Play one or two of the back story ones if you want but if you get bored/frustrated I'd just stop.  I fully expect Phantom Pain to be absolutely terrible, given how long its been in production.

I think its also because its a kind of experience you'll never get elsewhere, I mean we still barely have games where your choices matter and in MGS3 you had 2 action dependent boss fights

I think the story in these games has gone to the gutter after 2, with 3 being saved with how good naked snake and the boss' relationship was portrayed. A lot of the cutscenes are indeed a convoluted and pointless mess, but I love the series as a whole a lot. Ground Zeroes was really fun and The Phantom Pain looks like it'll be great, kind of strange to say it'll be terrible because it's had a long production, the most famous games for being in production forever and turning out bad are really foolish to compare it to, DNF was tossed around so much it was a walking corpse that shouldn't have been released, and Gearbox neglected Colonial Marines for years and tossed it to someone else, and when they saw how terrible it was it was too late to fix it. Kojima has been handling MGS5 himself and what little we saw in GZ gives me a lot of faith.

Anyone know if the actual game is different than the UK one? Talking about the game itself like the language and stuff. I would actually like to play the game. I'm not talking about it being listed as LE, and that the UK LE we somehow cannot place the order for.

Glad I saw this. Dumb it says it can ship but won't let me. Put in an order on Amazon.de but sucks it comes out to $60 now instead of $52.
