I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

i was a little miffed that not only is the game i want not online, but the tru i called only had one in stock today, and everywhere i call either doesnt have it or sold out of it this past month and it seems to not be stocked much anymore.

everyone seems real phsyched to go out tommorow and i always seem to underestimate these types of sale, always thinking my stuff must be there the next day (i didnt just go today because the markdown starts tommorow and the price check even yielded the normal msrp.....least over the phone).

anyhow, i might just leisurely stroll in tommorow aft and pick it up, would this be a bad thing? i do live in the suburbs but i am still pretty surprised how people just swarm around the buys in the my area, but still, the game has been out for a while, i just wouldnt fathom someone snagging it up by tommorow at that same store.

just talk of people staying up all night and going in the morning disturbs me, i'm on my vacation from college, and i wont even have a car until later in the day, now suddenyl i'm thinking they wont have my game and once again i'll have to seek it elsewhere.....AND not get it for 10 bucks, which is a sweet deal.
 
So, I was at this TRU and there were all these sweet games behind a copy of Dora the Explorer. Since I couldn't find any other copies and I was getting late with my Christmas shopping, I scooped them up. But, imagine my surprise when I went to the counter and got them rung up and they were all $10 each! Score!

I left my Toys R Us this evening amidst an employee going through the list to pull the titles. As he and I quietly conversed about the markdowns, he informed me I in fact could purchase the titles, then return the receipt during the actual markdown period, and my prices would be discounted. Needless to say, my Toys R Us was stocked to the gills with titles and I picked up 7 I had been looking for. Nice!

All stores are currently sold out of RE4 except Cool Springs. I just went there earlier today and got a copy to PM tomorrow. They also had Pikmin 2 but I forgot my Fat Wad of Cash (tm) and couldn't afford it.

Both of these games were not on the shelves or behind the glass. The employee had to go in the back to get them for me. I assume they just got a shipment in earlier today, since yesterday they were sold out.

Sorry I didn't check anything else. These were the only games on my list and I was in a rush.

Great! Thanks for hitting every store and sucking the fun right out of everything. There's almost no point to go in the morning. Cool Springs for RE4 was my only hope. Oh well.

I live in Davis CA, so my main options are the arden and fairfield stores. Has anyone been to either recently? Which would have the better selection (overall at least)?

Any input would be great.

I also live in Davis (for school), but I'm home in SoCal for the holidays so I can't scout out Arden or Fairfield...but...I snagged an RE4 today and will try to price adjust tomorrow...

If there's a game you DESPERATELY want I could get any extra one and just sell it to you in person or something whenever I'm back from winter break...

I went to the Fairfield TRU around 9pm, and the shelves have been mostly picked clean by the wild hordes. Off the top of my head, no Digital Devil Saga, no Metal Slug 4/5 (although they still have display cases out for it :bomb:, no Haunting Ground:cry:. They did have several copies of RE4 though.

That line the salespeople give about getting shipments every day is load of crap, I've been in TRU on and off during the holiday season and the video game shelves just kept getting barer and barer.
 
I actually went in to the TRU by Tri-county mall and they had quite a few copies of RE4 and I bought Doom 3 and it rang up at 9.98 and said "promo" on the cashiers digital display along with the price, and I had 30.00$ ready to pay for it and it totally shocked me that the price was already in the system!
 
Are people really expecting lines to get into the sale tomorrow? Seems a bit extreme to me... I'll be there at 8 AM just in case since there's a few games I really want.

Can someone confirm Psychonauts on XB is on sale? I thought it was just the PS2 version.

i saw the TRU ad for next week and it mentions a VG clearance $4.99 and up with the XB version pictured among other games...which tells me it's worth a shot

i called in and found 1 dos at the one near me too....stay away, it's mine! i coulda bought it today but i wanted to wait for the price to drop because the dude said it was still 30.

Ordered Doom 3 and some others. Doom 3 said CD-Rom under it but had the Xbox box art so I'm sure it is the Xbox version and not the PC one. If it is I can always return it. Also it has been forever since I've ordered from Amaon and I'm shocked they still suck at S&H .
