I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

For those of you people who missed out on these sales, watch those ebay auctions. You'll still probably be able to pick up these games for very cheaply now, as the ebay market is going to be flooded with them.

(And no, I'm not strictly against the CAGers here who picked up extra copies of games for their friends, for trade, or for ebay sales. But OMFGawd if you are going to sell this stuff on ebay for a profit, use some COMMON SENSE people!)

Yeah, yesterday (30-some pages back and I'm too lazy to hunt) someone posted an ebay auction and the pic, where someone was selling RE4 and had an image with 13 copies on a kitchen table.

You're right, the people are idiots in the way they are selling this stuff. Look, you will see people selling 6 copies of DDS . . . all ending within a few minutes. If you are going to be a jerk at least just sell one a week to let the market recover.

Yeah, I tried to pick up Def Jam: Fight for NY yesterday morning, and it also scanned at 29.99. I was gonna return the copy I picked up at CC a few weeks ago if I could have scored it for 9.99 but I'll probably end up keeping it now.

Anyone going back to their TRU today? I went there yesterday at around 6PM and as I was going up to the register I noticed a cart of games nearby. After buying some games I checked the cart and it was the $9.98 games, but most of them were games that didn't catch my interest. The ones in there I could remember were THUG, Transformers, Project Snowblind, plenty of EA 2005 sports games, Cold Fear...that's it for now. I doubt there will be anything new, but I'll drop by anyway.
 
I went last night. The video game section was completely gutted, especially when it came to just about anything on this list. I wanted RE4 or Doom 3 pretty badly, so I was a little disappointed. I did manage to pick up the last 2 copies of Psychonauts (one for me, one for my little cousin), but there was absolutely nothing to speak of outside of that.
 
Also... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Xbox) was $26.99 and MLB 2K5 WSE (Xbox) came up $19.99. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was on this list for $9.99 and MLB 2K5 (no mention of WSE) is on this list for $9.99

I hit the TRU in Oceanside, CA yesterday morning at 9:30. They opened at 8:00.

At first I didn't see much, but quickly found GBA Final Fantasy 1+2, then PS2 Psychonauts. There was at least two of each left. I found some others I wasn't interested in, and couldn't find several I was. No RE4, no Halo 2, no Darkstalkers.

Went to pay for the two I found, and got in line with three people with printed lists, one of which was complete with upc barcodes. Fortunately for me, it looked like they were moms with very specific xmas lists.

After I paid, I went back to scour again. I noticed a guy had snagged a Pikmin 2 that I didn't see. Then I remembered to check for PS2 Killer 7, and there were 2 or 3 of those, so I got back in line with one of them.

One of the moms who drifted out of line earlier was in front of me, wondering if DS Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble shouldn't be 9.99. Normally, I don't interject into these things, but I didn't have a lot of time today. I told her it was supposed to be 29.99, and the clerk confirmed it. The mom thought that some Viewtiful Joe was supposed to be 9.99 and I said it was VJ2 for the GC. (This was from memory, too) The clerk confirmed that, too.

When it was my turn at the register, the clerk chatted with me. She was amazed by the sale, wondering why all these titles were so cheap.

I'm kind of in awe of it all, too, both from the number and selection of titles on sale, the quiet nature of it all, and the turnout of well-informed shoppers. It's both strange and wonderful if you manage to make it work for you.

I know I can't be happier than Psychonauts and Killer 7 for $5 each after Pricegrabber. Thanks to everyone who made this easy to jump on.

Whoops. Maybe I should have picked up a 4 Swords or two for anyone who wanted them.

Anyways, how many people here have seen Racing Gears Advance? That's one game I really want that I've seen nary a mention of here.

They still had a decent collection of games (no DDS or Pikmin 2 though). I saw many copies of Doom 3 and Wario Ware, and a few copies of Unreal Championship 2. Good luck to everyone!

At both TRUs I went to there was no indication that the games were on sale. They were all marked $40-$50, but they all rang up $9.98.

Nothing is marked down on the shelf, it only comes up at register.

Also, if anyone is interested the TRU in Phillipsburg, NJ has a crap load of Psychonauts left.

Covering 3 stores in the state I got Psychonauts, RE4, and XX\YY. Friend got RE4 and Killer 7 for PS2.

My Tru was fine when it opened, and again at around Noon (minus a few titles) but by the time I went back again that night (I was in the area running errands) everything was decimated. I found three FW lists lying in the Rzone on the Ps2 racks, and it made me sad.

Everything is marked at the Fargo ND store now. I think it depends on the manager.

Fatwallet.com = FW which is another site like our beloved CAG but they're more toward buying up as much as they can to re-sell on e-bay and other places. Instead of buying a few copies they try to buy every copy of the best games.

Well the Federal Way one I went to had a cart full of alot of Golden Sun and other GBA titles.

Oh! And Karaoke Revolution (X-Box) scanned at $39.. Just incase anyone was wondering. >.>
 
got RE4, Final fantasy 1&2, and dark cloud for $10 each at the longview, TX one. want DDS and Tekken 5. oh well, i dont live there so im going to go look at the one im near.
 
I went to 2 TRUs yesterday, the first had red stickers on about half the $9.98 stuff on the shelves and nothing on the games in the case (they must have had 6-7 RE 4). The second store I went to had nothing marked and had no idea there was even a sale going on. Both stores are in the Baltimore area and had plenty of stuff left @ 5:00 PM yesterday.
 
I got Champions of Norrath, Pikmin 2, Romance of the Kingdoms X and Tekken 5.

I then took Pikmin 2 and Tekken 5 to best buy and told them my grandman boought them but didn't have a recepit. BB gave me $98 in store credit, which I used to buy Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme legends. And I had $10 in credit left over

I took Romance to gamestop and told them the same thing and they let me exchange it for Devil Kings and gave the rest in credit which was $10.50

Also, YMMV on whether the store knows of the sale. One store I went to had some (but not all) items tagged on the shelf. The other had absolutely no idea.

If you live on Long Island, Toys R Us Riverhead, as of yesterday afternoon, had at least 5 re4, 10 FF1+2, 20 Transformers, and most other items on that list except the game I was really looking for: Metal Slug.

I actually ended up going 3 times. I went in the morning to pick up some stuff for me. I had lunch at 12, and since I was already out I stopped by (it was literally 3 minutes up the street) and wanted to get some games for other CAGs, then a friend of mine came into town and went all nuts for tekken 5 so he made me ride up there with him before we hung out (this was around 6). I'm pretty much all TRU'd out for a while.
