Danganronpa 1 for $2.99 stands out so far. Will use up some gold coins on that.

Also Root Letter: Last Answer is a good VN very much worth $2.99

Paradise Killer is on sale for $7.99.  It's a investigative open-world adventure game with a Suda51-inspired aesthetic. You collect clues to unravel the murder plot and build a case against whomever you find guilty.  I beat it this weekend and really enjoyed it.

Of course P5 Royal would go on sale for $45 a week and a half after I caved and bought it assuming it wouldn't get a BF sale.

I've got 100+ hours already, and I want to try to beat it and do NG+ before P4 Golden comes out, so no biggie, but damn.

Finally got Mario Party Superstars for cheap digitally, just in time for the last of the 3 original games to be on Switch Online. :bouncy:

That said, I still think Goldeneye is a surprise December drop.

Looks interesting. I also had my eye on In Other Waters. Might hold off on that though; it goes on sale frequently and steadily drops in price.

So the Capcom Arcade Collection 2 bundle is on sale for $29.99... I know this collection has overlap with the Capcom Fighters Collection, but am I right in thinking that there was/is some mild discount for owners of one when buying the other?

I thought I remember reading this when the two were released, but now I can't find any information about it...

I ordered an OLED Switch from Dell this week. It came with $20 back in Dell Rewards and $20 back in PayPal rewards, and I had 5% cash back on my credit card for orders placed on Dell.

I couldn’t find anything else close to that good on a red and blue OLED Switch before I ordered on Tuesday. I doubt anything will pop up for the OLEDs since they’re offering their old reliable Mario Kart 8 bundle again.

Has anyone seen any deals on a Switch this BF?
Target will be having 10% off their GCs 12/3&12/4. You can pay with a cash back credit card to get more back (Chase freedom cards have 5% back on PayPal purchases this quarter and you can pay for Target purchases with PayPal). You can use the discounted GC toward an Oled if that’s what you want.

If anyone actually wants the Scarlet/Violet Pokemon double pack, my Costco had them for $99.99.  They were in the Christmas toy section of the warehouse.

What's the cheapest I can get NSO for?

It's an absolute garbage service but I have some friends with the new pokemon, so might bite the bullet if I can find a deal

I don't think there are any deals on the service lately -- your only discount would be via discounted eShop credit.

For $20 you can get a one person account for a year, plus the NES and SNES games.

For $35, you can get 8 accounts for a family plan. Some folks will rent/sell the extra spaces out, so that would come out to less than $5 for the year.

The N64 "expansion" pack costs more than double the standard, so...

Appreciate the answer

I'll keep an eye out

It's such an immensely shit service I can't pay 20$ for a year of it.

10$ is enough to make me feel like I was taken advantage of.

I'll keep an eye for any interesting family plan stuff. Thanks

New to switch question. A pair of joycons is 80. Do they ever go on sale? What's a good price?

(For example, Xbox controllers are 60, but can be found for ~40 sometimes)

Thanks

nintendo doesnt really do sales

i think walmart used to have them for 70 but i dont think they do anymore

avoid buying used due to drift issues

https://www.dekudeals.com/items/joy-con-l-r-neon-red-neon-blue

you can see here there hasnt been jack this year

best kind of price ive seen on a new pair is costco clearing them out for 50 bucks

my advice is pick up a pro controller and dont look back

Thanks for the info. I ordered a set from Amazon warehouse ($70-20%). Like new so we'll see how that goes.

If I play more, I'd probably get 5he adapter to use my Xbox controller.

Right now Meijer might be a good place if you have one nearby, with their Santa bucks that'd knock $15 off of the price, I believe.

Gamestop sometimes puts their used joycons on sale. Last December they were $15 for the left and $22 for the right

And don't forget Nintendo still repairs joycons for free, so even if you get a bad one you could go the repair route.

The cheapest I've gotten my Joycons for are on Adorama on daily deals. They happen every few months here and there at random, but they drop them down to $55-$60 ish and it's where I got my neon red and blue this year for $55.

They rarely go on sale. You can get the hori ones that work better, fit hands more comfortably and are 20-30 cheaper. I got a pair and quite like them.

Another option is the non wireless joycons. Those are super cheap but can only be used attached to the system in handheld mode. I got a loz one from target for 8 bucks iirc.
