I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.
EDIT 4: Because no CAG wants to pay $5 more than he/she has to, shipwreck took the liberty of putting which games are eligible for $5 rebates on PriceGrabber. For complete info on the rebates check out this thread:

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

I Put Mario Pinball Land in my cart, and no less than 3 clicks away, I got a message saying they were sold out. Not bad movement for a game that WASN'T listed in "Low Supply/XXX remaining in stock" when I added it.
 
Would it be worth it to pick up Pirates and Fatal Frame II and hope that they become compatible with the xbox 360 sometime in the near future? Or would I end up waiting forever?

Cheapy I think gave a few away at tradeshows and street team people if I remember correctly. You don't have to be a dick if you're question wasen't completely answered in less then ten minutes.

Great sale, will check out some local central Ohio stores in the morning when I get the chance (sadly wont be able to make it at opening- D'Oh!). This sale seems to be very well spread amongst the online communities, so what does everyone think the chances of many of the items lasting past say 9 o clock? Also, some people need to get together and try to figure out solutions to the Fatwallet problem. I, as I am sure everyone else here, hate it when another person buys up all the items I was interested in just minutes before me. I cant say I blame a hoarder though, but I would still like to get one step ahead of them. If this thread had been started just a few days before the sale was to start, would that have helped to cut down on hoarders? Thanks OP and everyone else for the info
 
yeah doesnt toys r us have the policy you can get full refunds on unopened merchandise? they tend to charge way too much for games but i have landed alot of great comic book and toy deals there when i collected them. my price find was X Men Alpha with a glossy cover from the age of apocalypse series for basically a buck because it was part of a 5 dollar comic collectors package.
 
Can we have a seperate thread for "how it went" reports and celebration stories? I just figure that this thread is bogged down enough as it is, and the pertanent info might get lost. What do you all think?

It's not a gamble at all. If they don't go on sale, then the unopened games get returned. Simple as that. Considering that there's a coinciding online sale going on right now, it's hard to believe that there won't be a sale in stores, too starting at 8am. Or 1pm for all you Fatwallets out there. :lol:

I love Godzilla: Save the Earth. It's one of my favorite games to play. When you get it, I'm always up for playing it online on XBL.

I still can't believe some people here are going to be camping... I'll be going there, early definitely, but definitely not early enough to camp out... this isn't THAT great a deal since most TRUs have nothing.

And I pray that they're not moving stuff into bins because whenever they do, it makes it impossible to get to or even see stuff under the first 20 or so games on top.

well i called today to at least see if they had any in, since the website didnt even list the game.

and it would be no point in having them check stock elsewhere since by the time they ship the stuff over to them the price drop would be over and it would be a while later.

i mean, i wish there was also a bit more official stuff for the price drop, as if it DOESNT ring up like it should at the register, i'm SOL, but i figure since i was gonna buy this game anyway it isnt a big deal, but under normal circumstances i'd be a little suspect about it not definetly happening for every game on the list when there isnt some sort of official advertisment.
 
I went to get 3 games online...with tax and shipping it worked out to $13 a game...wasn't worth it for those particular games...hopefully can find them in the store and save $10...if not, I'll wait until they're $5 each on Ebay next year.
