I got a cancellation email from them. (Ordered LR CE 360 + PS4 Type 0 HD CE). Some crap about how my payment method wouldn't go through.

(I bought the Lightning Returns PS3 CE just a day before and it went through for $29.99. Received it, but with no lanyard as advertised and as on my invoice. Had to call them and have the lanyard mailed out.)

I called them this time and asked if I could get my order placed through or get a credit for a new order since the $10 off promo is gone and the LR CE is back to $79.99. Guy told me to just re-buy it all. No sir.

"Escalated case" and I don't have high hopes for them staying true to the original order or issuing me a promo/credit code. If not then ill just have to hope it comes back in stock elsewhere. I'm done with the SE store. 2 orders, 2 mess-ups.

Anyone order their Type-0 Collectors Edition before February 17, this would have been before they launched their new store. They had a single webpage where you could order it from. It was just like this one for the KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX Collector's Edition:

I ordered Type-0 CE on 12/12/2014 from a website just like the above. I can not find the website to save my life. I feel as though they killed it and put it on their store front again. 

My question is has anyone got shipping confirmations from orders that were made like this?

The Pepita Store was great whe I bought the KH2.5 CE, I even got it early. And everything was good with this until I was charged twice. They won't refund me until I receive my game cause they said I may be receiving two even though my order says one. I just hope my game gets here.
 
I preordered sometime in January and haven't received a shipping confirmation yet. I received an email stating that it would ship soon and I was being charged, but nothing else yet.

Edit: FF Type 0, whoops.

That's the LE I ordered. If you read the description it says, "Artwork from legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano graces this steelbook in anticipation for the release of FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 4."

So unless Amazon screwed up their own listing (which I wouldn't put past Amazon) then that is the one.

They said they were working on getting one here. I still don't understand why we didn't get a physical at the same time the Europe did. I almost imported one and then almost bought it digitally with the discount. Thankfully I have so much to play that I can refrain until we get a physical release here. :)

Amazon allows you to sign in with the same account you use in the U.S. As for AMZ credit, I don't have an answer. I used a CC. Maybe someone else can chime on that.

Edit: Looks like Mako1215 beat me to the credit question.

One thing I think hasn't been mentioned (apologies if it has), is to make sure the CC you use will allow an international transaction.  Amazon will charge you in GBP.  Some CC's will allow it and some won't.  Those that do may charge an international conversion fee as well.  Contact your CC issuer for more info.

I could be wrong, but doesn't amazon uk convert the charges to usd to avoid this problem? I remember waiting for the exchange rates to improve in the past and tracking the usd cost for the order.

You can opt to have Amazon.UK charge you in US dollars, but their exchange rate is far worse than any credit card fees you may pay for an international transaction. Last time I checked, their rate was almost 10% worse than what my credit card rate was for the conversion even when I included the $1.50 or so I pay for an international transaction.

 
Hmm...I had to go all the way back to 2013 (last order I did from them) to see what Amazon.UK charged me for my order.  I stand corrected.  It does look as though they charged my card in USD.  I would have to pull a statement to be sure.  However, bojay1997 makes a good point.  Amazon can add extra to the top if they want.  Still might be best to have it charge in GBP.

Yeah I know, GS sucks, blah blah, etc. But if you hate the SE store enough, both XB1 and PS4 FF Type 0 HD CE's are up on gamestop.com for $109.99.

 
I don't know about that even though I never had a problem with SE store, I would still not give gamestop 10 extra bucks. Hell even if I hated SE store I would still not give gamestop more than msrp cost. But I guess if you got a lot of credit there it wont be too bad as you can offset some of the price.

How exactly do you opt-in for USD charges because I need to do so because my credit card provider is going to put a hold on GBP charges.

Yeah, I just tried to order something that was in stock and it gave me the option when it asked me to select my payment. Kinda sucks it won't let me do so on the pre-order X_X. Guess I'll try preordering and see if it lets me change it later and just deal with having to call up my CC provider when they freeze my card.

After cycling the game in and out of my basket several times and going through checkout it finally showed why I wasn't able to pay in USD. Guess I'll just have to wait and hope it is still up for preorder 14 days before release ><.

yes pre-orders have never should a converted rate until release day actually comes

After cycling the game in and out of my basket several times and going through checkout it finally showed why I wasn't able to pay in USD. Guess I'll just have to wait and hope it is still up for preorder 14 days before release ><.

Why not just pick up an Amazon UK e-gift card for the amount of the pre-order and if you get hit with a hold it will be now for the giftcard instead of later for the game.

I just picked one up also, I'm getting the corso version at BB so this one not including the Kombo pack is ok for $60 less for what I think is a better statue. Why am I spending $300 on MKX? Probably because its been my favorite since the mk1 arcade back when I was 10ish. lol
