Probably right about a CE for TPP.  Glad I don't collect for the MGS series, more money I can throw at the ridiculous ClapTrap edition if I still go through with it :)

It could be had for under $10 a few times, but I thought they said it was not really a demo and is separate after all?

 
MGS LE's don't hold their values too well. I'd expect this one to be mass produced. The only one that was hard to find was the MGS3 LE. Even that one can be had for a reasonable price today.

Square Enix email me and offered for me to re-purchase KH HD 2.5 Remix Collector's Edition. They lost my shipment the 1st time I ordered.

 
Yea I'm going to preorder just for that. I still have the PS3 version that I got on launch for the artbook packaging and X-2 digitally on Vita that I haven't played too  :wall:

 
It doesn't have "exclusive to SE store" blasted everywhere so maybe we will get lucky with GCU lol. Just noticed it says Limited and not Collector's edition so maybe it will just be a pre-order bonus. 

Looks like it is a pre-order bonus. The PS4 version of the game also has the ability to switch between the remastered and original soundtracks for the game.

I tweeted them and told them not to forget that we like Steelbooks too, but I won't hold my breath.

Well, they didn't do any DLC for this game on the ps3 or vita did they?  Amano steelbook is pretty nice, might just be one to import if we don't get it.  

 
I was actually starting to get used to the idea of collecting their art book packaging. Not only does it look like they're abandoning that, but we get a calendar while Europe gets a Steelbook. Hopefully there is unreleased info about the US version and maybe a specific retailer is getting something that isn't a calendar.

 
Well - I was wrong about a CE announcement coinciding with the release date reveal for MGS V. Trailer leaked - but had no CE details.
Good news is the game is out on September 1. :)
 
Well, there MIGHT be some luck with us getting this a little easier via Amazon.co.uk which imports to US without issues (as opposed to GAME which isn't always a guarantee).

Here's the definitive answer (and also a good write-up from SE staff about the Steelbook if you care to read it)

The steelbook is available to all pre-orders of the game in PAL territories and that includes retail shops. It might take a little while for them to update their stores/systems but no matter where you pre-order the game, you will get the Limited Edition/steelbook. From Square-Enix staff:

The mothership is a fun light-up paperweight on your desk and...well that's about it. Still, I'm having a blast with the games and the model is nice (if you get a working one).

It would be more awesome if it were going to be announced for Xbox One, but my breath is not being held. :)

This is just another reason I need to get a PS4.
