You're a legend! The years of work you put into managing these threads have helped myself, the other regular posters, and countless lurkers who you'll never even know existed. $59.99 for Skyward Sword HD is absurd ... if I recall correctly, it sold relatively poorly compared to Twilight Princess and past LoZ games. It’s the reason there was such a long gap between Zelda releases ... and now Nintendo wants fans to forget that and pay the same price for a remaster as we would pay for Breath of the Wild 2? That’s absurd (but I’ll still pick it up on sale eventually ).

Skyward Sword has eight dungeons, and they're some of the best the series has ever had. Wind Waker & Majora's Mask had half that. The overworld areas in SS are even their own little dungeons, in a way, that are filled with more puzzles and secrets than the typical large Zelda open world. This is a meaty game that's worth the price.

I look forward to Skyward Sword finally getting the respect it deserves now that the admittedly annoying motion controls are optional. Definitely my favorite Zelda game.

It's my least favorite Zelda game of all time. Very linear, no overworld. A lot of backtracking. Just not very fun.

How about some Zelda games that have never been remade before? Particularly A Link to the Past. I've been waiting like 25 years for them to do a 3D remake, and people are crying about WW and TP remakes they just got a few years ago. People have been asking for a Zelda 2 remake for years. Or what about some Oracle remakes like they did Link's Awakening? That would also be new. Even the rumored Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks remakes would be ok because they haven't done those before, either.

Agreed! Would love to see Zelda 2 remade with care. I have always enjoyed 2d games like this and Castlevania/Metroid games on GBA/DS.

Thanks for all the work you've done. I've been checking the thread at least once a day for around a year.

I have enough free time to take over eshop to a smaller extent for at least a couple months along with a couple ideas that I've been slowly working on like a shared document with lowest prices.

As of today, I'm done running deal threads here for the PSN and eShop deals. It's been a great run, but this pandemic has made trying to keep up with these deals more of a drain on my mental health as I gave up too much of my free time to try to get them done the best way I could. I have to do what's best for me and move on to things that bring me more joy and creative fulfillment. These days, Deku Deals and PSN Prices do a better job of keeping up with this stuff than I can ever do, so I'll let somebody else take over these threads and wish them all the best. I'll lock this thread on Sunday so whoever wants to take over can start their own thread.

I appreciate all of the support over the years for the various things I've shared and wish you all the best in these tough times.

According to what I saw on Reddit, yep they’re all gone. [emoji24] Now you just get a bunch of platinum points for completing 15 missions. I’m in the same boat, I’m stuck at 14/15 too. The animal crossing mission gave me false hope lol.

Also, has anyone else claimed the legend of Zelda acrylic panel art? How are you displaying this thing? I guess I was expecting it to be thinner or something. Also, the fabric-y material on the back of it does NOT come off, right?

I just got the zelda acrylic art panel the other day. The back does peel off. I peeled something off the front and back. I currently have it sitting in front of my switch dock. It's a little taller than the dock itself but goes up to about as high as the console when it's in the dock. Looks pretty nice. I may get some double sided tape so it doesn't get knocked over.

Same here. Ah okay, I wasn’t sure about the back, it seemed a bit harder to pull off than the front so I stopped on the edge. I was hoping to frame it, but it’s a bit too chonky for that. Double sided tape is a good idea, I could display it that way with some of my other Zelda stuff.

Just remember, if you peel the back layer off the panel I don’t think there’s anything between the printed image layer and the back ... so if you apply tape after removing that back sheet and then pull it off later, you could potentially damage the actual artwork on the panel. Imo there’s really no need to remove the back, but to each their own.

And if you combine all three of those games on one cartridge, that should have been what Nintendo sold us for Zelda’s 35th anniversary ... It’s worth noting that Nintendo’s strategy around the WiiU almost killed the company and both of those titles were easily found for way less than $60 not that long after release (unlike Switch titles which seem to go over MSRP depending on the game).
