FAQ (Updated 12/01/09)
Can I post question on this thread?
Only if you can't find the answer from below. :lol: And please let me know if it needs to be added to FAQ.

Since when did Amazon start doing trades?
The program began earlier this year and is handled by a third party merchant, NorAm International.

What kind of shipping does Amazon provide us?
Free UPS ground ---- USPS is no longer available

Do I have to provide my own box or envelope?
Yes.

Do all my games in the same trade-in submission have to be shipped in the same box?
Yes.

Can I send in sealed games?
Yes. They won't reject games that still have the original shrink wrap.

Can I add Delivery Confirmation and Insurance to my shipment?
For UPS Ground
It already provides you with tracking information.

I don't trust UPS ground. Can I pay for postage myself? What's the address?
Yes. You're more than welcome to do so. The address is:
NorAm International
22 Hampshire Dr
Hudson, NH 03051

When do I have to send my games once I have submitted my trade order?
You have 1 week to send your games.

Crap, I have one day to go before my shipment deadline, but the website states that my deadline has already passed. How do I print out a shipping label and packing slip?
Load up any existing order (if you don't have any, check your browser's history), and substitute the transaction ID for the trade-in order you need at the end of the URL.

How long does the whole trade-in process usually take?
From the time you send in your games, it may take up to 14 business days for the package to arrive. Most people usually receive their credit (Amazon GiftCard) in 3 to 5 business days, however.

When do I receive my coupon code for the current trade-in deal, if any?
The Terms of Service states 10 days after Amazon has accepted your games and added credit to your account, but it usually takes 2 to 3 days.

How long does the "processing" status usually take?
Usually with no delay, but the longest reported days so far is 4.

My games were received on Friday (based on Delivery Confirmation), will I have to wait until Monday to receive credit?
People have received credit on a Saturday.

Can I do two different trade-in submissions that add up to the requirements of the current trade-in deal, if any?
No. In order to qualify for any of the trade-in promos, they have to all be in one trade-in submission. You can't add another game later on to make the minimum. However, you can adjust the quantity of the submitted game to make the minimum.

I submitted my trade-in order online, how do I know if I qualified for the current trade-in deal, if any? Is there a confirmation page or e-mail?
No. They will automatically send you a coupon code once they have accepted your shipment of games and credited your account.

Is the trade-in deal coupon in addition to the credit I will receive for my games?
Yes.

Can I trade in DVDs to take advantage of the current trade-in deal?
You may trade in DVDs to add credit to your Amazon account, but they will not be added to the amount you need to qualify for the deal.

Can I take advantage of the current trade-in (if available) promo more than once?
These deals are “One per household” unless stated otherwise. However, you may use a different Amazon account. The credit for your games will be tied to the specific account used for the trade, but the coupon codes for the deals are not.
*However, some people has confirmed that they get multiple coupon by using 1 Amazon account after doing multiple submission.
NOTE: IF YOU SEND MORE THAN 1 SUBMISSION, THE MULTIPLE COUPONS MIGHT COME IN 1 EMAIL, THE CODE IS SEPERATING BY A COMMA.

If the coupon codes aren’t tied to my account, can I use more than one coupon on my next purchase?
No. Unless stated otherwise in the promo details, these coupons cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. IT DOES STACK WITH THE ECA DISCOUNT, HOWEVER.

I do not have the manual, cover art, or original case for a game I want to trade in. Will they accept it?
While the details specifically state that original packaging is necessary, people have reported in the past that their trades were accepted despite missing some of these. This is extremely YMMV, however since some were also rejected by missing manual or cover art. On the other hand, older gen games; such as SNES, N64, and GB cartridges, normally get accepted without the original box and manual, but still YMMV.
It's always better if you trade your non-complete game as an additional credit, not part of the minimum requirement to qualify for the promo.

My game is really beat up, what are the chances they’ll accept it?
This is YMMV. Some people have reported in the past that they sent in games in bad shape that were still accepted. Your best bet is still to trade in games in mint condition. Minor scratches are expected as these are used games.

My game is the Greatest Hits version, but the one pictured on the site isn’t. Can I still trade it in?
Unless the game in question has two separate versions that trade at different values, sending in a greatest hits version is okay.

I have a game from a limited edition bundle, will they accept it?
If the game’s cover art has a UPC barcode, they will most likely accept it. If your game's cover states "Not for Resale" and does not have a UPC barcode, the game will most likely get rejected. Some people have had their games accepted in the past, but this is YMMV.

