Traded in my The Order disc only. Had troubles because the guy insisted it wasn't in the system. I knew I saw it on the Best Buy website for $40. So after walking away and search on my phone and not being able to find it, realized it said "HE ORDER". Went back to the counter, showed him, and he looked it up. Traded it in disc-only for $44. Got the statue and steelbook for just under $8.

My steelbook isn't as high quality as the steelbooks I own. It doesn't close right, and the hinges feel really flimsy.

yea the steelbook feels cheap. im gonna put up the statue up on ebay or something. have the game cheap.

Basically his arms ended at the forearm with stubs. I didn't ask questions regarding it as that would be rude, but it was quite impressive as he was able to open cases, get the disc out, scan the games, etc. The only thing I wasn't sure how he did was inputting the drivers license info.

Good on Best Buy for being equal opportunity, I have no clue if he still works there as the store is 45mi south of where I currently live.

That's actually not true. When there was a shortage of PS4 cameras they charged $10 over MSRP for new, sealed ones. I've also noticed that they typically charge $1-2 over MSRP for game figurines as well.

Still, you are right in that the vast majority of their stock, they don't go over MSRP. But for them, there always seems to be something that they are charging more for.

yeah, yahoo auctions probably had like 75% non-paying bidder rate. Truly the wild west.

It definitely looks well made and it's cool seeing the sculpture process. I still don't like the way it looks; I far prefer the look of the import statue. Just a personal aesthetic preference.
 
Are there extras of the collector's editions of the order instores because I paid off my pre order and they just grabbed one for me in the back. Maybe they just put them in the back so that they don't put annoying stickers on them or they're really only for those who pre ordered? Anyone know?

I saw one at Best Buy yesterday morning while I was there for the launch of new amiibo. They'll be getting at least one more too, as I forgot that I ordered it twice.

I got the same e-mail. Pretty irritating. Hopefully it ships faster than estimated, although I had a similar thing happen with my Disney Infinity 2.0 CE and it shipped almost exactly two weeks after release.

yea the irritating part to is I was hoping to have it already so I could beat it and trade in before the tiv drops to cause slim to none the tiv holds that long
 
I might have to get that Scorpion statue for my nephew.  I found out his karate instructor was Scorpion in the first MK movie, and he looks up to his instructor so this will be a good surprise for him.

I hope they will put an update where we can use the MK fight stick for PS4.

Did anyone who did ship-to-home get their Order CE yet? I was able to pick mine up in-store yesterday, but other friends of mine who had it shipped to their houses also got the "backordered" email.

I got my Order CE yesterday delivered at home from Best Buy, beat the game already after ~8 hours and going to go trade it in today while it still is $40 base TIV. Decent game but not worth $60 at all, I suspect the trade values will tank hard soon as everyone can easily plat it and there is nothing at all to do once you are done with the game once.

I think you'll see a ton of stock pop up at best buy soon as there is no movement at all on the item on craigslist (for me locally) or ebay. I put mine up last nite for sale at $60 used and got 0 offers (no dont PM me to buy it I don't ship stuff)

no the order and when did you recieve your MM LE? cause based on different threads it seems that best buy is putting alot of CE & LEs on backorder even before release all the sudden lately.

Same here I beat it in about 10 hours, and I explored everything and inspected most items. I can't believe that I got in on the price glitch at Best Buy, and even then it's barely worth it's value. I mean at least we can trade in the game and get equivalent credit, I guess we can write off the statue and DLC + stickers and steelbook as a freebie

i was supposed to receive it on last friday from bestbuy, but my usual UPS delivery likes to play games, and always claim package undeliverable. so i opt to pick it up on in my local UPS Hub yesterday. i also didn't preorder it after 30 mins after the preorder page went up on bestbuy.com. the warehouse person who is packaging it, went a little rough on the outer box, and left a small tear.

I was wrong about craigslist, someone who works at a store about 5 mins away from me msg'd me earlier and bought my extra new copy for $72 so if you have an extra copy or two you can try that route if you don't want best buy credit.  Could probably sell used one for $60 on CL if you don't wanna keep the statue/steelbook.  I did get a few lowball/trade offers so a lot of junk to wade through sometimes.

the plat is pretty easy i'd follow the item guide here so you don't miss any items, the game shows what phonographs you got on the pause screen but not what photos/documents/items, it took me an extra hour to go back and figure out what item i was missing.  otherwise super easy platinum, I got 90% of the achieves just playing and had to replay some missions a few times to get a few of the kill-with-weapon trophies.

Made it to Chapter 11 last night, I read there are 16 chapters but are some of the remaining ones just cutscenes? Trying to get an idea how much I have left to do.

Good deal. I'm actually enjoying the game quite a bit aside from a few parts that I scrubbed on maybe 5-6 times before completing. I'm awful at FPS on console so it's to be expected.

Just out of curiosity, why does this matter? I hear a lot of people talk about pre-auth on cards. Does it count against your available credit or is there something else?

 
I traded 4 copies of The Order 1886 in today.  No cases and that seemed to throw them for a big loop.  The guy was going around back looking for cases for at least 10 minutes.  No big deal to me tho, I was just happy to get out of there with 10% bonus.  

Just make sure to tell them to search for '1886' because it won't show up otherwise, and make sure before you sign on the electronic pad to get them to verify the GCU bonus applied.  Also ask for a print out in case they don't give you one.   I feel pretty good about getting more money out of selling the steelbooks on eBay.

I wound up enjoying The Order 1886 quite a bit, I'm holding on to the steelbook for now, and the statue went into the collection. Got my $44 trade in credit today and ready to hit the next one. Wish the FF Type O pre-orders would open back up on BB.com, I'd roll into that one.

Anybody getting the MKX kollectors edition through BB? Can't decide if that looks worth it or not.
