Dear Square-Enix,
WHERE THE fuck IS FINAL FANTASY TACTICS A-2!!!! I demand that is it released in the states within the next six months.

Fixed!

But FFT A-2 wouldn't be all bad.

I've only ever played the SNES Tactics Ogre game. It's been awhile since the last one, hasn't it?

I've been working thru Case 3 of Apollo Justice this morn. Damn I wish this game had voice-overs instead of the s l o w ly s c r a w l i n g t ext shit. Otherwise, I'm lovin it.

People liked FFTA? Took me awhile to realize how shitty that game was. It happened about the time one of the characters revealed that the main reason she hated being alive was because she had white hair. Oh noes!

I may never get to the end of the story in FFT, I just keep going to random battle-ville to get one more skill/job level. I thought I was ahead of the curve by being at lv 13 near the end of Ch 1 until my friend told me they were at lv 20 by the end of Ch 1 :whistle2:#

I dont give a shit about story in ffta since that lasts like all of 20 mins.

Gameplay is where its at.

My rockband drum pedal broke last night also.

I think I might just order one of those steel reinforcement things, and be done with it.

Meh, I can't detach a RPG from its story. It's why I play those games. So while I can forgive a ridiculous story in something like a FPS it's not going to fly in FFTA.

Sucks.

What is this steel reinforcement thing you type of?
Sucks.

I would also like to know.

Finished up Uncharted. Boring end boss but awesome game all around.

What do you like better about FFT? just curious. I actually traded my copy in for Disgaea. couldn't stand a few things about it-- namely the unskippable story stuff, the weird annoying sound they used for dialog, and the layout and progression. I like how disgaea lets you jump into anything you want without jumping through typical square-enix hoops.

Oooo, thats neat. Guess I'll mark one of 'em for when mine takes a shit. My Les Paul took a shit on me last week and doesn't register the yellow button anymore, so I gotta send that in. :(

Uncharted was kind of ridiculous towards the end, agreed? Totally didn't expect it.

The gameplay in Tactics is much more refined then disgaea.

Disgaea has this weird thing with the geoblocks that tended to piss me off.

I liked Disgaea, but Its something thats hard to point out what I liked about Final Fantasy Tactics more.

Probably that the enemies level up with you so the game does not become really easy and boring.
You are pretty much stuck to one class if I remember right, and you can only use the stuff you learned from that class when you are that class.

I felt that there was no flexibility with any of the main characters, and the typical ANIME MOE!!!!!!!!!!!! NOSEBLEEEEEEED! shit got old fast in that game.
Although Prinnies are fuckalllawesome.

In the PSP game I felt the story was fixed, and it just feels much deeper then the typical Anime garbage story that is cliched with SRPGS.

The ending of uncharted sucked balls.

You should not end a game with a quick time event.

Agreed. It was a bit
I am Legend-ish

Sorry to hear about the loss of your guitar :[ May it be played by gods in guitar heaven.

Looking at my old xbox collection, I wonder why I still have most of these games. I guess because trading them in would basically be giving them away. Could the troops use regular xbox games?

Turns out I think I want a PSP I can custom firmware. Sounds attractive.

Last night I knocked out a couple more Ace Combat 6 missions. Decent game. It looks phenomenal on the HDTV. I'm nearing the end of it, so up on the trade list it goes.

haha, yeah I like it for the reasons you don't for the most part

Characters can't change jobs, only level up into advanced versions of their job.
I still need to get onto Disgaea 2.
You'll get my copy soon, don't worry.

Well, as for Disgaea DS, sounds pretty cool. I expected it, since I remember NIS hinting about it.
Disgaea: DS was just announced in famitsu.

How does the ggt feel about this?
meh.

Disgaea: Double Strike.........or has that already been used?

I just found out their is a bleach SRPG coming.........I want it to be good, but it smells like onimusha tactics.

Advance Wars used "Dual Strike" but no double strike I know of.

and fuck, I just watched a codec vid from SSBB and decided I have to have the game.

I'll be looking forward to disgaea ds.

And between FFT and Disgaea, I LOVE the characters from Disgaea wayyyyyy more than the characters in FFT, and I also find the dialogue to be more entertaining.

The music is great too-- the NIS games all have awesome soundtracks. I would miss that on the DS.

Have you not played Contact or the new Advance Wars on the DS? The music is simply awesome.

I don't think it would involve jumping through hoops and super hard work to get great sound on the DS, it's been done before.

I like Phoenix Wright's sound too, but I can't listen to it through headphones. Too repetitive, sound quality is too low. I like my fully orchestrated, CD quality soundtracks in PSP games.

Phoenix Wrights sounds are fun the first couple of time you hear them, and then by the time I was at the end of case 5, I was ready to strangle someone.

Truth.

Playing DS games with headphones is terrible.

Space Invaders Extreme is fucking incredible. Better than Pac Man Anniversary as far as retro remakes go, I'd wager. The pace of the old game is perfect for building a music-shooter around, since it has that plodding pace of how you're shooting and the enemies move. There's cool powerups and lots of ways to build combo points and chains. I'm thinking about importing it because I don't really want to wait for the US release. It's going to be $20 when it hits here, though, on PSP and DS.

Grab the japanese PSP demo if you don't believe! It's only 5MB but requires 3.80 or higher.

Supposedly Soma Bringer has excellent audio when listening on headphones. It has a completely different audio mix if you choose speaker or headphone output.

I agree with you there, I usually don't listen to my ds through headphones, but that's usually because I tend to play it in a quiet place where I can hear the sound.

However, the audio quality on psp games through headphones is great. I've been play alot of SFA3 MAX lately and the sound on that with headphones is . I absolutely love the obnoxious announcer.

Whew, I just semi-succesfully applied my Hori screen protector onto my PSP. These things are so damn sticky! There two tiny, tiny air bubbles on the top and bottom, and a long one on the right side. Neither are instrusive, but it would be nice if they weren't there. Do you think they'll work themselves out, or should I keep ebbing at them with a credit card? It also didn't help that the directions for the film were in Japanese....
I want tekken 6.

I might make a trip to houston (it's only about a 40 minute drive for me) during spring break next week to sheck it out.

There are a bunch of arcades where I live shockingly. My college has one and they usually change a few games in it every few months. I haven't played there in a while. They had a SCII cabinet before it came out to consoles.
