You can't sell demos, and trying to sell free codes is just pathetic, especially when you can still get them right nowHave: Pokemon OR/AS demo code, X/Y Diancie code (GamePlanet/NA)
Want: PayPal/Amazon GC
Pokemon demo is acceptable to sell, said by mods themselves. You can't sell demos, and trying to sell free codes is just pathetic, especially when you can still get them right now
yet again, same problem that happened last time with the Super Smash Bros codesPokemon demo is acceptable to sell, said by mods themselves.
PMed youI've got 2 $20 Wii Shop points card for the original Wii Shop (works on original Wii, DS Lite). These do not work on the 3DS or Wii U shops. Asking $10 each for the codes, or $12 each if you want me to send the physical cards through the mail.
I will also consider trades.
Why not add Demos to the list? I'm sure marketing specialists at EA see threads like these and enjoy the notion that gamers are willing to shell out funds for an unfinished/incomplete product. Are not demos and betas similar in nature? Granted betas are used to test servers and mechanics, and demos essentially are there to garner interest in the title by letting gamers test it out.yet again, same problem that happened last time with the Super Smash Bros codes
@xGwiZ96x: Betas =/= Demos, Just alphas and betas are banned from CAG
And to add fuel, there has never been an official demo directly from the creators/developers/publishers with a price tag (that wasn't an accident) Selling demos is unethical, demos, of any kind, are meant to be free for the consumer to test out a product and build their interest from there, you shouldn't shell out a percentage of the price of the actual product to test it outWhy not add Demos to the list? I just find it backwards to pay for these. I'm sure some will say, "Well don't buy it!", and thats right I won't but we (as a community) need to stop this practice.
EDIT: kyuby, I'm not calling you out or anything. Just using your quote.
I'm guessing you didn't read several posts before yours talking about not allowing those demo to be traded/sold here.Have new pokemon special omega Ruby sapphire early demo code. Transfers to full game.
Want only $2.50 Amazon
On the contrary..demos are allowed, alphas/betas arent, said by mods themselves.I'm guessing you didn't read several posts before yours talking about not allowing those demo to be traded/sold here.
Nobody said demos weren't allowed.I'm guessing you didn't read several posts before yours talking about not allowing those demo to be traded/sold here.
It was discussion, not official. So, I was wrong on that. However, it's not like it's hard to come by those codes. I was sent 8 of them. Maybe I should have tried to cash in on them too.On the contrary..demos are allowed, alphas/betas arent, said by mods themselves.
Yes.so are we allowed to trade demo codes? I also have the Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo and want to trade it
Which is very unethicalYes.
That's your opinion, and I respect it, but I think you should just let people do their thing. Does it affect anyone? I don't think so. If you think its unethical and just wrong, just ignore the post and move on. It's still ''legal'' in CAG to sell those so until they change that ''rule'', everyone is gonna have to accept the fact.Which is very unethical
Now this is just patheticI have a shiny gengar for $2 amazon
People have more demo codes than they do beta codes, so basically all of the incessant whining you kids do to get something that might cost a few bucks in exchange for something you got for free will make it so demo codes are never banned. It's not like you could just get a job and make the sales equivalent of 4 Shiny Gengars per hour for roughly 32 hours per week. We won't mention how betas and demos are both prototypes of games and are exactly the same thing. That's your opinion, and I respect it, but I think you should just let people do their thing.