The UPC barcode is not intact on my game's cover art, will that be accepted?
This is YMMV. Just try it, but make sure to have more than enough for the minimum requirement to qualify for the deal, if available.

So if they reject one of my games, am I disqualified from the current trade-in deal, if any?
Unfortunately yes. The best suggestion for trading in games is to trade in $10-$20 more than the minimum for the deal. By doing so, you will still qualify for the promo even if one or two games get rejected.

I sent in my games, all of which were in pristine condition with the original packaging, but they said that one game is damaged and is now being returned.
Always pack your games well. Put a lot of newspaper around your games in the box to secure them and to prevent any damages from haphazard box cutting. People in the past have requested their entire trade-in order if it’s obvious the damage wasn’t their fault, and Amazon ended up accepting the rejected game. This is YMMV as well.

Can I trade in multiple copies of the same game?
Yes. Once you click “Trade in” for a particular game, you may change the quantities.

How many multiple copies of the same game can I trade-in?
Maximum of 3 copies within 3 months period (This limit MAY also include prior "Cancelled Submissions - YMMV")

Will the Trade-in of the Day TIV stay for 24 hours?
It's been reported that there is a limit (maximum # of copies) that will get the promoted TIV so lock yours.

So if I find a good flip, I can just send 3 copies of that game and not worry about Amazon accusing me of stolen merchandise?
Technically yes, but do keep in mind that other CAGs might want to participate in the current deal, and trading in a large number of the same game will definitely lower the TIV of said game. Let’s be nice to other people.

Wow, these TIVs suck!
While that may be true, you will most likely save more money because of the trade-in deal coupon code.

What the fuck? The TIV of a game I just bought for this deal tanked! What do I do?
The TIVs on Amazon fluctuate depending on the number of trades that are submitted, and we really can’t do anything about it. The best course of action for trading in games is to lock in your trade if you already have the games or are absolutely sure that you can obtain them. You can always cancel the trade submission if you end up not finding the games.

LOCK = SUBMIT YOUR TRADE, Don't just put it in the cart.

So if I can edit a submitted trade, can I add other games that weren’t originally part of the submission?
No. Only quantities can be changed. Changing quantity to 0 means you're removing the game completely from the submission; which you can't add later.

If I change the quantity of a certain game I have already submitted for a trade, will I keep the same TIV?
No, It will change to current TIV for all games in that same submission.

Can I use the trade-in deal coupon on preorders?
Yes.

What happen to the Coupon code if I cancel the preorder?
The coupon code will stay with your account. It will be applied automatically at check-out as long as the coupon is not expired.

Trade-in coupon Usage:
1st Promo - $ 50 / $75 Coupon (Exp: 8/31) - Game Console Only
2nd Promo - 50 % Coupon (Exp: 8/31) - Game and Accessories
3rd Promo - $ 30 Coupon (Exp: 12/31) - Game Console, Game and Accessories
4th Promo - $ 30 Coupon (Exp: 12/31) - Game Console Only

Can I use the trade-in deal coupon when shopping from other merchants on Amazon?
No. ONLY ITEMS SOLD BY AMAZON.COM QUALIFY FOR PURCHASE WITH THE TRADE-IN COUPON. Even Amazon's other sites (Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.jp, etc.) do not participate in these trade-in deals.

Can I use my credit (not the trade-in deal coupon) on items that are not video game-related?

Yes. This is the other perk for trading in games at Amazon since you're not limited to just video games.

Can I use my credit on items sold by third-party merchants on Amazon?
According to the fine print of the Amazon gift card use, some merchants are excluded. Your best bet is to try it on the checkout page of your order.
There's no need to make additional accounts. The second line of the details says "In the case of multiple trade-in orders, the coupon code will be given for each qualifying order that is received.". That makes it pretty clear that you can get multiple codes.
Hmmm well then.

