No longer working

So is it episode one only or the full game?

Download says 6.59 GB so I'm assuming its either the full game or just episode one with some kind of blocker in it.
 
I was able to add it to my queue on xbox.com but I have never downloaded episode 1. I did play the full Fable II on that account though.

Awesome, thx op. I noticed other sites are reporting this too. Logged into marketplace and went to my download/purchase history and the fable2 was now 6gb. Added to my que and started the download. Awesome
 
What does it mean if you have downloaded episode 1 prior? I didn't download any episode 1 so does that mean the fable 2 download wont work?

I downloaded this earlier but I don't know if I am ever going to play it. Manged to get my brother to add it to his queue but he hasn't downloaded it yet.

That link works for me, but I just get this message: "This item is not available for purchase from Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Web."

Seems to be if you've played the game before then you get it for free. I never got episode one and I got the download. My friend was saying he wanted me to help with the achievements before after I had traded the game in. Free is pretty cool.

It doesn't matter because the OP is wrong. I've never downloaded anything Fable II-related. I certainly don't think they're handing out the game to people who have downloaded the free demo. It's just an error. You can tell it's an error because MS is lying about it.

Edit: I just noticed it's got the See the Future DLC, too. Holy shit Microsoft, make this mistake more often.
 
I started downloading at 5 PM. It's midnight now, and still chugging away. I don't think I'd want to download full games very often. Well, unless they're free of course ;-).

It seems that it works and stops working from time to time. This has been posted multiple times here and over at SD and works and stops working and works again randomly.

I never downloaded Episode I and I got the free one (I also 1000'd the game 2 years ago... but I cant refuse free) - and the DLCs have "free" packs which just enable co-op gameplay with someone who bought it. Like the Dead Rising 2 packs.

For the record the digital version does NOT contain the DLC. Go buy the Platinum Hits if you want that...
 
I started downloading earlier when it was free. It was taking forever so I cancelled it. Tried to download it again but now I gotta pay. Oh well.

Edit: I guess I can just resume downloading through the website.
 
^^^^^^^^ same for me. I guess if you get a link to the demo even if you haven't ever downloaded the game before it would work. Also looks like they removed the demo from the download options if you just look up the game itself, so it glitches lol.

I have it downloaded but I also feel no need to play it. Fable is very action more than RPG to me so I don't think I would care for it.
