CAGiversary!
I called 1-800-255-3700 and spoke with a representative and told him that Kid Icarus: Uprising's box has the "Circle Pad Pro Compatible" branding on it, but there is absolutely no mention on how to set it up in the instruction manual or in the 'Options' menu in the game.
He thoroughly looked through all of his paperwork on his end and found practically nothing, except for a little mention that the game has an alternative control scheme for lefties. He asked me if I had another game that was compatible with the accessory and to try it out and tell him what shows up, so I used my demo of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and told him that it specifically has a row in 'Options' dedicated to Circle Pad Pro functionality, and after enabling it results in a calibration screen; none of which are in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
After he looked over his notes again, he came to the conclusion that Nintendo would have to update the game, and make sure that Kid Icarus: Uprising has the advertised features, so he wrote up a report about his findings and had it sent to the debug crew and told me that it will definitely be looked into.
Hopefully they actually do something about it. I'm shocked that the game is capable of being updated, despite Nintendo's stance on that sort of thing.
