I wish I knew when Switch my Nintendo rewards was going live. I'm sitting on a ton of coins and have usually been "penalized" for being such a good customer because often times I already owned what they were discounting. Since this is a brand new system I'm trying to hold off on buying a ton of games at once so
1. I can possibly get some digital discounts
2. I'm not still stuck with a bunch of coins I can't spend

I saw them pretty high on that list from the guy that reviews Type C cables, but the notches inside of the C part seem to be off compared to the Switch, felt like it was gonna break trying to jam it in.

So I just got a 3DS... Fire Emblem Heroes left me with a hankerin for actual brutality in a game, plus I havnt played an FE since Shadow Dragon

Well I have Awakening (loving it so far) and Pokémon Y (havnt even played it. I'm gonna flip it I believe) ... can anyone recommend any titles that are affordable or on sale at the moment? I'm bummed I missed the Shovel Knight sale...

Highly recommend Luigi's Mansion, OoT3D, and DKCR3D (if you never played it on the Wii)

If you're into puzzle platformers, the Boxboy series is great and only $5 each for a good amount of content to them.

The Picross e series and Picross 3D Round 2 are also great if you're into the Picross games. The Picross e games don't ever go on sale, so those are good to pickup whenever you need another hit of Picross action.

Nintendo games rarely go on sale for more than 33% off, so that's about as good of a discount as they'll ever get unless they reach the Nintendo Selects line and get a price drop.

We've never had any of the games go on sale during the timeframe that the My Nintendo discounts lasted, so there has been no precedence for that to happen.

Time to go to Best Buy and Fry's. Need a C to A cable for my car charger and power bank

Not the cheapest solution but the Pro Controller has a Nintendo C to A cable that comes with it. I'll see if it charges the machine off my power bank when I get home.

Woops, sorry, missed this. Thanks. I should have specified, I have been sucked into preferring digital downloads. Especially with the Wii U going bye-bye, I definitely don't want to have game boxes to cart around with me when I move. I know it's silly. I'm good with paying $10 extra for the digital download.

I'm thinking I'd rather do that than add any padding to the inside rails (I ordered a tempered glass screen protector), but I'm a nervous fella when it comes to new hardware.

When I look in the US eShop it shows as "Purchased" and won't let me buy it.

Looking at My Nintendo now and it netted me 20 gold coins as well. So their gold coin rate is better as well.

EDIT: Never mind on the "better" rate. It's the same. I didn't notice that there are different values for packaged vs. downloaded games.
