I received a very short response back from Pepita about my corner-crushed KH 2.5 CE and they just sent me a return label, without answering either question I posed them about a partial refund or a replacement order for the damaged one I have. It's not clear if they have any more, so if they don't, I'm not sending it back and expecting a partial refund. We'll see what they reply back with.

Let's hope this isn't another case of non-CE in CE wrapping. Since the price is right, they might have this right.

The only thing I can caution about Target pre-orders is the last two items I pre-ordered from them online, both of them Target-exclusive steelbooks, is they didn't ship in a timely manner. The first one shipped on release day or the day after release. The other one never shipped out and was showing as backordered the day after release, which I ended up picking up in-store and canceling.

If you have a RedCard, it's 5% off, which is the only reason to order it from them. Not sure how many Target will get as well.

 
I have the MGSVCE on pre-order on best buy (GCU) and amazon, hanging onto amazon in case best buy doesn't come through.  I wonder how Target will do with these, I've only been burned once and it was with the Pikachu 3DS.

Only other option might be to call 866-826-8003, which is what is listed on my credit card account info from their charge on my KH 2.5 CE order. I'll give that number a call later.

I just wanted to point out to those who were worried/curious, but if you had preordered the Witcher 3 way back when from BB before they offered the steelbook bonus (so its not a SKU on your receipt), I was told by the fine gents at BB Forums that they will definitely still honor the bonus in-store and if for any reason I experience any trouble to contact them (BB Forums) and they'll square it away! So that's good news!

Also, I was told that if you ordered the GS CE recently (restock) that you may NOT qualify for the pre-order bonus necklace/pendant as they are supposed to allocate those to the first set of preorders, but well, not really sure how GS employees will handle that, so YMMV if you were trying for one of those.

It's not listed on the pre-order page on the GS website about the pendant, so yes, you probably won't get it. In the past, there was normally a separate line item for the pre-order bonus, though not sure if that's the case or not.

I dont get it - it says on my receipt that the pre-order bonus is a steel book with a sku #. So, I am ok, right? You are talking about preorders after the initial lot, where the steel book is not being mentioned(?) as a bonus.

Hope I dont get tricked out of the steel book, just cause I got it shipped instead of instore pick up.

I'm talking about preorders on BestBuy.com for shipping, especially the CE that has never been in stock while the second steelbook bonus was offered.

I'm sure the mods will help you out either way. I mean, I have a .com order for store pickup, but if the store doesn't get the steelbooks in then there's nothing I can do about it. Same situation, would have to contact a mod and have them make an order and ship one out to me I guess.

 
I still can't figure out what comes with the Yennifer/Triss (aka Novigrad) steelbook.... And google search doesn't tell me shit.

Don't bother calling this number. This is for the Peptia/SE Store payment processor, so no luck there. Just called it and the guy on the other end of the phone wasn't able to help.

I called Pepita once to try to change my payment method IIRC. The woman who answered clearly spoke English as a second language and didn't seem to understand what I was asking for, so I wasn't able to get it done. I suppose I could have asked for a supervisor, but at that point I really didn't feel like spending any more time on this and just let it be.
 
so it looks like the skellige steelbook is no longer offered with witcher 3 preorders at bestbuy. was there a couple days ago last I checked.

It was there on Tuesday, as I changed my pre-order from XB1 to PS4 and it's showing there as the 2nd line item on the order. SKU # for it is 2213003.

Instore preorders are always tricky. I'd show up early on release day to make sure you get one. I've heard people say they couldn't get there until after work or something and they gave away all the preorder bonus to first come, first serve.
 
Needs some help. I read from here that you can use a UK code if you sign up for a UK PSN. I have the PS4 MKX CE from amazon.uk, Just signed up for UK PSN, and able to download the Gold Skin code. But the skin doesn't show up when logging into my US PSN. Am I doing something wrong or the code region-locked even if I have UK and US PSN on the same PS4 console?

 
I emailed Peptia back when I had asked them for something other than a knee-jerk reaction to sending me a return label without any explanation. My initial email to them was asking for a pre-paid return label to send the damaged one back and get its replacement sent out with upgraded shipping, or a partial refund. I asked again for what I did in my initial email and this is what they sent back in response:

Dear Shrike4242,

I am afraid that we cannot agree to perform the partial refund you request.

As our policy states, in order to initiate the resend process, your package must first arrive to our warehouse and be inspected by our claims team. Additionally, we have some Kingdom Hearths 2.5 in stock for these cases, so you don't need to worry as to the availability of a replacement.

In your inbox you should have already received a Fedex notification will all the next steps. Please let me know how would you like to proceed.

Guess I'll send this one back and take my chances on its replacement. There's always a chargeback if they give me the run-around on it or I get one that's worse.

I'm gonna message them back confirming that they'll send a replacement out after they receive it and not just refund me, cause that'd be stupid as hell. I don't trust these guys at all.

I'm gonna message them back confirming that they'll send a replacement out after they receive it and not just refund me, cause that'd be stupid as hell. I don't trust these guys at all.

Check above with my post. Supposedly, they do have stock for replacements, I'm more concerned that it'll be worse than I have now.

 
I mean my response said the same thing. It's in the "warehouse." Doesn't mention they'll automatically ship replacements out once they receive the originals back though.

It's a gamble either way though... I'm definitely sending back the one with the tear in it. The crushed one... I'm not sure yet. Not convinced they have perfect conditions ones lol.

 
Is it confirmed that the PS3 version of the FFXIV Heavensward CE is only on the Square Store? Looks like it got unlisted from Amazon entirely. Best Buy never listed one either.

Just go to Target and get like a $10 (or $50) body pillow. It'll be about 5" shorter than the case, and the case is about 5" shorter than the standard Japanese hug pillows. But it'll work.

My experience with BB in trying to get the Batman Origins Metalpak (where it took an hour complaining at the front desk & calling corporate to finally have them send someone to the media closet in the back to find them) is why I never preorder games from BB, just BB exclusive Steelbook movies. I just use my GCU for post-release sales on things I don't buy from my GS, which never has issues.
