 goalies!
Do you think they'll trade Johnson now? They have 3 goalies!
I've seen Johnson play a few times this year. Wasn't impressed, seems like he's losing a step as the years go, and he's not all that old. He'll probably get reassigned/put on waivers for the rest of the year, with Huet getting a good number of starts down the stretch. Huet has put up some nice hot streaks in his short time, and if he can get on one, the Caps have a chance to make the playoffs.

The way I see that working out is Kolzig goes one more year, with him and Huet splitting time next year. Johnson will be traded this off-season or sooner for a young prospect, which they will keep in the minors for a year and bring up when Kolzig retires.
Toews injured too unfortunately. :(
Stick to the mouth. Hopefully, he'll only miss a game or 2, if any.
Why isn't Chicago a better team? They got some good players... I'd root for them.
I keep asking myself that very same question. They keep getting injured. fucking Havlat is out again, too. If Kane, Sharp or Keith ever get hurt, the team will be proper fucked.

They have won 4 straight at home, though. If they miss the playoffs, color me disappointed this season (much like the previous 7 seasons, but moreso this year).

Wild, Ducks and Sharks this week, so it will be a toughie.

Wings finally won a game yesterday. Some of the injured are starting to return. It was entertaining to watch some of the younger guys get a chance to play defense though. They were missing 4 out of 6 starters on D and are still missing 3 regulars. Lidstrom who is pretty much my league mvp being one of them.

The human highlight reel of the NHL. Watched him pull the trick in the 1st period.
Ovechkin. So hot right now. Ovechkin.
Who's the idiot? yeah... that's me. Brian Campbell welcome to SJ! xD

wowwie
Bruins are going for their 7th win in a row tonight against Washington, they've been hot.
oh man... this is post is the highlight of my day.

Wow, sharks play since they got Cambell is night and day. Geez. Shieryda, nice hawks win. :)

Might as well be Oveckin vs the world. xD

Yes, Chicago needs its back-up goalies to step it up. Crawford played well.

George Parros is a scary man. I think it's the mustache.
Aw, fuck. Both Svatos and Smyth are out indefinitely.
Smyth got rocked into the divider. Johnson should have let up on that play.

Nice to see Carey Price get another win. He's gonna be great.

Coincidentally, I opened up another pack of UD Series I, and pulled out a Carey Price Young Guns rc last night!:bouncy:
I just realized you're playing us. Damn it. I'm at work... No tv.

You can still get updates on NHL.com.:D

It's over. Chicago had a disallowed goal, or it would have maybe gone into OT. They badly needed those 2 points.

Oh, wow. I didn't realize that Corey Perry is gonna be out for 6 weeks. That's bad for Anaheim.

NHL.com sucks balls... I use Yahoo NHL. :)

Was it good? Seeing as people that needed to score did, it sound like the Sharks did well again. They seem to be "peaking" at the right time.

Serious, it would be hard to pick a winner with these two because I like both teams.

Good. I hope the fucks burn in hell. This is good too.

Twas a good game. Hawks had a couple chances to tie it up, but failed to convert.

Phoenix is looking good for the playoffs (well, except for tonight's game).

Colorado wins today.

Hell fuckin yeah, Stars lost.

ya know... if it was earlier I would've laughed at you about Phoenix going anywhere but they've been really helpful in killing those other fuckers at the top of our division.
I might have to set my VHS player...
Either way, this will be one to watch. I'll have to race home after my floor hockey game, which starts at 11AM.

The Wash/Pit game was pretty good although I missed all the goals. :( Didn't have to use the VHS... But caught it in HD thanks to my HD tv tuner!

At the moment I'm at work trying to keep tabs on the Sharks and Chicago at the same time via Yahoo NHL. No tv or radio here. :(

Would've been nice if they got 3 pts but 2 is good too. Sucks the Hawks lost, sounds like they put up a pretty good fight though.

Hi, I'm Backstrom and I like to score on my own team.

Crosby and his linemates were in disbelief when it happened. Crosby kept repeating "Did he score on his own net?!"
Yeah, I thought for sure the worst it went off someone not someone defending HITTING IT IN... xD
I told my wife that fans kill soccer players in South America for that shit.

Lets not talk about Football (soccer) fans outside the US.

Tough loss for Chicago?

What can I say Sharks win their 10th straight. It's like night and day... it's like in the Matrix the difference between when Neo was plugged into the Matrix vs him being "the one". xD

The Wings outplayed them big time only young Crawford in net kept it close for the Hawks. He played very well. Towes and Kane were almost invisible tonight.

Sharks having Cambell on the blueline has really helped, plus its nice that Cheechoo has started playing well.

Yeah, he's growing on me again. Good for him. Speaking of cheech those damn preds stoll cheech's whistle... for that tool Tootoo. Roenick was on the air and called him Dumdum. lol

What's this about a whistle? Are those guys from the same area? I think they're both Inuit, right?

Congrats to the Sharks on the 10th win in a row.

The young guys for Edmonton are really playing well.

We had the fucking whistle first and then they came up with it for that tool Tootoo but they all blow it during the whole damn fucking game.
