Picked up the two Zelda Oracles and Boxboy. I almost didn't get the Zeldas because I already own (and have yet to finish) Ocarina and Majora, but I'm having fun with these old school Zeldas, which I missed the first time around due to their arrival on a system that was at the end of its lifespan.

Well next time around don't pass it up. Minish Cap is an excellent game with a very well designed world. I loved every second of playing that back in the day on GBA. I just wish it was portable in digital form for the 3DS.

I was never able to transfer my Wii over to my Wii U. It would crash mid transfer. Is there a way to still get the cheap upgrade price for ALTTP? I guess I'll try the transfer again today.

Keep trying. I did my Wii to Wii U transfer two and a half years ago and had an issue as well. Got it to go through the second time though, and it was smooth sailing after that. Loved that Pikmin animation throughout!

So I'm torn on the MH Generations Demo. I tried my Insect Glaive and it seems very unresponsive with the new setup. Maybe that's lack of directions but I used to be able to shoot out my bug and retrieve them quickly. Now, half the time I press R+(Y?) he may go out, or he may just chill near me.

So then I switched over to that new Axe/Sword&Shield Combo and it felt very clunky. I dunno, something I'm missing when they redid things maybe but I can see this getting punishing. That new Owl boss is a hoot to fight (I love that joke).

Did you try it with all 4 styles? I initially tried the charge blade and was annoyed that my combo linker was not able to be used at the same time, but it was only in 1 of the styles that it was like that (ironically in the one that "lets you go ham").

And every weapon in MH is clunky, lol. I personally love the charge blade (which I think is the axe/sword and shield combo you mentioned), since it covers my problem with the hammer (my previous main weapon). Well next time around don't pass it up. Minish Cap is an excellent game with a very well designed world. I loved every second of playing that back in the day on GBA. I just wish it was portable in digital form for the 3DS.

Did you try it with all 4 styles? I initially tried the charge blade and was annoyed that my combo linker was not able to be used at the same time, but it was only in 1 of the styles that it was like that (ironically in the one that "lets you go ham").

I didn't think you were "n00bing out"

I thought you might have had a similar reaction to me is all. I personally didn't use the IG, but my understanding was it was pretty ridiculous, so I'm not surprised they nerfed it.

I couldn't get used to the 2H and lances. I have two friends that are each great with those, so I just leave it to them, haha. I sometimes miss my hammer, especially those sweet, sweet KOs.

This is very welcome news; I've already poured many hours into the game on my Vita, but this is looking to be one of my top eshop games.

I just ordered Devil Survivor off of AWD a couple of days ago because I missed the last sale and was leaning towards a physical copy, anyway. Not sure if I would have grabbed it digitally if I'd known it was going to be on sale again so soon, but it's still amusing that it dropped back down in price right after I bit the bullet. I guess the extra $6 I paid is worth a physical copy (that's what I'll tell myself to feel better, at least).

So Devil's Third is getting a price drop to $30 today. Physically and Digitally.

As well they announced that they are only keeping the MP servers up through the end of the year.

All accounts are that the SP is a hot mess but the MP was fun. Might be worth $30 to tool around the sp and get 6 months of multiplayer.

No final word if the ftp pc version of the MP is coming stateside even though Itagaki is still talking sbout it.

I had always wanted to try the MP but had no desire to pay $60 or more for the game for a SP I couldn't care less about. Kind of a shame that they didn't just abandon the SP game and went all in on the MP.

Tried the demo for Parking Star 3D and didn't enjoy it.  That said, I noticed Star Sky 2 in the release list.  I LOVED the first one on PC... will have to see what the PC version costs whenever steam stops being so crazy from the summer sale starting.  EDIT: managed to get to the page for Star Sky 2 on Steam... $2 on sale.  I will definitely have to get that and make time to play it.

That the Vita has no games...so little that Sony didn't even mention it at their E3 presser AT ALL.

I only buy eShop games. I'm done with discs and cartridges. Physical media is dead.
