Glad I caught the thread about Tales from the Borderlands EP 1 going free on the X1 and 360.  They are always good for a quick achievement to keep that streak going. Closing in on 200 days.  I am going to finally install Windows 10 on my laptop so I can keep the streak going while I am at a conference in Chicago.  Yeah it is a bit of an obsession now.

FYI: The obsession is a hard one to ditch. My original goal was 90 days... I hit 2 years (730 days) this past Saturday...

 
I'm guessing from the lack of Transformers comments that everybody playing are too busy having fun to post. Was going to rent from Redbox, but didn't want to miss Rock Band 4 delivery (still waiting).

Metal Gear Online has the problem of host quitting. If host quits, everything that happened in the match is thrown out the window. One match I was the last person on my team and managed to take out their entire team solo. One of them must have been the host and I got none of that experience. That's my only complaint so far. Everything feels really smooth online and haven't noticed even a hint of lag yet.

Only one review on MC so far and it's Destructoid at 85 so it may not be too bad. Weird that Activision would have held back review codes then.

I think the cars you don't have the DLC for say "DLC" or something similar, at least in the older games (Forza 4 & Horizon). If you can buy a car for in-game credits, that should mean it's available. For Forza 5, Horizon 2, and Forza 6, if you have the DLC for the cars, the car will show up as "Free" (for the first purchase of each car you have DLC for).

Having said that, I think the cars you don't have DLC for in Forza 4 are no longer visible (per a prior post, not my personal experience).

With the American Muscle Car Pack - it was included with another DLC code - I think the LE or VIP code for Forza 4 (?).

I watched a dev stream of Battlefront yesterday, looked pretty good. I'm going into the beta optimistic.

I obtained the pc version of Transformers, I look forward to giving it a try. Nerdist was streaming it today, looked good.

I think you're right; based on my activity tonight if I can see the car then it's available. So, a HUGE THANKS to the CAG community who kept posting those free cars for each of the Forza 4 car packs. I bought the season's pass only recently, and as I said earlier had never even booted the game up, but I managed to find 5 of the 6 season pass car packs in my download history, only missing the Alpinestars one.

This really saved my bacon as far as the season's pass is concerned. I also managed to get and install the Porsche Expansion Pack from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Forza-Motorsport-Porsche-Expansion-Digital/dp/B00MNKYYOI It's full price, but hey, late to the party.

I have a ton of XBL trial codes sitting around and my Gold runs out in 7 days.  If I use those before one of my year cards I won't be able to grab any of the GWG stuff, right?

Did PC get battlefront beta first, is that why there are twitch streams? All the gameplay I've seen looks super tight, including a couple multiplayer showings at cons. I don't know about PC, but I know there were a bunch of codes given away for PS4 on twitter through EA and some others.

 
Seriously, Where the hell is Game of Thrones episode 6? This is ridiculous. Telltale breaks their timetable every year. Episode 5 came out in July!

I think gold trials work on X1, but not on 360.

November is the first month with BC GWG games on 360 so I wouldn't miss them if you can

Good news is you'll probably like the changes. The changelog includes a lot of if not almost all of the main issues with the game from drivatars gone wild to audio problems. And they list a free car in the update, but it's also pictured in the new car pack screenshots so I'm guessing it's really just the free car in the first car pack.

The way it looks to me is if you have the DLC car it shows up in the marketplace available to buy (getting the DLC car free in the marketplace started in a later game), if you don't it doesn't show up. The free DLC cars for the last five packs (the ones not included in the season pass) are still in my marketplace since I downloaded the free cars for each one. The other cars from those packs are not and if you try to purchase them in the auction house you get a message that they are unavailable to you. You must have gotten the AM car pack somewhere in order to have it available. I remember it was included in a few different promos including the racing goty version and preorders I believe.

I don't see how people get that far along. However, I did get an achievement after midnight the morning before my CERVICAL SPINE FUSION and then the next couple days on my windows phone while still recovering in the hospital. And then the wife and I were catching up on the end of last season's Person of Interest and I realized too late that the extra episode we watched ended after midnight and my 22 day streak is over...

As someone else stated trials only get you Xbone GWGs, but didn't someone post that one month cards didn't work for that anymore, or am I imagining that? Also, trials don't stack do they? How long are the trials you have?

Any packs you purchased may still be downloaded, however, the season pass works differently. Once you get the SP, the packs become free and you then download them individually. If you have not already done so, then at this point you are out of luck unless T10 changes how it works. I contacted @XboxSupport and they recommend people call or chat about that issue, but only a few people I passed this on to have posted their outcomes and they both stated they were told they were out of luck and did not get refunds.

Not sure about FH2, but when I preordered FM6, the DLC showed up when I chose manage game on FM6. I'm guessing for you it will show up after it downloads. Are you in the preview program? There were some issues with DLC for those who opted into the new dashboard program. Not sure if those have been fixed yet as I did not opt in.

Sorting through my stack of misc codes that I haven't used, I found the one for the September Pennzoil car pack, and the pre-order bonus Dodge Challenger SRT8 392.

When all was said and done, I think I have most of the DLC content apart from the Alpinestars pack, and 4 of the $7 car packs. Not bad for a game that's been pulled from the Marketplace!

Just to be clear, you had downloaded the free cars some time ago. You bought the season pass. You went into your download history and the free cars were listed as the car packs? You redownloaded the free car/car packs and that got you all the cars from those packs? If that worked, that may help a lot of people and you found something noone else has yet. Also, great find on the Porsche Pack on Amazon. I searched for anything else FM4 related and they sell the Season Pass on there, too. Put a review up to warn people away. I never received my preorder bonus Horizon Challenger from Best Buy. They said they would look into it and then said too bad.

As someone else stated trials only get you Xbone GWGs, but didn't someone post that one month cards didn't work for that anymore, or am I imagining that? Also, trials don't stack do they? How long are the trials you have?

2-14 days. Figured I would just chain them like I've done in the past.

What else did you expect from a full-priced spinoff of a game that only came out a few months ago?

No reason it couldn't have been DLC/expansion or give some sort of loyalty discount for owning the original. What a cashgrab.

Edit: Not to mention they released several DLCs in between the release of the original and this spin-off.

Not a bad idea to get it now in case the price does change. I'm guessing this one is permanent like The Walking Dead (1&2) and The Wolf Among Us. It appears to be free on PS3, PS4, Android, and iOS as well. Game of Thrones was only free on Xbox One and Xbox 360 at that time.

A metric ton of legacy Rock Band DLC is half off including packs and albums.

My dashboard returned to the way it used to be. No more gray games, original cover art, and quitting games works on the first try.  OniGirl even reverted back to Japanese text for the title...
