Just because you and a lot of people really liked it doesnt mean everyone has to or will like it. Hence why we have so many types of games, because not everyone likes something. Just because the majority has an opinion doesnt mean anyone who doesnt share it is wrong.

Millions of people think transformers are good movies. Millions think mcdonalds has good food. Millions think nintendo first party games are amazing (they arent awful, just the same old shit over and over). Millions think angelina jolie is gorgeous. Millions think tom cruise is a good actor. I dont agree with any of them, Im not wrong and they arent right.

my KH 2.5 CE was also managed yet it was packed with shit load of packaging. so yes these were mangled before even shipping out and before even being padded up.

Sending a email tonight doubt it do anygood but yes these are definitely damaged returns

Managed = typo or a combination of mangled and damaged?

 
Add me to the "looks like it's a resold damaged return" category, as the front of my box was crushed/squished pre-shipment, or during shipment due to crappy packaging.    I don't think it was due to the packaging job as the box was pristine. 

Fired off an email asking for a partial refund or a pre-paid return + undamaged return with upgraded shipping as compensation.

My Kingdom Heart came in. The box looks like someone from UPS dropped the sharp corner of a solid cube on it which in turn went through and tore apart the game.

Needless to say I will be getting this returned tomorrow :(

I know right? And here I thought the steelbook would be the most valuable item in there, perhaps around $80 (but it seems it is only fetching around $40?). Who would've thought there is a huge market for tarot cards? I have never even met someone who knows how to use them.

Ok now I'm convinced this Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD CE restock is just SE selling returned orders from the first time around. So far everyone who got theirs claimed damages or bad conditions. That's pretty low move by SE if true.

^ That's a really low move... personally I thought that they decided to produce a few hundred more when they started making extra boxes for those that complained during the initial release... i mean if they have to go through the trouble of printing more boxes they might as well reproduce all the other items too.

Shitty though to resell returns, damaged returns at that, as new. It seems like everyone has received one with some sort of obvious damage despite being boxed well.

 
Everyone who contacts SE about the damaged KH2.5 CE please post the response you get back!!!

I'm nervous cause mine is on the way and I'll be pissed if they sold me a damaged product for full price.

They were packed well, just damaged prior to shipment. Mine came from TN. Maybe that is their returns center?

I just recently received the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 CE and it came in excellent condition but not perfect and was foam paper wrapped with air packets in the shipping box.

I must be the exception. Shipping box was beat to shit due to box thinness but both KH 2.5 were wrapped in double styrofoam sheets. I bought a lot of CE from SEO and other places before but never had any of them packaged this good before. CE boxes have minor dings and dents but not that big of a deal to me.

 
Received my Bloodborne Collector's Edition yesterday.  Thankfully the outside paper case doesn't matter because it was scratched + frayed.  Everything was great inside thankfully.  Looking forward to this awesome game.

The really sad part is that I was one of the ones who warned people about how horrible Pepita and Square Enix were about this whole thing the first time around and I was basically told that I was being unreasonable. Despite calling multiple times (it appears they no longer staff their phone line during regular business hours as it started going to voice mail on subsequent calls after I initially talked to someone in November) and e-mailing them repeatedly, they never sent me a return label or agreed to accept a return. Ultimately, I ended up getting stuck with a damaged item and a replacement box that they shipped in a converted FedEx box that showed up worse than the initially damaged CE they sent me. In any event, I don't buy from Square Enix or Pepita anymore and I actively encourage others not to as well.

... sounds like calling them is pointless. This was my second order with S-E/Pepita and the first one was FF Type 0 CE HD, which showed up without issue. Didn't think I'd be getting returned damaged stock on my second order.

Nope. I only want the steelbook and Best Buy offers one when you preorder the standard edition, so it's an easy decision for me.

 
I ordered the type 0 CE from square and it came in perfect condition. The kh scenario sucks but as long as it's just the box I wouldn't care since I would just toss that out lol. Someone return your damaged one so I can buy it lol.

Just like last time. Gwent card decks was the turning point for me; cloth map is a bonus. I don't have the console for it. Logically I'll sell the game with the goodies inside, then buy the PC version when it's on sale. Win-win. Normally I'd wait for a digital sale somewhere but I'd hate to have a steelbook lying around not in use. Makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Don't bother calling. All that is there on the phone number is a recording to provide the main S-E product support phone number for non-order issues and to go to the website for order issues.

So, looks like phone calls aren't the way to go with this one, at least via that phone number.

You're probably out of luck there. The good news is the BBY stickers are easy to remove. They almost feel like vinyl or something. They have a strange plasticy feel to them instead of paper, so often come off in one piece with no residue being left behind.

I have no idea about the Gamestop stickers. I didn't even know they did that.

well crap. I just pre orered one at both store and will take the one whos sticker comes off easiest i guess. I was guessing it was BBY. Like you said they seem to come off easily where GS stickers are usually hell. Not even sure why GS does it. Something about inventory management when they come in or something. Just GS being GS and gaying stuff up i guess

 
I received the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix CE yesterday. It was well packed, like everyone has been describing. The box has some wear on the bottom edge and a couple of slight dents to the cardboard but it's much better than I was expecting, after the initial reports. Oddly, the corner of the art book spine is dented, even though the box was not dented in that area. No damage to the steelbook, thankfully. I hope the rest of you still waiting fare well!

The BBY stickers come off super easy and without residue. On my Bravely Default CE (made of thin cardboard) the bby sticker came off with no tearing/residue while the seal sticker that nintendo put on it ripped the coloring off of the box.

My KH2.5 came in perfect condition on the outside. Tiny rip on the slip case for the art book's lower corner but to be honest just glad I got one. Those games were my childhood. Thanks for posting the link earlier people :).
