The amount of ball washing Tebow was getting on the NFL Network post game was just.... ungodly large.

Edit: I will say the last five minutes of the 4th quarter was enjoyable. The rest of the game was dull however. Then again anytime the Jets lose is good times indeed. :)
As a Broncos fan, I find it hilarious. Dude just wins, it's unreal.
You do realize there are other players on the Broncos who do just as much, if not more, to lead to their win right?

Worst thing about the whole Tebow thing is hearing how he's apparently the only one on the team to do anything.

"Hey, don't worry Andre Goodman. You got the TD stat, but we're going to give Tebow the win despite both of you putting the same number of points on the board."

There are other players besides Tebow?!

I had no idea!

I think it was to counter the Jets ball washing during the game.

Von Miller is a stud, I am so glad Denver finally made a good 1st round pick.

While the defense kept it close, you have to acknowledge that the last drive was all Tebow.
I've not paid much attention to what's going on in New York, but are any Jets fans calling for Mark Brunell yet?
From what I've heard elsewhere they already are on the Gang Green forums.

Chris Carter already did after the Patriot game lol

Denver is a fierce defense in the making. They will be good for the next 5 years.
Looks like the Jets need to tear it all down and rebuild again.
I don't know if this is serious or not but that's going way too far.

They need better O-line play so that Sanchez actually has some time to make a decision. His constant beatings are really impacting him. He is best when he is a rhythm passer.

The defense was great for 3 quarters last night, then the secondary got afraid to tackle Tebow, along with the awful All-Out Blitz call on the Tebow TD run.

They still need a pass-rusher though, the blitz schemes are great when they work but then they get sold out other times.

They probably need to fire their OC. He needs to better understand play calling in certain game situations.

Of course it was a joke. I was referring to Cris Carter's recent comments on Mike & Mike that any team that loses to the Broncos should just blow their team up and start over again.

He seriously said a week ago though that the Jets needed to sit Sanchez for real.

I get the impression that being one of the best receivers of all-time is the only reason that he gets airtime as an analyst since he has terrible opinions and analysis.

Well, the refs didn't get to steal that one from the Browns.

I've softened on the Browns in the last few weeks. They're still bad (and I skipped using my ticket for the game), but they have moved the ball. They just can't score. If they can get some playmakers through the draft and free agency they might be okay next year. Hillis is pretty much gone which I don't mind. It is just McCoy I'm not sure about. I'm not impressed with Shurmur, but the last few weeks make me think the experiment is worth continuing.
Raiders tried to give the game away, but hold on to win 27-21 at Minnesota.
I hope DHB is OK. They carted him off after a blow to the back of his head. Looked like it may have been more of a precautionary measure as he seemed to have full movement.

The Browns offense is improving each week as the chemistry and maturity of the offensive line gets better with each game. Ogbannaya had much better runs the longer they used him, but he almost got injured at a few points to make it five injured backs on the roster. Colt McCoy did a good job of getting more receivers involved and minimizing the bad passes, though the TEs continue to be underutilized. Phil Dawson got screwed by the FG call that was not reviewable, though having a camera behind each post would give them a perfect angle for reviews.

The defense played well to contain Maurice Jones-Drew and force Blaine Gabbert to beat them, which he couldn't do at the end of the game. The secondary did well, but they continue to have problems getting a hold on the easy pick opportunities that come their way with two missed picks by Haden and another by Brown. Joe Haden also got a few bad penalties, which has been the only negative aspect of his game this season.

I'm hoping that Hardesty gets healthy for Cincy next week and Hillis sometime before the second set of Baltimore/Pittsburgh games so that they can get away from these crazy situations where they could have nobody to fill in at running back with all of the injuries they've had at RB/FB.

Lol in typical fashion Deadskins cant go 1 game without a epic failure and gives a game away once again.