I guess Goozex will have to take more of a loss of my trades, I want to get another $30 code so I can get the CE of Dragon Age Origins. Already planning on using my first one on the Demon Soul's Deluxe.

update on my situation (for anyone's reference)

i sent off my two trades in identical boxes last last monday at the same time, same post office on the west coast. one had fnr4 and the other had sf4. i got credited with fnr4 a week after i sent it off. it confirms another's west coast (CA) cager's turnout around time of a week. but the strange thing was that i kept getting didnt receive shipment on the other one. two days later i got an email with the code from the first shipment. update - a few days later, today, i got the trade confirmation on the latter one. the only thing that i think of processing the two separately was that fnr4 had a week earlier transaction deadline than sf4. or maybe the mailwoman just kept street fighter.
Hmmm.... That's odd. I sent in 10+ N64/SNES games last month and they accepted all of them. All but one were game cartridge only.
I still have one more order of strictly SNES games, so we'll see.

This one was strictly N64 games.

I wish them luck in finding cases/manual trade ins for older systems where the boxes weren't made of plastic. ;)

this has probably been asked but are these 30% off coupons 1 per account or 1 per household or what>

1 coupon per order, and that's it, unless amazon has changed their policy in the past like...2 days. Multiple people have gotten many coupons, all on one account.

Not only was this asked, it was asked like 3 replies ago.

Just read this on their page

-Limit one discount per household, per qualifying order.

I think I will try it anyways.

I hadn't been paying much attention to the Amazon trade-in's before. What were some of the earlier deals they were offering before the extra $30 for $60 worth of trade-ins?

The one before this one was 50% off any game or accessory purchase if you trade in $50 worth. It was supposed to be one per household but some people got more than 1. It could be used on Beatles Rock Band SE and other expensive things. (I got Beatles RB SE for $99.99 after the code + ECA discount).

The one before that was $50 or $75 off a console or handheld purchase if you trade $50 or $75 worth. I got the $75 and haven't figured out what to use it on yet (have till the end of this month to use it). I'll probably just get another DSi.

Before that I couldn't tell you. I know the initial one wasn't all that great and I didn't start paying attention till the $75 system one. I'm glad I did as then I was all ready to pounce on the 50% off one which was one of the best trade-in promos I've ever seen at any store. The current one is pretty nice in and of itself though. I can't see how they can top the last three and I'm sure the next one (if there is one) will be disappointing in comparison. Hopefully I'm wrong though ;).

Thanks io!

Too bad I missed the earlier ones. At this point do you think its worth doing this deal or holding out they might do something better next time?

Had to bite on Resistance 2, that's one I've been tempted to trade off in the past anyway. It, Bionic Commando (went up to $15) and Red Faction: Guerrilla got me to $66, so that works. :)

I think I pretty much answered that in my last couple of sentences there ;).

I wouldn't wait. HOWEVER, what you could do is something someone else suggested a page or two back. You could wait till near the end (say Aug 30th or so) and submit a trade (or two or three) right before the promo ends. You'd still have a week to mail the games in. If they then come out with some awesome new promo that blows this one away you can just cancel those and resubmit under the new promo (note that the base trade-in values may change though). If there is no promo or it sucks, then just mail them before the original shipping deadline and you will get the $30 code(s).

Ahh cool thanks. I haven't done much trade-ins since back when there was a Gamerush near me and they had some pretty good deals. I just never know what to trade-in and what's a good "deal" haha.

Well, it's that special time of day! Anyone get any codes right now? If they are back on their 2-day schedule I'd expect 2 myself from trades received Tuesday. Nothing so far - maybe the big release of codes yesterday was all we get until later in the week.

Well without a coupon at gamestop, there aren't many good flips, but here are some decent ones to help reach minimum (i posted a lot of these earlier). Unfortunately though most are last gen so would be tough to find a complete copy. Prices are listed without coupon and no tax, sorted by profit. I put the ones most likely to find in bold.

FORMAT: (System) Game - Used/Edge/Edge+Coupon --> ATIV (Profit)

:xbox: Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue - 9.99/8.99/8.99 --> 11.25 (+2.26)
:ps2: Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - 3.99/3.59/3.59 --> 5.50 (+1.91)
:ps2: G1 Jockey 3 - 5.99/5.39/5.39 --> 6.00 (+0.61)
:ps2: Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories - 17.99/16.19/16.19 --> 16.50 (+0.31)
:psp: Silent Hill Experience - 5.99/5.39/5.39 --> 5.25 (-0.14)
:ps2: PS2 World Series of Poker - 6.99/6.29/6.29 --> 6.00 (-0.29)
:ds: River King Mystic Valley - 5.99/5.39/5.39 --> 5.00 (-0.39)
:ps2: Disaster Report - 4.99/4.49/4.49 --> 4.00 (-0.49)
:ds: Neves - 8.99/8.09/8.09 --> 7.50 (-0.59)
:ps2: IndyCar Series - 7.99/7.19/7.19 --> 6.25 (-0.94)
:xbox: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - 9.99/8.99/8.99 --> 8.00 (-0.99)
:ps2: Gradius V - 9.99/8.99/8.99 --> 8.00 (-0.99)
:wii: Ultimate Shooting Collection - 9.99/8.99/8.99 --> 8.00 (-0.99)

