I have the Witcher 3 Collectors Edition for Xbox One preordered for in store pickup for $130 from Best Buy from many months back using GCU.

However with all of the dev's talk on how the PS4 has been easier to work with and smoother I would much prefer getting a digital PS4 copy since I own both consoles anyway.

Any suggestions on the best way to get both but only end up with the Art Book and digital ps4 game?

I rarely piece out CEs but I really want this artbook (and statue but money is tight so whatever) and so I didnt know if that was a regular thing here on CAG or where else I could look (obviously eBay but that is a last resort)

Also yeah wtf is up with Battlefield giving us instant access for stuff and that is it within the Premium version of the game??!?! My worst fears are already coming true that this game is going to feel just like BF and be even more money hungry. : /

They are selling the (or an) art book separate. "The World of the Witcher"

 
The best buy near me had Final Fantasy Type-0 CE for $100 (msrp) on the shelves, i didn't buy it since i don't plan on playing the game but for anyone who really wants one could swing by your BBYs and check.  Don't see it online so think you have to go in store to see.  $80 after GCU.

You'd be better of canceling the CE pre-order entirely and just using trades or something to acquire the artbook you want from it. There's probably no way you'd be able to sell off the remaining bits after taking out the book to end up with a grand total less than what it would cost to buy the book itself.

I'd suggest hitting up the trade section and floating your desire for just the artbook. Surely some other CAG'r woudl be happy to part with it for a fair price.

Makes sense. Feels so weird to cancel a CE that has been sold out for so long. I will check the trade thread like you said and put the info out there and just keep the preorder until after release. If it seems to be really hard I will pick it up and just hold onto it then for a bit and maybe sell it later, otherwise yeah I will cancel it. Thanks.

Well when you consider that the console here would be $400 and the special edition is another $100 it comes out cheaper, but then that depends on what you can get for shipping since you'd need a third party.

Lol did you post the same thing about the anniversary system when it was posted for MSRP? It only turned out to sell for $1200+ if you managed to catch it available (which is what threads like these are good for). Just because something might be MSRP doesnt mean its not a deal or doesnt belong in this section, especially with things that could turn out to be rare or hard to get for the collectors who really want them. Just check the Amiibo thread, rarely ever a deal but its the most popular thread on the site with over 2 million views.

When I saw this system a while back, it was when I decided I would buy a PS4.  However with no US announcement, I am feeling down on the chances of it ever coming here.  While it is nice to know that the importing option is now open, the hassle of getting something like that shipped here is enormous.  Price is not too bad through.

Come on US release...

I'm not disputing someone's range of interest in an item, but the 20th Anniversary consoles were actually limited to only 12300 worldwide. And the $1200 price was because of resellers. You can call anything you want "limited" but that doesn't make it so.

Whatever, though. To each their own.

 
^Similar boat as you. I am kinda afraid of international shipping of such expensive products. What happen if it isn't properly protected during shipping? A few things to think about for importers.

The Batman edition is on my preordered list but MGS and PlayStation together feels so right.... Hopefully they'll announce it before 6/23. It would suck if I cancelled the Batman edition AND they decided not to release the MGSV bundle it here.

 
pretty good deal, just keep in mind the special edition is NOT the collectors edition.  CE comes with arm (baby arm in west, full arm in japan) whereas SE comes with a map, artbook, bonus bluray disc, and some extra digital content.  Plus multiplayer for the game and the DLCs will be locked to japan region, i think (not sure about that part).

 
I would be shocked if Sony doesn't release a MGS PS4 console in the U.S.

Question is just which edition it will be, this one or the black edition with the fox / diamond dog logo on it

Consoles that are hard to find are constantly posted on here regardless of if they are MSRP or even OVER MSRP.

Majora's Mask N3DS, 20th Anniversary Ps4, etc etc.

Tenso.com is reputable but the hassle to verify identity can be a hassle.

 
Did any of you guys get your Dragon Age Inquisition CE replacement items yet? 

I think I forgot to follow up to their email long ago and so they might not have put in an order for what I needed.  Wonder if they made any extras, specifically the owl marker which is all I care about.

They haven't come to the states yet. Supposedly sometime this month.

Just because something might be MSRP doesnt mean its not a deal or doesnt belong in this section, especially with things that could turn out to be rare or hard to get for the collectors who really want them. Just check the Amiibo thread, rarely ever a deal but its the most popular thread on the site with over 2 million views.

So youre saying that if something might, perhaps, maybe, has a slim chance, that it could possibly be worth something sometime to someone that even if its MSRP its still a deal?

Or do you have a hard time understanding the context of deal on this site? A deal would consitute something that has a bonus offer beyond what the game would normally come with, or is less than MSRP, on sale, comes with a gift card or whatnot is a deal? A deal doesnt constitute someone buying something at MSRP and then selling it for more later (which most cag's seem to hate people who do that more than baby raping dog kicking mass murdering terrorists).

By your logic we should post every single thing to get released because there is a chance that it might be worth more and someone can resell it, or when it eventually goes out of print someone on the planet might still want one. So we should post every single thing that gets released on the off chance its the once in a blue moon, happens a couple times a year item that becomes worth more than MSRP?

Yes the ps4 and amiibos sell for quite a bit, but if its MSRP to the original purchaser it still isnt a deal now is it?

Don't you understand that no one cares when you act like the old man telling the kids to get off his lawn?

People spend their money in dfferent ways and as there was a lot of response for the MGS4 PS3, there's likely to be more of the same for this MGS V PS4. We get it, for you, MSRP != deal, though for lots of people, they like spending their money on items like this and it's their option.

That is insane. How long has it been? I always had my doubts when I first looked at it. Here's to Mass Effect 4 CE being the complete opposite of a total disaster.

 
So I received my Bloodborne Nightmare Ed. from Amazon.de on Friday and of course they didn't use much packing material and as a result a corner of the CE box was smashed!  My heart sank when I saw an unboxing video and noticed there is no padding around the tin at all but I kept hope because the corner of the tin is rounded anyways being the spot of the book spine.  I just now opened it and fate was not kind to me!  I knew this would likely happen and took the risk anyway.  SOB!
