Same here...after watching a few more vids of FF 0 in action, i felt that it wasn't the ff game for me so I cancelled my CE from Amazon as well. Hopefully the newly announced ncedDragon Quest will be more to my liking.

Yeah I just canceled my Type-0 Collectors edition. For some reason, I thought the FFXV demo was exclusively to that, but reg. copies also include it. So I'll just pick it up for $48 with GCU and maybe play it for a bit before deciding if I want to trade in. The FFVX demo is all I want. (not a fan of DW series either; too mindless gameplay)

That MKX CE never piqued my interest. Maybe if it was Goro, but even then I'm not a statue collector

I'm almost finished with the second level in Hyrule Warriors but I'm still trying to muster any will to go back into the game again. Some objective to find another path along something and I can't figure out WTF to do. Maybe I'll open up that strategy guide I got from GS post X-Mas....that is after I finish Tales of Hearts R, the whole Ys collection, Monster Hunter 4, Ace Combat AHL+....

 
Why is homeworld desirable at $99? It is just a statue and a code for an old game, right?

EDIT: They had 20 available, so those went fast.

Single retailer exclusive CE that sold out months ago and apparently the remake is pretty well done. Also, the original games are classics and they never had a CE of any kind in the US.

Ok, amazon exclusive. That explains it. I played a lot of sierra games, but I don't remember this one. If it was grim fandango, I would be all over a CE.

As others have said, this was a classic in the genre and a lot of people's first introduction to a beautiful and immense 3D space RTS. I remember I was in awe of the game when it first came out and from all accounts, the remake is very well done and does the original game justice.

Even if was a collaboration of people, it would be hard to secure 20 a person. I'm not sure if Nintendo sold these to any retailers unless they were major such as Target, Amazon, etc.. If they did, they should be banned from ever purchasing again for selling at scalper prices.
 
Is it just me or are best buy's game cases/steelbooks a bit fat compared to other retailers'? My saints row 4, evolve, dying light, and the order 1886 copies were all protruding, fat and soft. Sounds dirty I know

I got a message from the SE store that said I will soon be charged for the Type 0 CE.

But I sent them an email requesting a cancellation a while back and I got an email back that said it was cancelled.

Any idea what I should do?

Try calling them, I called them since I got for cheaper at Bestbuy with GCU.

It wasn't that great of a figure for the price, it's only amazing now because its sold out and everyone's clamoring to pay $500 for it

cuz its been sold out for years and typically fetches somewhere between $800 - $1000 on ebay all across the globe. Part of the reason so many people were interested in the MM LE is because they are die-hard Zelda fans and missed out on the F4F Figure (at least that accounts for SOME of us).

Doesn't matter if they know as it's long sold out and goes for way more than what it came out for :p If you don't keep up with figure collecting with certain figures and don't buy something the year or maybe within two years that it's out, you'll never be able to buy it at msrp again unless they rerelease (and I don't think first 4 does rereleases).

Yeah but figure 4 has a pretty mixed track record in their figurines. When this came out everyone thought it wasn't worth 99 to potentially get a good statue. Turned out the statue was one of their best and thing steamrolled
 
So in regards to the GCU rules, I know it's now 3 per console for the limits, but is it also 3 per edition of a game?

I ask because I have the normal, and limited edition on reserve for arkham knight on Xb1 at best buy because I am a big bat-nerd. My brothers both now want to get a limited edition each. Can I still get two more or just one?
 
Its 3 per game per console. Limited or special edition, do not matter, they will count the same as a normal. So you can only get 1 more, unless you cancel the normal edition you got.

Alternatively you can buy 2 more ps4 version for the goodies and be good. And you know, share your copy of the game. ;)

Thanks to both of you for the answer. I thought that was the case.
Haha I am actually interested in playing the game and I don't want to share it with either of my brothers. They take very little care of anything even in their 20s. But if I were to buy an extra for goodies and keep my other sealed or something, yes I would work out a deal with somebody on here for the stuff I wouldn't need/want :p