I hope a new coupon comes a long so I can get some filler items.

that kingdom hearts game is available online. Not bad since if its not complete I can always return it. But with tax nearly none of those are + flips
Resistance 2 trade in deal of the day - 28 bux. I am trading that game in. It was a fun game, but damn it didnt last.
Showing $26.00 for me.

Guys (thx v4oldboy for letting us know)... I called Amazon regarding the SF4 TE Stick and got the $20 credit. :) And the great thing is, it's $20 even, not minus 50% bonus, or ECA... so my SF4 TE, only cost:

$ 150 - $75 (50% coupon) - $ 15 (ECA Bonus) - $ 20 credit = $40.. :)

Anyway, you guys should call... here is my conversation:

Me: Hi, I'm calling about the price drop on SF4 TE stick. It's $20 cheaper now and it's less than 30 days since I bought it. Can you please do a "1 time" price adjustment for me?

CSR: I can't do it since Amazon didn't do price adjustment for over a year now.

Me: I never ask before, but this time it's pretty big amount.

CSR: No, I can't (she repeated the policy)

Me: Can you please transfer me to your supervisor ? Thank you.

She put me on-hold for about 2 minutes

CSR: I talked to my leadership team, and they said to go ahead and give you a "1 time" adjustment of $20. Bla bla bla (she mentioned the "1 time" exception numerous time.

SO CALL THEM UP GUYS>>>... Only took me 5 minutes.

Just unloaded a dust-collector, an impulse buy, and a stupid purchase for 61 bucks (plus the 30 dollar coupon)

Resistance 2 (beat 3 days after buying on release date, played online for a few months, now its collecting dust)
Killzone 2 (bought about two months ago, and not really into it)
Okami for Wii (already own Okami for PS2 and stupidly thought it would be better on Wii...its worse)

Still losing money on the deal because I paid $113.00 for the three (R2 - 59.99, KZ2 - 32.99, Okami - 19.99). I paid full price for Resistance 2 because I was oblivious to CAG at that point. But a $22 dollar loss isn't bad overall.

Just sent in my second package. First was for MW2 and this one has Uncharted 2 all over it. If I can send in a third it will be difficult to decide between Fifa and ODST.

I sent in a box full of trades from Hollywood Video. They all had the hollywood video cover art and black hollywood video cases. They all had the manuals and they were all in good shape. Some weren't in good shape originally, but they resurfaced them and they looked nearly perfect. Anyway, they were all rejected. It was worth a try tho i guess.

I submitted the 360 ones for $10 and the Ps3 ones for $8.25. Maybe I'll photocopy some covers at work and send them back in actual ps3 and 360 cases (if the TIVs don't tank.) Doesn't seem quite worth it to me though.

On a lighter note, my other trades were accepted (no hollywood video covers or cases), so I should be expecting 4 $30 off coupons. I'll let u guys know how long it takes for me to get them.

I'm planning on getting:
Modern Warefare 2 Hardened Edition
Arkam Asylum Collectors Edition
New Super Mario Bros Wii
And either Uncharted 2 or God of War III. I haven't decided.

Edit: Awesome! According to the delivery confirmation I bought, 2 of the boxes that I got giftcards for haven't been delivered yet. They must have teleported there or I'm a witness to something truly magical!

This deal is rather bogus. I tried to take advantage of the Uncharted game of the day deal from the other day and they sent my copy back due to it being the pack-in version from the bundle. I included everything (manual, disc, full case with cover, etc.) but they denied it due to being the pack-in copy. They need to make that much clearer on their site. Now if I can only get the thing back before my 7 day return for GS expires. :(

And I did the full game recommendation thing last week. It resulted in about 2 days of games in my quick picks. Then it reverted to crap again so enjoy it while it lasts. Mine just switched over from the office and computer supplies to this wonderful assortment: flea traps, an electric shaver, the same grill brush that was in my wife's picks yesterday, a body grooming system, a battery charger, Oral-B toothbrush heads, and something I can't even identify. So yesterday they tried to get my wife a raccoon grilling set (a trap + a grill). Today they seem to be saying something about my personal hygiene! :rofl:

I just wants some damn games mixed in there, is that too much to ask?
Somewhere along the line you did it wrong. I've gotten all games in my quick pics for the last couple weeks since I fixed my recommendations.

