Thanks for the feedback. I choose those games since they are the Wii U versions and not 3DS since I don't own one.

Arika made Tetris The Grandmaster. They're pretty good at puzzle games and have been worthy bearers of the Dr. Mario brand since the Wii. You can't go wrong with either Dr. L or the 3DS one. Enjoy.

Don't know who that is, but watched some of that review. It's odd he says how the 3D isn't good or whatever and that the game looks great in 2D... but I think the actual quality of the 3D was excellent and a major selling point for me (and I'm not even a fan of 3D). In any event, I'm glad to have a new/sealed copy of this game.

Any good ideas on how to find a physical copy of Stella Glow for cheap? I tried the demo and I am hooked!

Cheap? Chances aren't good. It was $50 new at release. You may still find it for that at GS... or $40 used. The best price I saw was for the Walmart copies and it was $36.something ... but is sold out online. If you could find it in stores, that would be the cheapest price for a new copy. You could also try other game shops like Replays... but beyond that, ebay... though I'm not sure if the prices there are any better. This may be a case of GS actually being the best option. Nicely the store I went to had listed online that they had a copy and it wasn't on the shelf all gutted. So that was a really great sign that they would not only have one but it would be sealed.

Outside of that, suck it up and pay the $30 while it's still on sale for the digital version. Me, I couldn't do that. I'd rather buy a used copy for $40 versus a digital copy for $30... and loved the game enough to buckle and pay full retail.

Stella Glow cheapest physical was $29.99 pre GCU I believe during some Best Buy sale. I told everyone to get it...very good swan song for that company. Only peeve is the limited interactions with your party members for free time the first play through. That artificially limited interactions with characters you got later in the game. Still a very fun game.

I own it, but haven't really played it yet, but from what I've heard, it's a great 3DS game, and from what I've seen, it's worth $5 for the production values alone. It's been referred to as a professor Layton style rhythm game, as it has animated sections, and voice over work.

I got it for my son during the Humble Bundle package, and just so you know, it took ages to download, so don't expect the normal few minute time that most e-shop games can be downloaded in.

EDIT: BTW, my son played it non-stop for several days until he finished it, and he hardly ever plays games to completion.

Hell yeah! I couldn't decide whether that Nintendo humble indie bundle was worth it, but now I'm glad I didn't purchase. I didn't think it'd hit $5. I remember seeing the physical on sale for $12 one winter on Amazon but I didn't purchase thinking it'd never be rare.

Yeah, I happened to see it mentioned that is was getting scarce awhile ago, so I decided to look for a copy. At the time, I think Fry's was the only place that showed copies, and I was lucky enough to get it.

Now, you have to keep an eye out for a used copy at GS and hope it's complete if and when it ever shows up.

I bought it just now from eShop so I can save the code for a friend in case the game was any good, and it easily stands with the best of the music games genre. Sega still knows how to make games. Yeah, that's what's so sad about games like this in the industry. Where SEGA mostly keeps making garbage Sonic titles, when they do something different like RT, and it's actually well received, it mostly didn't sale great, and they are not likely to ever make another one.

Growing up, I always saw great titles like this, as so many developers often made creative games and stepped out of their comfort zones, even when big sales weren't likely. Now, this type of game happens less and less, so when the chance is there, everyone should pick it up games like this and show support.

I played these games a lot back on the SNES. SF2 Turbo if you want the more limited SF2 experience. Super if you want the expanded roster with Cammy and stuff. Go with which ever version you want. Super will have more overall content.... but SF2T to me is the one I would personally have more nostalgia playing (due to the Arcade and SNES versions).

3 more characters to play as, minigames, there's quite a bit of extra content added in. My only Q would be about the controls since on DS you used the touch screen for analog movement. But content wise, DS version is awesome. It's even better than the Super Mario Advance series treatment to the classics (which those were really well done).

SFII Turbo is a great game, but Super SFII is the most robust of the original games. It introduced some extra stuff (and characters) while still feeling mostly like classic SF2.

I played a TON of SFA2 on the SNES back in the day. It's not a great port compared to the PSX because it really pushed the hardware and has load times before every fight (which are preserved on the VC, I hear) but it's still a good game.

That depends? For me, SF2T got the most play over the years, and while SSF2 is a good game, it's not the turbo edition, which was about the best game in the series.

SF2A is probably the most technically impressive, as it uses a DSP chip I believe and even though it isn't perfect as stated above, It's really an achievement for the SNES.

All 3 games are great, and it really comes down to preference. If your into the Alpha series, go in that direction. SF2T was about the best and most balanced game. SSF2 was good, but the Turbo edition was best, but that was never offered on the SNES. So I guess SF2T gets my vote.

Those Hori screen protectors are excellent and easy to put on. Mine only got one bubble or so near the end....pretty good. I also like the plastic case for around the 3DS....it helps if you drop your 3DS, which has happened before.