Also good game to the Bengals nobody ever mentions how good of a team they managed to become this year specially the record they have 10 weeks in, instead we have to have our ears bleed about how good these amazingly overrated mediocre teams are like the Jets,Cowboys,Broncos,Falcons etc

I agree with you. The Bengals should be commended for playing as hard as they have all year. They took Pittsburgh and Baltimore to the wire in back to back weeks. This week they were playing without their best receiver and CB.

hmm Bears secondary gets torched all game by Vjax and Gates so they make Matthews run it who hasnt done shit in forever, not surprisingly he fumbles and now SD is down 2 tds. Norv Turner ladies and gentlemen.

I guess Jake Locker is in for the Titans following an injury to Hasselbeck.

EDIT: And it looks like he's already found a favorite target, Nate Washington.

Another brilliant Norv moment. They call timeout, challenge the ruling on the field (Forte down by contact), lose the challenge, and then lose a their final timeout.

Why not just challenge the play to begin with? If you lose then you burn one timeout.

Beat me to it. I wasnt even the room when that happen i was thinking i dont think hes really gonna do that replay booth probably told him not to challenge i come back i see SD without any timeouts, Norv Turner ladies and gentlemen.

FINALLY! I can appreciate what Hasselbeck has done for the team this season giving them some stability and a veteran presence, but they're a much more versatile team with Locker in there. And he looked like he can handle the pressure just fine converting that 4th and 16. The deep ball he threw down the left side of the field after eluding the rush was also sick! 9-19, 140yds, 2 TDs is pretty decent for a debut.

The Titans offensive line is horrid though. They need to get that figured out quick or Chris Johnson's best years will be wasted. Johnson rushed for 13 yards on 12 carries today. Some people have been wanting to blame him, but they were getting to him in the backfield all game. Starting Locker might even open up Johnson's game a bit if defenses have to worry about a ball actually being thrown more than 10 yards downfield or a QB who can move like he's not 80 years old.
ESPN Chicago is reporting that Jay Cutler is out for the rest of the season with a broken thumb.
That'd be a terrible loss for them. Hanie performed admirably in relief of Cutler in the NFC title game last year, but I don't know how he could do week to week as starter.
I get the impression that being one of the best receivers of all-time is the only reason that he gets airtime as an analyst since he has terrible opinions and analysis.
I love it when he talks down about players who choke or struggle and does it with a straight face. Anytime I hear him shit on anyone I just think 41-0.

My goodness the Nfc east is terrible, Green Bay vs 49ers/Saints/maybe another nfc north team for the Nfc championship game looking more probable by the minute.

Desean Jackson negating his 50-yd gain for being a retard is exactly why the Eagles should only give him a modest contract at the very best.

Get the fuck out of here..he is one of the top 3 threats on a shitty team. I hate how people have so knee jerk reactions to everything in sports. He is just your ONLY big threat WR on a team that sucks dick. He has only given you every chance to win every big game in the last couple years as well as providing for some wins single handed. Oh lets also forget that he was the one who showed up to camp under good faith that he would get a contract...in which the Eagles dicked him over for no real reason what so ever. Sports fans flip flop more than a 15 year old girl with a crush on two boys. When he is running back a TD to win a game its all roses but any other time apparently you dont even need him on the team. Then you wonder why players hold out for as much money as they can.

Also, the refs screwed up that entire call...it was after the play which means it should have been a 15 yard call leaving them with a net gain of 35 not a replay the down. How does that even make any sense? You have a penalty on the defense during an active play then a unsportsmanlike conduct after it was blown dead how does that equal replay down? When there is a shoving match after a play do they normally replay the previous down? No they give them a penalty (that useally offset resulting in no movement) and get on with the game.

I dont even really like Djack but flipping the ball happens at the end of every play ever.....it didnt seem like he spiked it at him. The league has always just decided who and when to enforce their own rules...when ARod does a taunt towards someone it cool but if Jared Allen does his rope the steer its all of a sudden to offensive.

