LOL, so much for majora's  mask limited edition console/ game being limited. my local area's craiglist are flooded with listings of it.

this is the best one out of all of them:

I have a Majora's Mask 3DS XL that I'm selling for way more than I paid for it, because I'm a douchebag. Not only did I line up super early in the morning and listen to hundreds of earnest and genuine Nintendo fans share childhood stories about their favorite games, but I was able to snag multiple Majora's Mask 3DSes. I am a scalper; therefore, I am evil.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT DOUCHES, SUCH AS MYSELF, BY BUYING THINGS FOR MORE THAN WHAT THEY RETAIL FOR. NEVER EVER ENCOURAGE SCALPERS. THEY ARE SCUM.

If you all can deter yourselves from temptation, and from being ripped off, prices will drop. Nintendo will hear your pleas, just like they did with Ocarina of Time 3DS.

As for now, I am upping my price to $2000, because I am just a boss like that, albeit a douche, but a boss nonetheless; don't hate. Contact me if interested.

i traded mine in disc only too, the guy said at first its not in the system but i told him to look up just 1886 and that there was a typo in the name when i searched it before coming it, worked great.  Got the plat on it earlier today and uninstalled it, probably fastest turnaround on a game I have ever done.  I'm happy with paying ~$5 for the statue and steelbook.

I think the TIV is gonna hold for a few days though, usually they update prices on saturdays

yeah I think you should definitely see a lot of returns into gamestop/bestbuy of scalpers who bought the majora system and are unable to move it, so if you really want one may wanna become good friends with someone there and get a heads up when a return comes in.  

Not sure about the game LE though, that should sell out better I think since its cheaper and works on older models too

Picked up my order 1886 ce today from best buy and the damn fence piece of the statue has a pront cracked and bent so im not able to attach it without breaking the damn prong off. Welp tomorrow its back to best buy to exchange it for a new one. Hope they have more in stock :/

Just make sure to tell them to search for '1886' because it won't show up otherwise, and make sure before you sign on the electronic pad to get them to verify the GCU bonus applied. Also ask for a print out in case they don't give you one. I feel pretty good about getting more money out of selling the steelbooks on eBay.

lmao except trade ins doesn't track by accounts but by driver license instead so even if you used both accounts if you used the same driver license then the system will still flag it so might as well did it on same account then

Nope. The other GCU account was for my brother who drove me. He had to return something so I gave him the remaining copy while I went to preorder Dragonball Xenoverse with my newly earned credit.

I went back to my local bestbuy where I picked up my CE and told me they don't have anymore. This one dude told me only me and some other dude picked one up instore so I guess they only shipped out those that were preordered instore

That is really upsetting and really not promising. I guess they should be able to order a new one in for me right? I can only assume they would be that decent?
 
My MM new 3ds xl and CE game, that I ordered from GS, have been sitting in Memphis, TN for several days now. I previously had an alert saying it was postponed by weather, but nothing has changed since Thursday. It was originally going to be delivered Friday......

Anyone else having same issue??

No but, That is a terrible fate indeed.

I would probably try contacting them and asking what's up or even GS and see if you can get some form of compensation. Unless that warehouse fell into a sinkhole, I'd say it could have gotten lost. Something similar happened to me in 2013. I had a wind waker HD collectors edition that was still "out for delivery" till 2014. I never got it, just disappeared. I ended up with another one though.
 
Well I played, and beat Order.... Worst part was the ending came out of no where. 

This is truly the first time I'm pissed, and shitty with a game. Don't get me wrong the world is great. Art is a 10. I like the mechanics, but just WTF.

Also less QTE.

They're the same for one of the editions. Amazon has its own. So amazon offers two different editions.

The Import edition is a completely different statue, Scorpion looks sorta like an Assassin or movie/older game scorpion

the Coarse edition is a USA-based statue, Scorpion is modeled after in game scorpion

The contents are more or less the same afaik - both include the Kombat Pack which is 4 extra characters and skins. The import edition also includes a steel pack and card and a comic book, the Coarse edition includes an in game scorpion skin that looks like the statue.

So it really just boils down to which statue you like better I guess

 
@OP: Can you edit The Witcher 3's release date to 05/19/15? Crossing my fingers that the few extra months means people canceled their order, preferably PC.

I actually did that. They told me they are unable to order anymore and my options are basically return it for full refund or call up sony. I took it into my own hands, broke out the lady's hair dryer and heated up the prong enough so that i could move it back into place. It's not perfect but I'd rather own one than not. Still pretty shitty. I've learned to pre-order two of any CE's I buy there so that if one is botched I can exchange it :p

 
I preordered the Coarse at BBY, and the better looking one at Amazon. fuckin Amazon exclusive -_-

Anyone preorder, or get to preorder, the DB Xenoverse CE? I REALLY wanted that Trunks statue.

It is possible. Usually it will be Europe/UK only though, If its not and its available in North America, they usually announce it 3-7 days before release, 72hrs after you pre-order the standard copy, or 12hrs after it sells out online, or whichever of those is later. They often also announce that its only available at NWS, so there's that.

I don't think so... it's too popular of a franchise. People will be able to resell it even at MSRP so I doubt it hangs around to go on clearance.

Edit: It appears to be OOS; can't find "amazon" as the seller under other seller options

At amazon at least, when the CE is back in stock, it is about the same price the regular is being scalped for, if you don't want to wait for more stock of the regular in a few weeks, so why not.  Even bestbuy is OOS for regular.

What's odd is that I went to look for the regular edition of the game at BBY last week and they said that no BBY stores in the DFW area received them. What's odder is that I asked the guy about a raincheck for the game (with the $10 GC but didn't mention anything about the GC), and he said, ":blink:blink: No, because it's sold out." Sounds like that's the exact reason for a raincheck, but I wasn't in the mood to debate it.

 
Anyone know when Digital River started collecting sales tax? I just attempted to place a mock order at the Capcom Store and noticed they were charging sales tax.

They don't have a presence in my state (Maine) and they weren't even charging the correct tax rate (they charged 5.94%; sales tax is 5.5% here).

Edit: Nevermind; sales tax % is right if you calculate 5.5% on the amount and shipping costs (not sure if anywhere else charges sales tax on S/H)

Am I missing something? Does anyone know if other DR stores are doing the same thing?
