Yeah, a PH edition w/ the Hurricane packs would be cool. I would have paid $100 for this game. It's that good. Best on the Xbox IMO.

I would probably buy it again if it came with the Hurricane pcks pre-installed on a PH version of it since I don't have Live yet and probably won't for some time. Got this game at Target when it went to 29.99 (last one two :D).

Target B&M has it at $30. I know someone else said that earlier but I wanted to reiterate that again.

I really wish it would become a platium hit. When do you guys think that will happen?

I don't know... I can't imagine its still selling as well as it was when it was first released. A PH release would create another spike in sales for them, so it SHOULD come pretty soon.
Yeah exactly... NG is due to be added to the PH lineup very soon which means a price drop to $20. Once that happens then it shall be mine. =P~
You would think that, but Halo 1 proves you wrong.
I've decided to wait until the PH version comes out because I bet it will come with the Hurricane Packs.
It is unlikely the Hurricane Pack will be include with PH version. This is because to start the Hurricane Pack you need to sign on to live. Also keep in mind that KOTOR 1 has DLC and that not in the PH version without live.

"Ninja Gaiden" isn't selling as steadily as "Halo" so there is a big difference.

That is true. I would guess they hit PH around the same time.

Could we get some proof of this?

I'm not going track anything down at 1 in the morning, but I can assure you, Ninja Gaiden sales (even at launch) were waaaay below expectations.

The month it was released it was the #1 best selling game on all systems in the country....

The Platinum Hits release of the original Splinter Cell didn't include the extra Live download missions either, so you might be getting your hopes up for nothing where the Hurricane Packs are concerned. Keeping them exclusive to Live subscribers is just another way to get you to pay them more money.

True, but those extra Splinter Cell levels are available OFFline via the Rainbow Six 3 Companion Disc. Tecmo really needs to figure out a way to make the Hurricane Packs available to people without Live (like me). The PH version of Ninja Gaiden would be the perfect way to do it IMO. Either way, the game's been out so long that I'm waiting for the price drop to $20 before I get it.

Name one team ninja game that's platinum besides DOA 3...and it took that one like 2+ years to go platinum. Team Ninja is like buying a Nintendo 1st party title. They usually keep their value for a long, long time.

What else have they done besides Ninja Gaiden and DOA Volleyball?

Perhaps DOA Volleyball didn't sell enough or wasn't considered prestigious enough to go Platinum? It's not exactly the world's greatest game.

The one and only reason i bought Xbox, as did a friend, was because Ninja Gaiden came out.
Barely own much else with it, i had owned a ton but traded em all in because they weren't that great of games.

Ninja Gaiden is an awesome game, best action game i've played in a long time. Paid basically 230 bucks for it ;-) But well worth it.

bahhh..i didnt like it too much..most frustrating game..EVAR!!-_-...i felt my blood pressure skyrocket playing it...and yea, wasnt it $30 at target? gamefly should have it cheaper i believe

I seriously don't see why people like this game so much. The enemies are cheap beyond believe, the camera is terrible; it's a lesson in frustration, that's what Ninja Gaiden is.

But for $20, I'd probably buy it. :D Mostly to say, "I have it, it sucks bawls", but I'd buy it, nevertheless.

But hey, to each his own. I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to have the same opinion as me.

Now I can't account for every single retailer in the country, but at my store "Halo" is still selling at a decent rate while "Ninja Gaiden" if we are lucky might sell one copy a month (if that).

And besides... I can wait for "Ninja Gaiden." $39.99 for it is way too much, but $19.99 is perfect for my CAG ass!

I would like to say to all who believe this, this game is easy. Yea the hardest boss in the game spanned my trying for lke hours but it is possible to do this amazingly and not get obliterated. And I'm not bashing you but I just didn't see what was too hard about the game. Think Prince of Persia hard but without the wasted oppurtunity of a boss.

I wanted to like this game sooo bad. It's beautiful, but I suck at it. One of the most frustrating games I have ever played. I think I spent more time pissed than I did having fun.

YOu don't want a hurricane pack version . It will completely kick your ass since you've never played the game before.

Doesn't the Hurricane Pack also include an improved camera? THAT'S what I'm interested in. :)
