Official CAG Black Friday Video Game Deals Thread

I was at CC today they are not even doing pricematching now and if they are they will give you a hard time. I tried today lady kept arging with me I said forget it and walked out.

Retail clerks are hell this time of year overworked and low pay.

It doesnt say that the original gba is included in the 14.99 or less free pre played game offer with purchase of system, as it does in the ebgames/gamestop deal thread, so i have to assume its not included.

For those that dont know the original gba is priced at 19.99 at ebgames and gamestop and getting a 14.99 or less preplayed game with it would be like getting a 5$ gba.

I just came back from Wal-Mart, saw a pallet with at least 100 GBASP, all had the brighter screens, each box had one color, all 4 were available...confirmed 48.88, the UPC is different than the ones in the case but they WILL adjust the price if you want one from the case.

I hear a little rumor from my friend at Walmart that the pink Nintendogs bundle will be $129..

Mind you, the pink bundle is super rare, if you could catch some it's a great deal for yourself, for gifts, or yes, for ebaying.

These $10 at CC are probably all I'd be getting games-wise:
Warrior Within PS2 & Xbox
Super Monkey Ball Junior GBA
THUG PS2

Thanks for compiling the ads, Cheapy, and thanks to the others who posted the ads themselves.

Download the CAG Black Friday Video Game Deals in Microsoft Word format for easier printing. I just copied it directly from the thread and turned the text to black because it prints out gray and also eliminated all the other stuff. So you can highlight things you want to buy and take it with you on Friday. Hope all my CAG brethren have a Happy Turkey Day. The CAG Black Friday DVD Deals is in the DVD section.

thanks might pick up 3 games tomorrow if i get home around 7 .. hopefully the 3 games im eyeing will still be there

Just have a random question if anyone has any experience with this. I want to get a t.v. at both BB and CC but I never bought from there. So my question is how do you get it, is there tickets next to the t.v. or do they have the t.v.'s physically out there to grab or what. It's going to be insane tomorrow so i'd like to know in advance before there all gone, thanks!

Normally you pay for it in the tv section and you bring your reciept to the front customer service desk and they get it and load it into your car.

I saw that KB toys had $20 free gift cards if you spend $100 dollars, but it excludes video games and hardware. What are the chances they wont know and give you the gift card? Or does the computer tell them when to give them out?
In the Groove bundle (2 pads and game) is only $29.99 at Best Buy for Black Friday.
Can't find that on the site or in the ad...confirmation please?

I saw it too. It's on the front page.
Which front page? On the front page of the ad it has the 360, and on the front page of the site I can't find it either...
I have an ad that is a tall skinny ad. Not the usual short wide one. Maybe there are different ads. Mine, I think, has different stuff like computers, games, TVs, etc on the cover.

Just kidding, I found it - I was looking at Sunday's ad

MGS3 for $9.99 = INSTANT WIN. I was going to wait for Subsistence, but this deal is just too good to pass up.

Dammit - Red Octane bundle's the only thing I'm interested in, and I have no way of figuring out if my BB has any in stock...I don't want to go early only to not come back with anything

Gamecrazy is the one you want. I went to one today, and the new games weren't actually physically marked down, but I was shown a list literally about 12 pages long of games that would ring up at $17.99 - making them eligible for the Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale. I got Suikoden IV and Galleon, and there are a lot of other choice titles in the mix - Star Ocean, Sly 1 and 2, F1 2002, Rallisport Challenge 2, Outrun 2, even Ikaruga (if you can find it).

Edit: Oh, and they already marked The Bible Game down to $17.99 too. LOL..

I thought only the "old" GBA SPs are $48.88 and not the new brighter screen ones (aren't there only 2 colors for these new ones?).

I believe the new updated GBA SPs only come in three different colors, Pearl Blue, Graphite, and that Spongebob Squarepants one.

Anybody know if you can get the BF deals at Walmart from midnight tonight if your Walmart is open 24 hours?

I'm planning on PMing just about anything I want there.
If you want a new one you''d do bets at CC. I think they said "ANY" GBASP plus two free games for $68
Both the Target (Super Mario Advance 2, case, car charger) and CC (Zelda Four Swords, Pitfall, headphones) are any GBA SP, as far as I know. I'm going for Target, since that game is on my list and I don't really have much need for the headphones (won't be playing it at work or anything)

it wasn't in the original post and i don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but sam goody's has tony hawk american wasteland (ps2 and xbox) and blitz: the league (ps2 and xbox) for 29.99 each until noon friday.

Ditto for Media Play...although Sam Goody's/Media Play are same corporation so it makes sense.

It's been a few years since I was impressed by Black Friday ads- the online get Vice City for $5 and Max Payne 2 for $20 (both for PC, both brand new at the time for the PC) was a great deal. This other stuff is, well, meh at best unfortunatly.

I mean, where's the great deals like:

Battlefield 2 for the PC, $20 DVD version, Quake 4 Collectors edition $20, X-Men Legends 2, Stubbs the Zombie, Destroy all humans for X-Box $10 each... sigh, thats the black Friday I can only dream about.

back to World of Warcraft... sigh...

What time does BestBuy open?(central time)

Is the ebgames.com/gamestop.com deals from 7am EST, Central, Pacific?

Thanks for anyone that can answer my questions.
It scks that the Xmen Legends 2 is only the PS2 version at BB. I wanted it to be both.
Totally. That was the only game deal I was interested in, but only if it was the Cube version. Arrgh.

Waking up early to get to BestBuy, picking up CoD2 (24.99) and a 1 Gig SD card (60-20rebate), and maybe a few movies then driving home for 6 hours :)

Anyone think BB will PM Wal-Marts SP deal?

Best Buy seems to have updated their site for BF. It's very slow, but I just ordered the Chappelle Show Season 2 for $14.99. It also says "all games on sale", but I think it's a standard 5% off...
