I have a weird question for you. Is the vga cable for 360 better than the component for 360?

As far as picture quality goes I would say that they're pretty comparable (both output up to 1080i) but you get more flexibility with the audio outs (you can connect it to a regular L/R input or a digital audio input) on the VGA cable.
It also allows you to use your 360 with a computer monitor or laptop, if you're so inclined.
I bought it because my old TV only had 1 HDMI port and my PS3 was connected to it. This cable allowed me to run my 360 in HD through the TV's VGA port and I didn't have to buy an HDMI switch.
