Just looking at the drive summaries so far, it seems like the Saints/Colts game is probably too boring for most people to keep watching the game at this point.

That would be correct. Brees has been able to do whatever he wants and with the exception of this last drive the Colts have either gone three-and-out or turned it over.
say what you want about Tebow, dude just wins.

The Browns winning 6-3 is even more accentuated because those 2 FG's they hit were from 59 and 60!!

San Fran should thunder them next week at Candlestick.
Im a Browms fan and I have tickets to that game. It might be a tough game to watch admittely. I just hope "Bad" Alex Smith shows up.

Damn cant believe Lions couldn't get the W against the falCONS, thats just as bad as bucs choking and jets getting yet another fluke win they didn't earn

also big LOLOL @ Colts

I agree, San Fran is not great and Alex Smith is nothing to write home about but the Browns haven't been impressive AT ALL this season, even in victory.
This was a really shitty day for football now that I think of it. Just really shitty.
Not if you like the cowboys or the panthers. Today was an awesome sports day all around.

I had a really bad pick-em week. At least I got the Saints with most points tiebreaker. But yeah, Tampa, Detroit, San Diego, and Oakland really sucked today.
Or the Saints. My Lord that game...most points ever scored by a franchise I believe. :fridge:
A bit short of that record by like 11 points.

I'll take em off your hands.

Even if the Broncos lost against Miami, this would have made the day a success.

I was completely baffled when I found out that SF was 5-1 going into the Detroit game since their fans talked so much crap about the team that I was sure that they had maybe two wins at most by then.

Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano could sense a seemingly insurmountable lead slipping away, and after calling a timeout, he implored two officials to review a touchdown just scored by the Denver Broncos.

“If I don’t call a timeout, I’m (sunk) and now I’m getting fired, OK?” he screamed while pointing toward the team owner’s skybox.

I don't know whether to laugh or legitimately feel bad for him.

Gotta feel a little bad for Sparano. I mean, he's been a dead man walking for a season now. He knows he can get fired any day, and is virtually guaranteed to get fired at the end of the season regardless of the next 10 weeks.

Once again i heard the Benny Hill theme playing everytime fucking flacco snapped the damn ball. Sometimes he is literally the reason Ravens havent probably been to a couple of SB by now.

And i wish espn would stop with this Murray record rushing shit, when it came against the goddamn winless rams with that horrid defense that shit deserves to be on "come on man". Come back to me if that shit was done against the Packers, Steelers, Jets etc and then I'll be impressed.

Considering it's only the 12th 250+ rushing game in NFL history, you at least have to give the guy props. You must be sippin on some strong haterade.

Jags defense has been playing very good all season. Nice to see the pass rush finally show up. The passing game needs to do something. Marcedes Lewis keeps dropping balls that he should catch for TD's.
Nobody showed up at TOs workout today. burn.
I would be willing to sign the guy to my team if I were say the Bears that are desperate for some WR help however I would only do it on at league minimum contact with loads of goal oriented incentives built in.

That way it's low risk but gives him the chance to earn mad cash if he can still play as well as he thinks he can. I'm sure with him and his ass clown agent there's zero chance of that happening as I'm sure their minimum salary demands are ridiculous.

Vikings had to call Bernard Berrian 8 times to tell him he was released because he kept dropping his phone trying to answer. :D

That was good.
I almost feel bad for the guy.

Almost.
It's hard to feel sorry for someone who's: A)already rich beyond his desires and B)has been such a monumental asshole throughout his entire career.

He's a poster child for burning your bridges. I've gotta believe he's a better value than at least a few WRs out there but he's not worth the other bullshit.

Just like Randy Moss, he didn't retire cause he was done playing, but rather because he wanted to save himself the same embarrassment that TO is going through.

Yeah, I definitely think Moss was smart to walk away from the game. 3 teams last season, he probably would have played for 3 more if he played another year or two.

Bears cut Chris Harris today. He blew some coverage his last two games he played in, but I find it hard to believe his level of play dropped that far from last year without injuries being a factor.

2nd team All-Pro last year. And all-pro is really the only thing that means anything.

He requested a trade a few days before trade deadline. Someone in ESPN land said they were going to give more playing time to the rookie behind him and that is was in the teams best interested to dump him instead of having be a grouch coming off the bench.

"Every time Tim Tebow throws the ball, it looks like a fake punt."

I know he requested a trade, but so did Lance Briggs. Chris Harris hardly seems like a locker room poison. His teammates liked him, the defense played better in the years he was there. I'm not saying he's Ronnie Lott or anything, but I don't see the Bears' safeties being better without him in the mix.
someone is going to get lucky when they pick up chris harris. I wouldn't mind if the packers did.
The Lions snagged him off waivers.

I know there are some Browns fans here, I found it funny Montario Hardesty used the word "excited" for this weeks game as if the Browns' coaching staff doesn't show the players opposing defense game film.

I am a Browns fan and I am going to the 49ers/Browns game at Candlestick later on today. It will be my first game in about 5 years.

Yeah, I know it might be a rough outing but I'm going root for my team anyways. Who knows - Maybe bad Alex Smith might make an appearance (He was always a Jekyl/Hyde kinda quarterback in the past).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

The problem is that its not over for D-Nab. He can still play and after all he is a HOF player. His biggest problem is that he is old so no good team can invest in him, he will be forced to freelance (much like Shaq) for a bunch of average to shitty teams that he can never win with.

The Redskins are complete garbage even with their strongish start and the vikings have been a clusterfuck for a while now. I believe he could lead a good team to a superbowl run but all good teams already have a qb or a young talent they want to be qb.

On a unrelated note, my fucking lions had better kill Tiny Tim today or I am gonna be super pissed.
