Odd Question: What would happen If I plug my 360 into my Xbox One?

Like would I be able to play my 360?
Would there be any lag due to the pass through?

I'm assuming you mean into the HDMI in port on the :xb1:.  You would be able to play your :360: through your :xb1: this way, but I have noticed that there is a little bit of lag.  Any twitch-based games would probably suffer.  However, I haven't tried it in a few months so they may have improved the latency of that connection.  Give it a try!

Thanks man!

You can do that, and a lot more. Just not easily. But if you've ever wanted to play Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 with a TON of lag, there's your option.

An HDMI switch would be a better option if you're trying to be able to plug both your 360 and your XB1 into the same TV and only have one HDMI port between the two to work with.

This is one I used for almost a couple of years when I outgrew it:

Worked like a champ the entire time, never had an issue.
I was wondering if switches can cause latency..
Other than that.. I'm fine, and was just curious as to what would happen was all.

My TV has 3 HDMI slots... the PS4 is never unplugged, and USUALLY the PS3 and 360 are in the other slots, unless there is something on the WII U or XB1 I want to play, which is once every few months.

I've never seen any real latency when using the Kinivo switcher I linked above or the current one I'm using, which is this one:

Shooters, fighting games, other games, not been an issue that I've seen.

If you pick up that Kinivo switcher, you can leave the PS4 connected to the TV and one of the two between the PS3 and the 360. Rest would go into the HDMI switch.

The only console / device I've seen act funny with a HDMI switch was my PSTV, which wouldn't work it for some reason. What I have plugged into my current HDMI switch:

X360

PS3

XB1

PS4

Wii U

Nexus Player

+ something I forget that's in port #7. :dunce:
