If you REALLY wanted to buy one, the demo is included as a part of the Humble Bundle's E3 2016 Digital Ticket as a part of the $4 tier. The demo will be released in July but for now is exclusive for recipients of the email and for those who buy the bundle.

I could be wrong but I think that is no longer possible to gift on the Wii.
