They drop, but I don't remember them dropping super quickly. Either way, if you enjoy the games, they have a ton of content and can easily be worth the launch price.

On my vita I'm seeing a $15 off a $100 purchase sale going on, not seeing it on the ps4 yet, is this new or old?

I don't remember 4 but D2 did have some good sales a few months in and was like $15 at Gamefly before long. I really want it but know I'm not playing it anytime soon so I'm going to try to wait.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, October's PS+ free games are now live. This month on PSN is much better (for me) than XBL Gold. All of the freebies, except Super Meat Boy and Chariot (both of which i already have on other consoles) are things that I've considered buying. I'm really looking forward to Broken Age.

Edit: I hadn't seen Quagmilion's post.

Tales from the Borderlands Ep 1 is free on PS4 (it's also free on x360 and xone right now)

Shows up as a free demo on PS3.  Not sure if that's the same thing.

Keep in mind for a number of the PS+ titles, you'll need to add multiple versions to cart.

If you click on the PS Plus Free Games section on the website, the only ones that are crossbuy are the three at the very bottom (going by the default order).

Also, another free DLC for Persona 4 Dance Dance Dance is out.

Upon looking over my receipts, the PS+ games you have to check out with separately are:

Broken Age

Kickbeat

Everything else is seemingly fine.

Edit:

No matter how many times you buy the Onigiri PS+ pack, it doesn't show up as "Purchased" on the PSN site. Not sure if there's any benefit to buying the DLC repeatedly, but there you go.

Sales seem even more lackluster this week than last week. What a coincidence that Rock Band comes out this week with its DLC being full price again. What an even further coincidence that a spend $100, get $15 back promo just started and lasts all month past the release of Guitar Hero Live. So many coincidences.

So is it safe to say that Thomas Was Alone is the RISK Factions of PSN?

ANyone that has played both Senran Kagura Shinovi (VITA) and DMC Definitive (PS4).  Which would be more worth a purchase?  Kagura is about $20 and DMC is $10

Edit: I also have the PS+ version of DMC on Ps3; never played tho.

Wait. You're seriously suggesting/implying that Sony and Harmonix somehow colluded to release DLC before some completely unrelated promotion started?

Like, seriously? It doesn't even make sense on it's face. Sony doesn't care what you buy, it just wants you to spend money (like $100). Buy avatars, buy Rock Band, buy Uncharted Collection... whatever. And Harmonix doesn't care if Sony has some $15 back promotion that doesn't affect them, since they get their cut either way.

I mean, this conspiracy you're suggesting doesn't even make a lick of sense.

DmC Definitive is $10? That's a heck of a deal.

Having played every Senran that isn't the cooking rhythm game (No Vita space ;_; ) I am of the opinion that there are no good Senran games.

Shinovi Versus is playable. If you like boobies+musou type nonsense and your expectations are low, by all means, go for it. But it's not what I would call a good game.

DmC Defininitive requires certain expectations because the plot is atrocious but the core combat is extremely fun, even if it is miles away from classic DMC, or modern DMC for that matter.

Since DMC4:SE still has you playing DMC4, I would say DmC:DE fixes more about DmC than DMC4:SE fixes about DMC4.

Finally made it through all the RB4 DLC to find my past purchases.  Good grief, what a chore since you can only do 10 at a time!  Glad they are keeping our investment intact, but those logistics SUCK.  Should have had an easy button to just go grab them all from purchase history or something.  Now just need a deal on the new game.  I'm ready to rock.

Let me first say what an awesome game Super Meat Boy is and it is about damn time it came to Playstation. Let me also say that the new sound track for the game (thus far) is terrible compared to the original. Why would the game developers not include the original soundtrack as an option instead of making me feel like I am stuck in the Deep South listening to that infernal banjo riff over and over again.
