I had to call customer service when my CC number was stolen and got new cards. The CS rep went through all my preorders and changed the card number. I did notice that both cards are on each item so only time will tell if it worked but its worth a shot to call.

It wasn't a CE, but I had Monster Hunter 4 preordered with an old card. I got an email from Best Buy telling me to update the card. I was able to do it online and the game shipped later that day.
 
I'm curious to see if I get my Batman. I was able to place an order for store pick up (even though the reps on the forum said you couldn't) and this was all during the same time that BB's website had gone to hell.

Tons of people were having problems logging in (reps had to keep "unlocking" my account whatever that means and that stopped me from being able to preorder for the PS4), but later on it had store pick up available for the PS4 and I had to do it as a guest.

So if everything works out I will also have to like rebuy it with my BB account because I want my BB points.

Do you guys think I should contact a rep now and see if they can move it over to my account or should I just wait it out and then return/rebuy - something like that?

What store did you do the in store pickup for?. I can double check to make sure it's showing in that stores preorder report. They won't have the inventory yet but will still let you if they are expecting it
 
Well I tried to OMS a Witcher 3 CE for :XB1: last night and no luck at the Concord NH Best Buy. Not sure if the girl was in the right system though as she mainly kept referencing that it was sold out on the website.

It hasn't been available in my area for about a week now. So very well could be sold out

That sounds promising! For some reason, I thought there was a more fatal bug in BB's system that basically was a guarantee that switching payment methods on pre-orders guaranteed a cancellation. My order is in the preparing stage and cannot be cancelled. That seems like a good sign! Maybe I'll call CS to just make sure, though I hate their phone support, they're rarely helpful / knowledgeable in my experience.

Somewhat related, I have an old preorder of the Arkham Knight LE for :pS4: when it first went up. I used a $30 cert. Was also able to PM the Walmart price mistake for this so I want to cancel the old order...will I get the cert back? Not sure since it would have expired long ago (my certs usually are only good for 2 months).

 
Stick boy, if it is possible to OMS either of the CE's for batman please keep us updated. I'll probably preorder a regular copy of batman for the cert then pick up a CE to keep if it's possible. (Similar to what I did for Witcher, since it seems Im always late on preordering). Thanks for all the help man. Appreciate it.

They should reissue them to you even if the date is expired. This is what happened to me with past cancelled orders.

OMS for Witcher 3 Collector's Edition is still alive in the my area (central NJ). I placed an order for a PS4 copy this afternoon. XBOX One version was also still available.

Got home delivery. I ordered at the In-store pickup window. The person knew exactly what I was asking for with OMS. When he initially put in the SKU number, an error came up. He somehow got around it. Not sure what he did.

OMS for Xbox one and PS4 still live in KS/MO as well. Just got around to fully exploring mine when I got home from work today, didn't realize it had a necklace and a second steelbook. Gets my thumbs up for the best CE in recent memory.

Yes, go online to your order management, add in the new card to your account and then update the order with the new payment method.

 
OMS for the XB one Witcher 3 may now officially be dead. Had 2 friends who wanted it after seeing mine that came earlier in the week. First one went to Bestbuy and successfully placed the order for the XB one version at around 4 pm cst. My other friend went to the same bestbuy store after work 30 minutes ago and it showed the Xbox one is unavailable and discontinued in their OMS system. It was even the same employee that tried to place the order so he knew what he was doing. The ps4 version still worked. Anyone else succeeded or failed with the Xbox one version after 6pm tonight. Let us know.

They have been going in and out of availability. Some more might pop up early next week Mon.-Tues. It also varies by region.

Decided to cancel my ESO also, game looks ultra shitty, and I already will have my hands full with Heavensward releasing this month.

Feels like they picked like the worst possible time to launch the game. Also, the Platinum trophy looks like it will require the highest possible lack of life I have ever seen for a Platinum.

Agreed. Have the Heavensward expansion incoming. I was shunned at work for saying ESO looks like a pile of crap. I haven't seen the list yet... are we talking 100% FFXI Xbox 360 bad? That was horrid.

Is the ESO collector's edition going to be available at any stores upon release (not pre-ordered)?  I wanted to get it from BB but I missed the boat.  It will be hard paying more at Target, etc., but I still might bite.  Thanks!

One of the trophies basically requires your faction to be the top PVP faction, PLUS you have to be #1 in the leaderboard for it.

So unless they reset leaderboards to keep it fair, it'll probably be one of the rarest trophies ever. PC players are saying even if you played 10-15+ hours daily you still wouldn't even be close

On the Playstation blog, they said more retailers would be coming soon, but they never specify who and when? So far it has been SE and Amazon, so I doubt it would be just these 2 locations, but who knows. Gs and BB seems logical, but all we can do is wait and hope if more retailers get added, we are at the right place, at the right time.

In any case, it sounds like these will be a quick sellout. Square Enix usually takes weeks, if not months, to sell out and I think it lasted a day there.

Also on the Sony blog, they state several times how "limited" this edition will be, so yeah, if it comes up again anywhere, I suggest those who are interested grab it quick.