So here's one more thing to help you with your problem. Go to the Recommended For You section (Your Accout>Recommended for You>See All). At th bottom of each item it displays, it says exactly why it is recommending the item. So for everything you're getting that isn't a game, find out what's causing that recommendation and fix it.

No offense, but really, you guys need to read more before recommending how everyone fix their quick picks. People do that, they have done that, they've done it 10 times over the past two weeks(I know, I'm one of them). And all I have to show for it today is two books on my one account; baby wipes, oral b toothbrush heads and 2 other craptastic items on the other.

has anyone confirmed on the ups shipping yet? If we already locked in our trade, can we still change shipping methods (from usps to ups)?

Yep, I have yet to figure the exact reason out myself. I have five games total in my recommendations and nothing else, yet I continue to get unrelated items in my Gold Box. So, there is no option for the "fix".

I haven't been reading this thread religiously - can anyone physically confirm that they have received multiple $30 trade in codes? I've seen several people say they have sent out multiple trades, but I don't remember seeing anyone confirming receiving more than one promo code. I sent out a couple of trades already, but only one for this promo.

Submitted my trade-in yesterday, dropped off at a UPS drop-box today:

Fallout 3
GTAIV
Left 4 Dead
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
Loco Roco 2

All complete w/ manual, insert, & overall good disc condition...so none SHOULD get rejected

should net me $90.50 Amazon credit....hope I don't regret this, FO3 was the bomb

UPS shipping has been confirmed, but can only be chosen during the finalizing of your order. In other words, you cannot change shipping methods once you've placed your order.

This does really suck and they need to make that clear. The do not say that these will be denied. A little more detail in their trade-in FAQ on this point would be nice.
Don't the pack-in's say not for resale? That should have been clear enough
That's meant for retailers so they don't split up bundles and sell them as separate items. The manufacturer/publisher doesn't want a retailer making more off of it than the "discounted" bundle price. Once it hits the secondary market that statement is moot.
The minimum requirement for the case seems to be that it has to have the UPC barcode.

Pack-in games don't typically have them.
This does seem to be an unwritten requirement. Places like Gamestop and Gamecrazy (though not Blockbuster - they also require UPCs on trade-ins) take them no problem of course so most people wouldn't know that without having seen it discussed here.

Dude, others have covered it, but... my RECOMMENDATIONS are several pages of nothing but video games. The problem is that the "Recommended For You" section means jack squat, apparently, when it comes to Gold Box quick picks, which is where I want the games to show up. I have all sorts of awesome "Recommended" items. For example, Demon's Souls LE is usually the first one on the list. I have long since cleaned out every single non-game item.

Edit: :whee: Well, my quick picks updated earlier than usual today (usually it is after 4pm Pacific or so). TODAY I have NSMB Wii in there - awesome, that was one of my top priorities: $44.64 - $30 - ECA, sweet!
I have gotten 6 now ;). I did not get any last night though from my trades accepted Monday. I asked this then, but did anyone get any last night or have they gone to some sort of once a week code sending procedure now?

Also, today I just got 4 more trade-in confirmations ;). That pretty much covers all the pre-EO/SW trades.

WTH we slipped to page 2! Someone tell MS to drop the price of the 120gb HDD! We have a drop of the Elite system to $299 occurring on 8/30. So hopefully something else happens to the price of the HDD (or maybe even a new HDD) for those of us with 50% coupons expiring on 8/31 :whee:

In other news the Zune HD is up for pre-order on amazon and so is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2...kinda. Still no signs of a collectors version of Sigma 2.

$220 16gb Zune HD
$290 32gb Zune HD

:ps3:
$60 Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

fuck, fuck, fuck!

I finally get a AAA item in my Gold Box and now the DAMN ECA code won't work.

It is not refreshing the code and it says the one I have has already been used :bomb:.

