I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

I shouldn't have said anything but oh well, I just hope someone who actually really wanted it bought it. Hey Alpha2, there's still a good amount of DBD at the TRU in queens on Northern Blvd as of 6pm tonight if you're interested.
 
I just went there today and nabbed the last copy of Resident Evil 4. It was right between the crack of 2 of the clearance bins. ^_^ I ended up getting:

wow, how long was RE4 up. I woke up from my nap and it was $9.98 online. I thought it was up forever. I grabbed a few and was sorta mad with shipping my self

5 mins later it's OOS. I can't believe I got that lucky.

Thanks for the look out JJZ, especially sine the online version is finally OOS. I dunno if I can get out to queens anytime soon though since transit strike makes being a travleing CAG tough. It's over now but the trains/buses won't be running again til tomarrow morning and I have to work.
 
yea they had some alright games. They only had 1 of the 4 that i wanted which was psychonauts. I got another psychonauts though and romance x and alien hominid so i could try and trade for the others i want.

It looked to be around 3 left when I got mine. Funny thing is they have a crap load of killer 7's. They also had about 8 Fight night 2 for the gC. Got an extra copy for trade. Just in case anyone is interested PM me.

yea i was waiting online with alien hominid and kof mi and i seen the game in the case. I couldnt make it out cause i got bad eyes but i asked for it and it was it and it was the last one. Wouldnt have bought it if i got all the ones i wanted. I dont want to take away from people that want it but i gotta trade.

tru in redwood city was pretty blanked on ps2 stuff. missed out on psychonauts which was all i wanted. oh well, went too late in the afternoon. :)

I had a pretty productive day. I spun 6 copies of Romance, 6 copies of Dynasty Warriors 5, and 6 copies of Psychonauts (2 each from 3 stores near my house, leaving several more of each behind, FYI) into almost 500 bucks at my local Game Rushes. I used that 200 investment to facilitate the funding of my now sizeable Xbox 360 game collection, as I got CoD2, PGR3, Kameo, PDZero, Gun, THAW, Condemned, King Kong and an additional wireless controller. Not bad for about 2 hours driving and effort.
 
Any chance we could get a fresh thread? 110 pages is an absolute TON.

BTW, got Pikmin 2 and Conker (again) tonight. Efficient bastards already had a table setup with Xbox and PS2 games.
 
Well, today was pretty painless. The two TRU's I went to were CRAZY busy, but thankfully the R-Zones weren't as bad.

I was able to snatch pretty much everything I wanted...although my TRU was sold out of Darkstalkers, Digital Devil Saga, and Resident Evil 4. Some of the games that I hid got found, which made me disappointed. But oh well! Here's what I got:

TRU in Joliet, IL was fairly drained. I was not able to get Midway Arcade Treasures 2, but did get Alien Hominid, FF I and II, and Mr Driller. hey also price adjust DD and Metal Slug 4/5. Like others said, the price adjustment listed both games as 6.66.
 
I bought an extra copy of Fatal Frame 2 (xbox),(SPOKEN FOR) Conker(xbox) & RE4 (GC),(SPOKEN FOR) because I saw that some people were looking for them. If anyone is interested in them PM me. I would sell them for $15 shipped
 
How the hell does anyone even keep up with this thread? Yesterday I was barely keep up with it when it went on a fever pace from 750 and beyond. I was upto 1100 posts last night and was about to post when I was just too tired.

Yesterday I missed out on a Mario Pinball, but managed to make it on time for a Mr. Driller DS. That was one of my main wants.

Today I went out to a couple TRU and only managed to pick up a Pariah and the last Alien Homonid PS2 at this one store. Talked it over with some of the employees and the manager of that department at both stores and it seems that some game was over at one of them a half hour earlier than they opened, basically bought 600+ dollars in games (every Tekken 5, SMT:DDS1, etc. (I know since I scoped out this place a week earlier and saw that they had three, this was right when first notice of the deal started to come out and before I knew that you could buy early). Also, the same thing happened at the other store at 8:30. Damn it is all I have to say. this deal could have turned out to be incredible (well at least for a few items) but damn FWers and hoarders and Ebayers, etc. Assholes to all of you. I hope you people do not earn a single dime off of Ebaying or selling or trading in or doing anything with those games...
