Ovechkin: 2 more goals last night. Only needs 4 more to get to 60.
Wish I could've seen the game. Was surprised to hear Wash won.

At this point, it doesn't really matter to me if they make the playoffs (although, I'm sure A.O. would be a monster in those games). I just want him to get 60 lamp-lighters.
Kolzig got his 300th win, so that's pretty cool, too.
You know, I used to live in DC and attended some CAPS games pretty frequently, particularly on the $5 student ticket nights; this of course was before Ovechkin, so I expect prices such as those have ceased. I always thought Cap fans as rather weak, as you could probably hear a pin drop at the games I attended. As I said earlier however, this is during the Witt Jagr Bondra Gonchar years so, Im sure things have changed. Always liked Kolzig -- usually a wall against the Rangers.

fuck yeah, the shooting gay stars (he, just came up with that) lost to Detroit. Speaking of Detroit, hope they are the real deal this time...

By the way Pronger should have gotten 30 game suspension for stomping just like Chris Simon got.
Anyone see the highlights of the Islanders goal on Toskala from 175 feet out? Crazy play.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJStGMYi6hM for those who haven't seen.

Bad play by Toskala, should have come out to play it. They're on the PP, so there is no chance of it possibly bouncing wide of the net for icing. If you have the chance, you come out and get the puck so that if it does take a bad bounce, you have a chance to recover so that doesn't happen. I'm gonna save that one for the teaching file to show my kids why you come out when you have time.

Wow, wash got OWNED! lool Especially that last save from Haibulin. Kolzig bad night...?

Good job fucks getting the win over the shooting gay stars.

I'm hoping Washington gets the 8 seed and the Pens can get #1. How great would that be to revive the Pens/Caps playoff rivalry with the new blood on each team.

Looking better for the Pens on a number one seed after the destruction (finally) of the devils 7-1... Its like this season played out the exact way last one did, slow start, then catch fire and fight it out with the devils for the division crown, hopefully they will make some waves in the playoffs this year...

With my sixers achieving similar success in the NBA at the moment, it certainly puts me in a better mood after seeing my Jaguars lose badly in the NCAAs
Nice Win Chicago, well other than that bonehead defensive move. Caught it on Yahoo streaming Video. :)
Hopefully they can win 2 out of the next 3 vs. Columbus and St. Louis again. 2 games vs. the Wings will be tough, but maybe Detroit will sit some guys before the playoffs start. Nashville will be a tough one, too.

Nice Win Wash and another goal for the Great 8!

edit: Oh! Nice shot richards! Philies win.

This is great 3 games in a row tonight! Sharks play later tonight!

Nice fucking win Chicago, aww... wtf, you guys have Cheerleaders?! You lose cool points. No wonder they suck. : sigh:

Come on Washington!!

I fucking love when the shooting gay stars and Mighty fucks play each other. Great stuff. lol

As for the Sharks wow, they seemed uninterested during the LA game. lol

Hawks need to win their last 2 games this weekend! My team won our floor hockey game, and I come home to watch the rest of the Hawks, which they won in grand fashion. It was a good night.:D

Well the Hawks have had the Wings number all year. Its the Robert Lang curse :D

I'm still pulling for the Caps to get in.

Holy mackerel. Ovechkin had 2 more goals tonight.:applause: Bring on the playoffs!!! They just have to win their last game vs. Florida on Saturday.

Philly has games vs. NJ and Pittsburgh, so they should lose one of those.

One of the bright spots of this miserable season for the Kings is that they would have the best shot at the #1 pick in the draft (Stamkos). Now even that is in Jeopardy. Last night, they beat SJ and Tampa lost to the Caps. Now they both have 71 points with the Kings having 32 wins to Tampa's 31. :headache:

King's last game is against the Dux and Tampa Bay plays Atlanta.

I doubt this but hopefully they beat the crap out of each other for 7 games so the winner gets tossed in the 2nd round.
Anyone been to the NHL Store in NYC? I'm heading up there in a few weeks, and might check it out if I have some time.
If you do, go over to the display with the shoes near the front window. I believe there's a window up in the top corner of the store where they record the NHL Show for XM. Jump around and act like a fool so that people can see you when they watch on the NHL Network!:D
