This was in pittsburgh. Basically bunch of originally 14-30 dollar games for 60% off (clearance?) It was some supposed "BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL EVENT" but no blue lights involved; also included LOTS of other items (tags beneath the shelves).

Didn't see what gba games were on sale but I assume they were 60% of 15-20 so they'd be 6 or 8 dollars.

Decent selection sat/sun 1/16-1/17 only.

Had to run some errands but saw this dela on fatwallet. Just came back from the K-mart across the street on the way home.

Got the Wavebird Metroid bundle for $16.
The Wavebird/Marip Party Bundle was still $70. :(

Also picked up Suikoden III for $12.

Noticed in the $12 pile were games like Manhunt, Alias, Counter Strike, Crimson Skies, and a lot more including Mechassult.

They also had an $8 pile but it was Bleh.

They had Boktai for $6 and Mega Man for $12 for the GBA.

I also saw an 80 GB External WD Hard Drive for $60.

My K-Mart has a ton of the Wavebird Metorid Bundles. That's at the Governer's Square Mall in Newark, DE.

I only got one wavebirs. I'm going to have to consider getting another tomorrow morning.
 
I'm gonna head out early tomorrow to see what I can find. Good luck to everyone out there, maybe someone will find something rare/valuable :wink:

So exaclty how does this sale go. Do these prices only come if you scan the games or are they already labeled with these prices? Are they in bins in the aisle or are the still in the case?

The good thing for us is that Kmart employees don't seem to be pulling all the titles that are for sale, so it looks like there's a lot mixed in with the regular stock that is marked down in the computer, but not marked for reduced sale. It certainly appears this isn't a YMMV type deal, because I managed, in PA, to find the Wavebirds for the same $15.99 everyone else has.

There was a tiny plastic crate (like one of those little stackable ones that's about half the size of a milk crate) on the counter that had a bunch of lame games (like Action Bass for PS and The Hobbilt for PS2 and I think NHL Hitz for Xbox), but it certainly appears that there's more on sale than what most stores are indicating (like the Wavebird bundle, which in my local Kmart was on the bottom of the regular locked video game case against the wall).

That's why I'd love to see a complete list. I just wish I didn't have to bother an employee to look up titles, because if the games were all out in the open, I'd be grabbing and scanning everything I could get my hands on (kind of like at the start of the big TRU green tag videogame markdown).
 
They were all in 2 tupperware bins on top of the electronics counter with a 60% off sign.

Max, if you would PLEASE grab me a copy of Suikoden III if you go back, I would GREATLY appreciate it, I'm going to K-Mart in a few hours, but the one I went to earlier was all out so this one probably will be too.

Would if I could, but it was the last one. Funnily enough, it was the front-most game in the tupperware thing, so I could see it from 20 feet away. I almost ran up to the counter in disbelief.

All of the other games had tons more copies, but i think i got the last Non-PH Oddworld and Mech Assault.

Damn I'm starting to get worried my Kmart will be out by the time I get there tomorrow. Anyone been to the Moorestown, NJ Kmart yet? Is it cleaned out yet?
 
went by my local k-mart in santa rosa, ca looking to buy the metroid prime/wavebird bundle i saw there a couple weeks back, but they were sold out.

i did manage to pick up viewtiful joe for ps2 ($8, last copy), megaman zero 3 ($12, three copies left) and mario party-e ($4, one [unsealed] copy left).

also in the 60% off bin was midway arcade treasures for xbox (marked $20, so likely $8), project gotham racing 2, a bunch of gba video carts, and a bunch of sports games for all 3 consoles...

My Kmart is ran like shit, but they do have Suikoden III and Waverace in stock. I might have to check this out.. I need a pack of smokes anyways, it'll be convenient
 
I drove past mine today and saw the sign. God, I hate K-mart, but I didn't want to miss out on a good deal either. I go there maybe, once a year, so I guess I was due for a trip. My K-mart (Middleburg Heights) had crap for their storewide clearance, but they had a couple decent games on sale. There was a list of games sitting on the counter with some titles blacked out. I'm assuming it was the master list, so if you go, maybe you could ask the employees to look at it...? I remember seeing F14 Tomcat GBA, Banjo Kazooie GBA, and FFT (I'm assuming GBA). Viewtiful Joe and Haunted Mansion were also on the list.

Middleburg Heights is in my area, how much was FFT (GBA)? Did they have any Castlevania AOS, Suikoden III, or Castlevania for PS2?
 
I was just at Kmart and they had a ton of this shit pulled and off to the side. There was no one around so I just wondered what the deal was and went on my way. They had 3 of the MP/Wavebird bundles. Ass! I want a couple more wavebirds too! I am tempted to go back now but probably won't since I am leaving town Monday. Oh well. I have spent enough money lately anyway.
 
I just came back and found all the Blue Light games in a little bin. Sadly, it looked as if it had already been raided. They had a yellow price tag on them that was 50% off and then also had a sign that said 'Blue Light special- take an additional 60% off'. I found VJ (PS2) with a tagged price of $10, WarioWare (GBA) for tagged at $15, and NES Classic Castlevania tagged at $10.

I was ready to get all three games for $15 (60% off the tagged prices) but the lady at the counter said that the games were already marked 50% off and the blue light thing takes off an extra 10% for a total of 60%. I tried to argue but the manager came and she was a freakin drone and wouldn't listen to logic.

So I had to settle for just WarioWare for $11. Oh well, still cool I guess.

Yeah, I called and the guy insisted that they had so many of the MP/Wavebird bundles that I would have no problem if I went tomorrow.
 
I picked up the Hobbit and Boktai on the cheap. Some asshat already snagged Suikoden III though, and Waverace wasn't there (not sure if it's included on the sale). I did get Super Monkey Ball 2 scanned, it's still regular price. Hopefully somebody will turn up with a master list at some point. I wouldn't mind knowing if any of the DVD's/CD's are included too

My Kmart was sold out. They had Mario Party 4 and WaveBirds for $60... Which is crap; wasn't even blue light.
 
How do we know this is only a Sat and Sun thing? Obviously, once the lurker and this gets over to FW, this clearance will be kaput.....anyhow, setting my alarm now. Jesus, I suck.

Signs are up everywhere that say BlueLight Sat. & Sun. only. Damn, I should have stopped when I saw the sign at the one in Cleveland. Didn't think games would be included because K-mart usually sucks!
