Sounds reasonable...
I just tried charging it with the AC adapter from my Jawbone - didn't work. I still have an adapter in the car, I'll give it a shot too (since I know it works, never used the Jawbone one before).

The bundle scanned at $40 and I mentioned that it should 50% off, the cashier and the manager did a manual override.

You could use the iPod charger - the main thing is that whatever you plug the USB cord into HAS to be plugged into the wall.
 
WOOT! My 3rd one works! I got it at a different BB. Is it possible that those big round security locks strapped to the box's chest interfered with the device?

I doubt it, but it's pretty unlucky that it took me 2 extra trips to best buy to get one that would simply show a sign of life

yeah endwar isnt even on bestbuy.com anymore but there is still one copy in my best buy just hanging on the regular CE games shelf...im gonna try and get it for $20 tomorrow even tho its marked at 40
 
Is the Endwar/Headset bundle worth $30? Is the headset the official Xbox one?

The manager at my local BB will sell me the EndWar/Headset bundle for $30 but no lower. I'd like to hold out till $20 but seeing as it's not on sale yet I don't know if/when it will drop past $30.
 
I thought I had seen Endwar (360) at my local BB recently, so I just looked on their site & according to their site it is available at the two BB's that are like 5-10 mins from my house. They are at the N. Academy & New Center Point (Powers) stores in Colorado Springs, Co.

I still haven't decided if I'm gonna pick it up, i already have a wireless headset for the 360 that works great. Interestingly enough i picked up my head set awhile ago & the charger for it plugs into the wall & not USB. I'm trying to decide if i'd like to have a USB charger instead.
 
Popped on over to the Best Buy in West Simsbury, CT and saw some interesting deals. TOTALLY outdoing GameStop, there were copies of Guitar Hero 3 with guitar for PS3 discounted to about $7.98 (that's no typo). They also had the set with two guitars for around $15, I think, and about three or four PS3 Rock Band kits for only $41.

Also of note: Prince of Persia for DS, $9.99.
 
I got a headset that doesn't work. Rats! Going to see if they will exchange it for an on the rack model.

Wait, so lets say i get one that works from another bundle, how long is it going to work since it seems these all suck.

I was just about to post that i just recieved mine and the headset is DOA. Now i will be heading to BBY this weekend in hopes they have more otherwise i will be returning it. :(
 
Just came back frm Best Buy in Newington, NH where they had a rack of games (all systems) for $19.99 each including:

• Left 4 Dead (360)
• Prince of Persia (PS3)
• Saints Row Collectors Edition (360)
• Resistance 2 Collectors Edition (PS3)
and a slew of others including DS titles

I picked up Left 4 Dead for a friend I've been bugging to get so we could play online.
 
Did a search and didn't see anything, so I apologize if this is a repeat.

Just got back from the Best Buy in Macedonia, OH. TONS of clearance games at this store.

I picked up Valkyria Chronicles for $30. Sticker price $59.99, clearanced for 50% off sticker price. They had several others as well. Off the top of my head, they had RE5 collector's edition (sticker price $89.99, around $45 clearance) and Lego Batman (sticker price $39.99, around $20 clearance). I can't remember any others at the moment, but there were plenty.

This is the cheapest I've seen VC since the Gamestop sale. Was very excited to get it! I've heard great things about it.

Picked up Resistance 2 Collectors Edition for 39.99 and MK Vs DC Collectors Edition for 29.99. I saw Endwar bundles but the shelf tags said 49.99.

picked up my sims cards... finally... haha

and:
EndWar w/ Headset $20 (Still 2-3 left on the shelves)
Madden Collector's Edition 2009 $20 (At least 6 left)
Resistance 2 CE $20 (At least 5 copies of this left)

(Be sure to ask someone to get the pricing, as the rep and the manager both told me that they were trying to get rid of all these ASAP... hopefully someone will get it even cheaper!)

gotta love CAG. i've got a massive backlog of games.
 
Do you think my Best Buy would price match some of these deals? I just got back from 2 of them and I'm wanting Resistance 2 CE but they barely had them marked down at all. Can they look up the other stores that have $19.99 price and match it?

Found Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway (360) for 60% ($20.00 with discount) at Village Crossing Best Buy in Skokie, IL. They had a couple left.