He is....when he shows up. Other games he gets shut down completely. He deserves to get a raise, but he shouldn't get paid more then Maclin.

He should be paid more because he does more. They are about the same in terms of receiving yards but Jackson can return which make him better.

My thing has always been...I dont understand why teams hold players hostage. If you dont think he is worth the contract than trade him or let him go...but I hate when teams want it both ways. You want all of his talents to win you games but you dont want anything to do with making sure he is paid what he is worth.

I dont blame players for holding out neither do I blame teams for doing whats best for themselves but I dont get the games that they play.

Matt Forte is doing it the "right" way and he still hasnt got a contract. So now he has to worry about getting injured with every snap.

If you are going to have the knee jerk reaction of, not producing then get out then you have to accept that top guys are going to want their money now before you randomly decide they are not worth it.

Again, I dont like Djack I just think its a 50/50 split on blame. Djack is not helping himself at all with his actions but the Eagles are not given him any reason to change. You take care of everyone else but him.....its clear to see that they dont need or want him there so dont be surprised that he doesnt care about helping anything but himself. Vick got money, Nadmi got money? Young got money.....DJack is earning about the same as a fucking long snapper. They are screwing him hard.

They set him up to fail hard.

Agreed on that - they should have paid him with how they were throwing money around - but if he wants to get paid (by whoever) next year this isn't the best way to build interest.

I don't disagree with that, Forte should definitely get paid, I just think Desean isn't quite worth the monster contract he's looking for. I think Maclin has better hands, while Desean is mostly a home run hitter, and once he loses that elite speed, he's going to suck badly.

Ok maybe I was a bit harsh. Yes he does deserve to get paid, especially more than the $600k or whatever he's making now. But not top WR money like he's asking for. His skill set boils down to two things: running streaks and returns. Until he expands beyond that, he's not worth more than 7M/year. He's not even the best WR on the team imo--Maclin is the more complete receiver. And the fact that he's turning into a diva doesn't help him either.

Explanation of the admittedly ridiculous offsetting penalties (see #6):

Jackson flipped the ball directly at/to the Defensive Coordinator for the Giants, Perry Fewell. Then, he proceeded to taunt the players/coaches standing on the sidelines. He definitely earned the penalty.

With the Bears losing Cutler, I'm just shocked. When I heard the news at halftime of last night's game, I just couldn't believe it. He finished the game, even threw passes after that point. Nothing in post-game press conferences either. Looking at their schedule(@OAK, KC, @DEN, SEA, @GB, @MIN), they could have finished 5-1 w/ Jay depending on how much GB had to play for on Christmas. With Hanie, I'm hoping they can at least manage 3-3, but maybe even 4-2. I'm worried about Oakland this week, since Hanie hasn't had the reps lately, and Palmer keeps looking better. Oakland's lack of discipline could help the Bears out too though. At least Cutler didn't miss time during the start of the season.

Same here. When I heard there were reports of Cutler breaking his thumb I was stunned. I guess we'll find out what we have in Hanie over the next few weeks. Man. just when they were really starting to protect Cutler and he seemed like he was finally figuring out how to cut down on the turnovers...
What the hell is going on here? The Pats about to go down 0-7 to the Palko's Chiefs???
It hasn't looked good for New England yet, but I'm wondering why they seem to be trying the same thing on offense every time. Pass on 1st, which is gaining little or nothing, run on 2nd, which gains nothing, pass on 3rd, which is pressured and incomplete.

This is the first time in as long as I can remember that I'm looking forward to all 3 Thanksgiving games. Especially the 49ers/Ravens game.

The way the Dolphins are playing of late, that could well be a good one too. Definitely a very exciting slate!

It's the one I'm least excited about to be sure, and a few weeks ago it didn't look entertaining. But the Dolphins are looking good right now and I'd love to see them upset the Cowboys.
New England sure turned that game around...
ESPN probably begged the Pats to "slow things down" for at least the first quarter in order to keep viewers watching. ;)
