Bringing back light gun games I hope they make it so it works with LCD TV's though. (if possible)
It will. The Wii Remote bases it's movement on the sensor bar, not what's on the screen.
I guess the shells are back after all. I have to wonder, though, if a gun shell is even necessary considering how much the controller itself is gun-like. But if it ends up being as inexpensive as IGN hopes it'll be, I'll probably end up buying it.
I have a feeling in this particular case, it's not so much the gun being necessary, but to make it feel like Duck Hunt.
And they can certainly make the gun necessary by not putting a cursor on the screen where the controller is pointing. Unless you can aim well from your hip, you'd need to sight it.
Are they going to let me paint it orange?
Cuz they better.
It came in orange and in gray.
You're forgetting the more important question: Does the trigger have a loud metallic springy sound still? Or do I have to hack my NES lightgun to use on the Wii?
That's it - with the announcement of a new Super Smash Bros (with such additions as Solid Snake) I am declaring the Wii the official party machine of the next generation.

Carboard box FT ing W!!!
no offense about SBB, but I really want to hear about all the virtual console stuff...
And Relentless, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo has more to say. By having bits and peices known/talked about each day it simply overshadows anything thier competitors do.

agreed. If I don't hearanything about it tonight, I'll be expecting it tommorow.
The cardboard box owns you.
If smash bro's is a launch title I'll consider getting it on day 1...if not I may (and probably will) go for PS3...I honestly still cant decide.

Not if I pre-order...then again...that pre-order PS3 might go to oh..idk..ebay...depends on how I feel about spending that much money at that time.
If for some reason I cant get my hands on one then I may get a Wii...but MGS4 also comes out in 07. Do I want Snake or Snake? Hmmmm....
I'm on to their game now. They plan to have something available after hours to win E3 each day.
Mother 3 today?
Mario Kart tomorrow?
Pikmin?
I still can't believe we're 1.5 years into the DS's lifespan and there's been no talk of Smash Brothers DS. I strongly doubt there'll be anything about it at this E3, but I'm hoping for next.

If they dont announce anything at E3, I'm probably going to import Jump Superstars soon after