Also there were some other assorted games for 60% off. I didn't get a good look at what they had because they were closing when I got there.
 
For anybody in the Southern California (San Fernando Valley) area,I checked all best buys and none had any cleareance sale items.I only found cleareance sale at the Best Buy in Glendale Los feliz.Theres not much left for ps3

I just picked up Saints Row 2 CE ps3 for 19.99.....there was one left
 
I found my first BB YMMV sale today and it was really not great. All GBA and Xbox games were $2. GBA games were a BMX game, a poker game, a bunch of board games (connect four/perfection/trouble, mouse trap/operation/simon & a few different Uno variations), and pong/asteroids/yars' revenge. I think the only xbox game was a poker game. One PS1 game on the table as well (101 Dalmations I think). Picked up pong/etc, connect four/etc, and mouse trap/etc. Figured those were the only one I could even get $2 of fun out of.

try and ask, they might mark 'em down.

when i got there, they weren't listed as $19.99 each.

all i saw was a poster saying $19.99 for endwar with purchase of a 360 console, and resistance 2 CE for $15 with purchase of ps3 system.

edit: i actually intended to pick up L4D since i saw someone had gotten it for $19.99... no dice tho, as it's still listed at $49.99 for regular and $59.99 for "goty" edition.....boo :(

I apologize for not posting this earlier, but I haven't been near a computer and my phone's browser has issues with posting. Cool Springs (Nashville area), TN has had some 50% off racks for a couple of weeks now, and I wasn't biting, but I was in the area and decided to check for penny guides. If I had remembered that they were out of penny guides the last time I was there, I would have missed out big time. They switched all the 50% off to 75% off. By the time I left, most of the good stuff was gone, but they did still have several Hell's Highway CE (forget price), a bunch of Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 CE (forget price), and 4 Grand Theft Auto IV CE ($17.50 after discount), all for 360. They also had a bunch of different guitars, and 1 copy left of Singstar v1 bundle ($15 after discount) for PS3.

My pickups (prices are after discount):

Sega Superstars Tennis (PS3) $5 (last one, I think)
Syphon Filter Dark Mirror (PSP) $3.75 (at least 1 left)
Dragon Quest IV (DS) $7.50 (a few left)
Tecmo Bowl (DS) $7.50 (You'll notice the price has gone back up since the universal $10 clearance sale)
Eye of Judgment Bundle (PS3) $17.50 (last one. Saved me from continuing to try to find it at different Walmarts. None left. Sears Rivergate has a couple for $30, if you are having trouble finding it.)
Tom Clancy's Endwar CE (360 and PS3) $10 each (They were marked $89.99, and I was thinking, for $22.50, the headsets are worth it. If I had realized they were $10, I would have grabbed another for a friend, but it was already gone by the time I found out. None left)
Facebreaker (360) $5 (tons left)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (360) $10 (a couple left)
Flash Focus (DS) $5 (Tons left)
Spider-Man Web of Shadows (360) $6 (a few left)
Nights (Wii) $5 (not sure how many left)

They had some older sports games (08 basketball titles for ps3, fifa street 3 for ps3), Blitz 2 (360), Drum King and Ultimate Band (Wii), a ton of different plastic guitars, and a few 75% off guides (I remember Dead Space was one), and some other DS games, and games for other systems that I don't recall. Also, I think they had World at War CE for windows, but I can't swear to it. One woman grabbed a ton of PS2 dual shock 2 controllers, not sure if there were any more. If I don't come to my senses, I may go back tomorrow.

yeah the SoCal BBY rarely have those...last I saw of the EndWar bundle was at $40 and they were GONE.


has anyone else in SoCal seen any of these deals? Especially in the IE?
 
at the bestbuy at valley i saw a BUNCH of animal crossing + wii speak for 35 (normally 70, but 50% off)

I also saw death Jr @ 50% off...and thats all i remember.. there were also some 360 games on the shelves...but since i do not own a 360, i did not take inventory of them

Nowadays yes. It was a Best Buy exclusive for the first shipment of Crisis Cores they got in (kind of like the Xenosaga 3 hologram cover edition).
 
I got Resistance 2 CE here in Spokane, WA (in the valley) for $55.99. They had 5 yesterday, went back to buy it today and there was only 2 left. Hurry hurry! :)
