I have the LCE preordered from that BB glitch...but even at $125 I may just cancel it now.  Statue doesnt look that impressive and a fuck ing digital download is pretty shitty.

Still gotta install from the disk, plus any day one patch that may or may not be necessary, and the way my internet is working lately I need all the time I can get to pre-download...

I'm certainly not defending this decision though. They make it sound like the shipping of the LCE is out of their control and so they are forced to include a digital download token. Kinda goofy.

Well, I got the email at 1:00 PM and placed my order at 1:13PM, and based on when you got your order in, it seems like it listed roughly 20 minutes.

Not that great, I guess, but it seemed to be longer than last time it was restocked.

Oh well, either way, I hope they don't pack it like complete morons this time.

Takes a lot less time to install from a disc so that's not a good comparison. Day 1 patch ok but that still will have to download for the digital version too.

You missed the point, pre-downloading the game (from either the download token or pre-purchasing from the Xbox Store) means it's ready minute one. Unless you go to a launch party and they let you leave early so you can install the game from disk in time for "midnight" (that term is changing lately apparently) you can't play as soon as those who pre-install. Of course, this is Microsoft trying to sell the point and not me, I don't care that much about having a game ready minute one. :) I think I only care about canceling my LCE and just going for the LE.

But there is also the Web-In-Store preorder you're forgetting about. Anything bought Web-In-Store, including preorders, have to be paid in full up front. Amiibo hunters and those wanting the Zelda MM N3DS XL's recently had to go through that.

Only advantage is you could trade stuff in to help pay for it, and don't have to worry about a credit/debit card number change cancelling your order.

 
There is literally no reason to not include a disc...I was interested because the statue can be used as bookends...but not anymore...

ordered a ps4 mighty 9, not sure i'll keep it though.  digital will be $30 and cross buy i think, probably 10% promo for PS+ and no taxes, so is the statue worth an extra $25 or not... got 3 months to decide!
