Good timing on Sega 3D Classics sale since I'm getting a 3DS next week.

For anyone who has played these which ones do you think benefit the most in 3D?
I definitely plan to get Outrun and Super Hang On but the rest of those I have on PS3.

Oh and is there any rhyme or reason to why some games offer coins and others don't?

Well, most of the 3D games from the time used that special scaling hardware in the arcades, so all of those benefit greatly, as now they appear as the developers probably hoped they would have at the time, but was held back by the limitations of the time.

I don't know if this one's on sale, but Galaxy Force II is really about the best of the bunch when it comes to the 3D. Outrun and Space Harrier are my personal top 2, as they have great gameplay along with the added 3D effects, but GF2 is really a sight to see in 3D.

Stella Glow has a strong demo. If it spent a bit less time on story/waifu chatter and more on the gameplay I'd be all in, but it looks like a solid experience all the same. Word of mouth is pretty positive.

Same story here, but I bought it on the eshop yesterday for $30. Maybe you don't like digital copies.

I think the Atlus strategy is different in the physical realm, because they bring over niche games and don't sell a ton. So they often include collectibles and charge a higher price. Digitally, they put things on sale regularly, cheaper each time, until they hit rock bottom. Presumably they sell quite a bit digitally.

I'm with both nightc1 and Jesse_Dylan. I bought Stella Glow digitally during this sale. The demo was just so great that I had to have the game. This one flew completely over my radar, so I'm glad it gets attention through Atlus sales. Will it be cheaper digitally before I play it? Most likely.

They also said, because the 3DS version includes both 2D and 3D modes, they're essentially making 4 different versions of the same game.

DQ 11 is supposed to be full fledged console big RPG. 3DS version will probably use art style similar to DQ8 in order for it to be on handheld