Edit: OK, it finally worked. This here is what makes this trade-in deal so incredible:

Subtotal of Items: $46.99
Shipping & Handling: $4.49
Gold Box Discount: -$2.35
Super Saver Discount: -$4.49
Pre-order Guarantee: -$0.00
Promotion Applied: -$4.70
Promotion Applied: -$30.00
Credit Upon Ship: -$0.00
------
Total: $9.94
Gift Cards: -$9.94
------
Total for this Order: $0.00

So even if this was credit I transferred from GS at a small loss (like the 2 x FNR4 they just accepted) it was well worth it.

:argue:

No offense, but user error accounts for the vast majority of problems like these. Anyway, I've bolded the section you apparently missed. If it tells you what's causing the bad recommendations and you still can't figure out how to fix it, you're beyond help.

watcher0 - the thing is, most of us have ALL video games in the "Recommended for You>See All" section so there's nothing that can be done to get rid of the baby wipes and flea traps and whatnot that shows up in the Gold Box picks invariably anyway. What you don't get is that it is not bad recommendations that are the problem - it is bad gold box quick picks! If my gold box picks revert to crap tomorrow I'll screen cap my "Recommended for You>See All" section and compare and contrast it to what the quick picks are. (Now, granted, there are probably some people out there who have not pruned their recommended items to just video games so it is till useful info but it certainly does not solve the problem once and for all).

-----------------

But back to my fluke of an all-video game gold box selection for today:

So I have an interesting assortment of stuff in my Gold Box quick picks today...

In addition to NSMB Wii, I have the following: Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain, God Hand, Radiata Stories, Star Ocean (360), Retro Game Challenge, Devil Survivor, and some DS game I've never heard of called Nostalgia.

Funny because I just received Devil Survivor from Amazon TODAY (ordered on my wife's account when it was in her Gold Box picks). I already own Radiata. I think I'll have to fine tune a bit more to tone down the PS2 stuff. But I'm really tempted by Star Ocean. Like NSMB, it is $44.64 after the Gold Box discount making it $9.94 after ECA + $30 coupon. But I currently only have 1 more $30 coupon to use (should get lots more but I never count on that). This game might be dropping soon so I'm not sure that's the best use of it. On the other hand, if I do get all the codes I expect to get, then I'll have wished I used one on this... Hmmmm... :whistle2:k.

What an idiot.

Yeah, I'll admit the quick picks is really testy. One shirt in your saved cart can turn it from all games into random apparel. Also, if you buy one version of a game, you're still subject to being harrassed with the 4-8 other versions and the game guide as well as other merchandise. I purchased a couple DVDs and started getting books in the same genre.

Of course, using the recommended section to figure out what was giving me unwanted recommendations allowed me to fix it so that I've had all games in my quick picks for weeks on end. Particularly after going through and adding all the things I already own, some nice stuff has shown up. Now I'm going to move on to trying to intentionally get something specific to show up in my quick picks....

Does anyone know how these "recommendations" work? I mean to the base them off of past purchases?

Because as of late, the only thing I've been getting all week have been Textbooks, coffee, and Nine Inch Nails' albums (seriously, everyday I've gotten a different NIN album)...

I thought that I was the only one getting random stuff in my quick picks, but I guess not. I've pruned all my recommendations and stuff I own to be video games only. I think it may have helped a couple days to add some more games that I own (even pre-orders) to get games back in my quick picks.

Well this freaking sucks. I sent in $50+ worth of games last month to get that 50% off coupon. I sent them out on the very last day I could, but the post office wouldn't allow me to add delivery confirmation or anything to the order. Now my account is updated yesterday as the deal being "expired", so I contacted Amazon. They're saying that the trade-ins were NOT postmarked within 7 days (even though I know full damn well I sent it out on the seventh day), but I've got no proof showing I sent it out on time. Not only that, but my trade-ins were rejected about 10 days or so ago they said, but I never got a damn e-mail or anything telling me that.

So now I've got no coupon, no Amazon credit, and the TiV's of my games are worth less now. Amazon says they can't do anything for me since this thing is handled by a third-party. Assuming this third-party is telling the truth about the package not being postmarked within 7 days, the only thing I can think of is that the post office threw my package in a pile, but didn't postmark it until the next day. I guess I'm gonna have to call them tomorrow and file a serious complaint.

I REALLY wanted that damn coupon. :bomb:
