I'm disappointed in Best Buy this year. Except for some DVD Deals, their ad sucks.

The only thing I see is CoD2. Other than that i's mediocre.

There's one game I can't make out in the ad that's on the second or third page. it's at the top but it was cut off by the scanner. The game on the left is Destroy all Humans. That's $25 I think. But I can't figure out what the game on the right is for $30. And they don't list it on BFAds.net.

But last year was definately better. They had the good GBASP bundle. And while their DVD variety is better this year last year they had better prices. Season 1 of $24 was only $13, as was Will and Grace.

Never mind, I just figured it out. It's Xmen Legends 2 for $30.

Does anyone have any comments on that 64MB memory card? I usually sy away from going anything other than first party. But I need a new memory card for my PS2. And I can either spend $30 on the 16MB two pack or spend $15 on the 64MB 3rd party card.

i saw alot of games i would love to grab at Best buy (hopefully they have them saturday)

1. that horseracing game that i said sucks. 9.99 BUT if i can use the 5 buck off coupon I will grab it just to grab it for 5

2 They have 3 or 4 2 pack of games for 9.99 Again use the 5 buck off coupon and get 2 games for 5

3. world champion ship poker 9.99 again 5 bucks off = 5

i probally grab one or two of the 9.99 2 packs friday and go back saturday for the horseracing game. I think there will be plenty of horseracing games left

so far the only place i see going so far is Best buy the day after thanksgiving
i want that 400 bucks camcorder for 250..

only ads left that i care to see is JCPENNY (want to see if snowglobes) and Ebgames and meijers and CC

overall though I will admit this Black friday dont seem that good.

what sucks is BEST BUY OPENS AT 5am meaning I will need to get there by 4 and get up by 330
 
last year Fry's has the best deal. I got baten katios and shadow hearts 2 for $25 each. Great deal at that time.
 
I am sure walmart has been told to NOT sell the backlit SP's for that day, but it will be very interesting if someone manages to con them into selling a backlit sp, it is possible they might remove the backlit sp's from the shelves as well that day, and just stick out the old front lit sp's.

And for anyone thinking of buying an SP, go for the backlit, i am serious, once you get the backlit you will never ever go back to the frontlit one. I have a backlit SP, sold my frontlit on ebay as quick as possible before people realized the difference, and i would never go back. The frontlit screen doesnt look much better than the screen of a game gear. When you see the backlit screen you will NOT regret your purchase trust me, 50$ is a total ripoff on the price of the old SP, it should be like 10$ cause thats all the quality of the lighting is worth. I cannot even describe how nice the backlit SP looks, you have to see it for yourself to believe me!

If your buying the SP as a gift for some kid thats gonna destroy it, get the frontlit, cause a kid will care less about the backlit screen, as long as they have an SP they will be happy.

I know my parents are going to try and get the 51" at Sears, as for me I think I am heading to Best Buy again, unless Frys can pull through on some amazing deals.
 
Im a manager at a Target and ill drop a post if someone hasn't on Monday, we are supposed to get our 2-Day ads in that day to prepare for our Friday and Saturday sale.
 
Does BB, CC, or K-Mart ever sell or have their videogames available online for the same price on BF?

There hasn't been a K-Mart around here since I was a kid. Most going out of business like 10-15 years ago. Thanks to Wal-Mart SuperCenter, IMO.:bomb:

Most places that I have lived in, if they do have a K-Mart it's a small operation at best, with next to nothing.

And BB/CC are about 30 miles away, a 45 minute drive there and back. So anything I bought I would have to add the cost of about $30 in gas, no point in going.

I wish Target.com would start getting the same prices as their ad deals too.:roll:

Hopefully there will be better deals out by the time BF comes around, but if that's it, it's kinda good for me in a way. I'm low on funds anyway.

man this will be the first time in 7 years that i just hit Best buy at 5am and then go back home by 6 or 7 am There is nothing this year
 
I'm thinking the most I'll do is hit up Ebgames for Metal Gear Solid 3, so far, meh. I'm holding out hope for a Nintendo DS deal, though.
 
The Gamecube bundle in BB is 99.99 for black friday. It says it comes with a coupon book any idea what coupons are inside of it. I want the mario bundle but I am not to sure if I should wait for a good deal for black friday as there doesnt seem to be any.

the deals seem just ok this year on video games. I'll be working on Black Friday so I am glad I'm not missing much.

probably will save up for the DVD sales on Black Friday
 
Does anyone know the price for a normal gameboy advance (the original model), if its 19.99 the gba + free pre played game would be a pretty sweet deal.

Used DS can be anywhere from 99.99 to 119.99 (its 119.99 at the ebgames store i frequent).

It looks like a $10 rebate for the Sandisk 512MB memory stick pro duo in BestBuy's BF ad. If there is a Staples B&M in your area, I believe they will also carry a similar deal on Black Friday ($30 after rebate). Good luck.
 
Just to let you all know, K-Mart has already caught the Battlefront 2 error, and while it's too late to change the ad they will probably be sending signs out to the stores letting them know it's supposed to be Battlefront 1.

YMMV, you may still get lucky and get a cashier who dosen't know any better, the odds are still very much in your favor.
